  1. Thank you! As for the box, are you referring to the back compartment? It doesn't really look like a pizza box to me, so I don't know how to make that work, sorry.
  2. What pizza box? Anyway, all this talk about racism gave me an idea... Clone Discrimination by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here are some puns: The Battle of Croissant by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Wrong Droids by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  3. A lot of funny cliched lines here. I can especially relate with Kivi's lines. And yeah, that cnet article is pretty silly. Here are some that I've heard: "Dude, you should totally take apart all your Legos and build a giant tower out of it!" - my friends Right, like that's gonna happen. "What's Clone Wars?" - random mom in the TRU Lego aisle "Look at the cute Lego people!" - parents at Lego displays. They're called minifigures, dammit!
  4. Max is dark azure I believe, so not exactly the right color, but perhaps closer to Watto's skin than medium azure. By the way, S11 Scientist's hands are medium azure as well.
  5. Yeah, you should watch it. It's my least favorite of the MCU as well, but it's not bad, it just could have been better. I didn't like that Thor didn't have his powers for most of the movie, but at least it made for some comedic scenes. There was a lack of action for my taste, but the sequel seems to rectify that. And don't worry about the magic part, they explain it away as science for the most part.

    Star Wars

The Bothan Spies at JediNews seem to have uncovered the code name for Episode VII, and it's the silliest code name I've ever heard. http://www.jedinews.co.uk/news/news.aspx?newsID=12848
  7. Nice! I'm really liking this Cyberdyne-like marketing approach they are taking with this.
  8. Thanks for another fantastic review, WhiteFang! This is a very good series as most of the figs have at least one rare part, except maybe the Barbarian. It is now August 1st and Series 11 is nowhere to be found on S@H, so I guess the official release date must be September as previously reported, at least in the US.
  9. Aw, too bad I didn't win any prizes despite the extra points, but I'm honored to have received the bonus points and the tag! You can replace one of my Sci-Fi tags for it. Congrats to the lucky winners. The Chi is strong in you! I kinda like this contest/raffle concept. It encourages entrants to make more high-quality MOCs while still giving everyone a fair chance at winning.
  10. I wont be going since the event is only for children, so I can't say for sure, but looking at the picture of the set, it does seem to have several lavender 1x4 bricks. As you said on your blog, it's quite a rare instance for a piece to appear in a new color in an event build like this. I bet this set will be worth quite a bit. I received an email from Lego today promoting the event.
  11. Watched Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox yesterday. Awesome movie! I've been looking forward to this one for a while now and it did not disappoint! It was very dark, violent, and intense! Probably the grittiest animated DC film to date, so don't watch this with children or if you don't like the dark turn that comic book movies have been taking lately. However, if you are an adult DC fan who doesn't mind seeing your favorite heroes brutally kill each other, definitely check it out! The story was a bit choppy and far fetched, but other than that it was good. Overall another great job by DC. I wonder why Marvel can never make such good animated movies. This movie made me want the Flash minifig even more now.
  12. For DC today I have Red Tornado and Vixen: And for Marvel, I have none other than Stan "the Man" Lee! I based it on his representation in the Lego Marvel videogame. Here he is together with his creations: Stan Lee, the Parkour Master!
  13. You're probably thinking of the S11 Yeti, although I think that his hands are azure, not sand blue like Watto's arms, but probably still better than his current dark gray hands. They would work very well for Aayla Secura though!
  14. I don't think the arms were meant to be opened. It might be possible to break them open along the mold line that seems to be going from the side of the index finger up to the shoulder, but I don't recommend doing that if you intend to put it back together afterwards. I'd say just try to ignore the noise and leave it as it is.
  15. Great, thanks! Please make sure that the heads and jaws of the Wargs are in the same position.
  16. Yeah... I'm also debating whether or not to include Speed Racer, seeing as there is a Speed Racer series currently airing on Nick. Might be fun to make mini versions of some of the cars.
  17. Another +1 for GRogall! It took almost a month for the package to arrive, but I don't think that was his fault, and all the traded items were in good condition.
  18. Sorry, I guess I should have known that it doesn't belong there. It just seems like a no-brainer. To me it looks a lot like the Otana, which gives it some nostalgia plus points for me. Though I probably wouldn't buy it if it does become a set.
  19. I think it's a safe bet to say that we'll get a set of the Ghost, the ship of the main characters in Star Wars Rebels, at some point.
  20. Sorry, but as I said on Flickr and Cuusoo, since I don't have many LotR figs, I can't. Besides, most of them would look like they were made out of wood and stone, and the whole concept of cars in Middle Earth is a bit questionable anyway.
  21. Thanks! Glad you like it. And yes, currently I am in the planning stages of Nickelodeon Racers.
  22. Thanks everyone! Looks like Hulk is smashing the competition, followed by Deadpool and Iron Man. And it seems that Marvel is a step ahead of DC as usual. Unfortunately I had to take apart the DC ones in order to make the Marvel ones, but I tried to make a group shot by photoshopping the two pictures together: Super Heroes Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  23. I'm back! Here are some new ones. The first one is a reference to voice actor Tom Kenny: Doctor Octopants by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Many people get the two LotR villains Saruman and Sauron confused, so I combined the two characters into one to avoid the confusion: Sauronman by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here's one about Thor asking the wrong guy for directions: Rainbow Bridge by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  24. Thanks everyone! I'm flattered. Because some might find that offensive. I was already unsure whether or not to do the War Machine one, but since the focus in that one was more on the lightsaber hilt than the fact that he is black, I thought it was ok. I know Seso and Windu have the same head, but people who don't know this may take it the wrong way. Heck, some even thought the Lando one was racist.
  25. From the article: So that means if we get more TMNT sets, they will be based on the Michael Bay movie? Ugh. Let's just hope Lego makes the best of it.
