  1. Thanks Pandy! Could you please also rename it to Disney Princesses as that seems to be the name of the theme? Thanks.
  2. The rest of the sets have now been posted: 41050 Ariel’s Secret Treasures - $13 41051 Merida’s Highland Games - $20 41052 Ariel’s Magical Kiss - $30 41053 Cinderella’s Enchanted Carriage - $30 41054 Rapunzel’s Tower of Creativity - $40 41055 Cinderella’s Castle Romance - $70 I'm still a little surprised that the Brave set is bigger than the Ariel's Treasures set. I guess it must include part of the castle or Angus' horse stable, otherwise I just can't see how they could justify it being 20 bucks. Also, it seems that this theme is pretty much confirmed now, so I think this thread should be renamed and moved to Licensed.
  3. Keep in mind, though, that the Ninjago booster packs and Friends animals (Frienimals?) are just meant to compliment their respective themes. Mixels are different since they represent their entire theme, so I think they are more comparable to Bionicle/HF sets in that they are buildable characters from a Cartoon Network show which also come in waves of around 9 if I'm not mistaken. And since these are relatively small and cheap, I think they can afford to release them a bit more rapidly. EDIT: Looks like the sets will be 3.99 Euros/dollars each.
  4. That's exactly what I was thinking! I'm hoping the dark minifig is Red Skull and that Hulk will have a different facial expression and purple pants! Looking forward to this set! Everything else sound very meh so far as it sounds like we'll be getting a lot of repeats, but I'll stay open minded until I see some pictures myself. This is what Hulk and Falcon might look like (although I hope Falcon will comes with hair like in the videogame): Well, the way I see it, 76013 is the steamroller set, with the "truck" being the steamroller and the "Scarecrow" being Joker. I can see how one could mistake Joker for Scarecrow since they both have a lightly colored head and a hat. And 76011 is likely the Man Bat set with the black shark-shaped vehicle being the Batcopter. It probably looked like it was underwater because it was supposed to be flying. Those must have been some really blurry pics!
  5. Actually, it's called Mission in the Spider-Car. And here is the correct link.
  6. Well, the article says that Mixels will be released "in 2014 in three series, starting March", so I'm guessing there will be 3 series of 9 Mixels in 2014, much like there are 3 series of 16 CMFs each year, with the first series being released in March and the other two later in the year. The silhouettes on the SDCC display might just depict the March wave. That's what I got out of it anyway.
  7. Yeah, talking Bee takes some getting used to, but he talked in a way I would imagine him to talk in a more serious show such as this. That's what makes this Bumblebee so great, that he is wiser and more mature than his age and rank (or any previous incarnations of him) would suggest. Also, if the title of a movie is your biggest concern, it is definitely more than just okay.
  8. Did anyone watch Transformer Prime: Predacons Rising? I thought it was very good, much like the rest of the series. In fact, it almost felt like a comprised version of the fourth season that we never got. I wonder if that's really the case, but either way, it worked as it is. It was a nice last hoorah for the series (and a possible lead-in to a sequel series, if there really is one). There's just one thing I can nitpick:
  9. To be honest, I didn't catch it when I was watching it, but after hearing some of the reviews, I can totally see it and it's bugging me too. Why does every survival movie have to have religious undertones?
  10. Really? I thought it was one of the most suspenseful movies in a long time, not to mention very well shot. If Bullock gets an Oscar for that role, I think she deserves it. But I guess suspenseful movies aren't everybody's thing... Yeah, I think the cheesiness of it is what made it so enjoyable. Same goes for the latest Riddick movie.

  12. Sure! I'll have to wait until I actually have the figs though. By the way, thanks to everyone who has been supporting the Cuusoo project! As of this post, it is only 54 votes away from having 1.000 supporters, so please keep the votes coming!
  13. Because the guys at FBTB have been a bunch of Negative Nancys lately. Like Chills said, whether or not you will like this set depends on your own expectations. If small design flaws don't bother you too much, you will probably like it just fine. That's because this Death Star is not a UCS set, just a D2C set. If you want a sticker though, you could request one in the Decal Wishlist thread.
  14. The Brick Fan has more pics of MODOK and the Heroes side of that poster, although I don't know where they got the latter. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes vs Villains by tormentalous, on Flickr
  15. I think the answer is pretty obvious. TLC always does a lot of market research before creating new themes and the fact that they design their themes with few females in boy oriented themes and few males in girl oriented themes shows that boys relate better to male characters and girls relate better to female characters. And the success of those themes proves that Lego's market research is right. We as adults look more for gender equality (I thought that Nya was grossly underutilized in Ninjago for example), but no matter what we think, this is what kids seem to want, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I think as long as TLC keeps throwing at least one strong female character into each action theme, it'll be fine.
  16. You can still get the B-Wing at around MSRP at places like Amazon. And yes, I think the DS is expected to be discontinued soon since it is quite an old set. It is indeed a lot of money, but well worth it I think. It might still drop in price before it is discontinued though, so I'd say go ahead and get the B-Wing first.
  17. Welcome to EB! Well, you could get the new Ewok Village which has some nice figs and makes for a cool scene. Then you should get the Death Star which has tons of great figs and classic scenes. After that, you could try to hunt down some older UCS sets, depending on which ones interest you the most. The Battle of Endor is also a fairly detailed set with good figs which would make a nice addition to the Ewok Village. Hope this helps.
  18. It depends on what you want. If you don't like the CW designs, get rid of them and get the new ones. I for one like the CW designs and will keep them and combine them with the new ones. In fact, I prefer the TCW commanders over the Ep.II ones. As for the ARFs, you could probably just keep their helmets and put them on the new clones. I'd definitely get rid of the bomb squad troopers, though, if you have any. Those are completely useless except for making custom clones maybe. Oh, and it's never "just Lego".
  19. Toy Story of Terror Teasers! I can respect that. I didn't think Dory was all that funny either (one of the reasons why I'm skeptical about a movie centered around her), unlike all the other side characters which were hilarious in my opinion. And people seem to have very polarized views of Wall-E (I personally love it). Brave. As I said before, it's not a bad movie, but it's just too unoriginal and not action-packed or funny enough for me to get behind.

  21. How was anything that was said before your post not serious? Anyway, I think we all would like a Casey and Karai. Metalhead and Leatherhead would be cool too, especially if the latter is a bigfig. Hm, it seems you're right. Still, I don't think it would make for a very interesting set. And I agree, four player would be a perfect feature for the game. The people at TT are always looking for ways to improve each Lego game, and this would definitely be a great way to do so. A free-roam New York City like in the Super Heroes games would be a requirement as well. Next year would be a good time to release a Lego TMNT game since it could tie in with the release of the film, but I think we would have heard something about it by now if that was the case. I'm still holding out hope though...
  22. I already mentioned the sub and buggy. The Technodrome is unlikely since it would be too big and probably not have many play features. I can see the TCRI building as a Daily Bugle type set, but honestly I don't think we will get any more Kraang based sets since they are defeated in the show now. I have been on board for that ever since the theme got announced! TMNT is a perfect fit for the Lego game formula (beat up bad guys and solve puzzles) and with the rich history of the franchise, there are many characters, vehicles, and locations they could include. But perhaps TLG is waiting for Season 2 of the new show to air so that they have enough material to base the game primarily on that show.
  23. Somehow it looked different to me too... Never mind.
  24. I agree. It doesn't really look like Cole is controlling the mech, it looks like he is trying not to fall off that spindly thing! I think the mech lays down in the back of Jay's vehicle, with the shoulders and feet becoming the mudflaps of the Thunder Raider. Should be interesting to see. Well, it says that it has "speed mode wings" and the wings are attached via turntables, so the wings can probably fold back. Definitely not as cool as Jay's jet.
  25. Here's a speculation: The tan hairpiece in this upcoming Ninjago set might be a tan version of Anakin's Ep3 hair from the upcoming Jedi Interceptor. They used a tan version of the CW Anakin hair for Lloyd in the Ninjago TV show, so maybe they are doing the same thing in this set with Anakin's new hair.
