  1. So @Filibbooo... On closer inspection it looks like you are not telling us everything here... Where does she fit in your diorama? Are there more cool MOC surprises in store for us soon?
  2. That Medium Nougat hull looks actually pretty good, and I like the rest of the colours you used on the stern. While this is work-in-progress, have you played with idea of adding one... or two extra Middle hull parts to give it more serious Galleon look? Either way, fine progress so far
  3. This is fantastic work, and that's a clever way to secure bridge, I'll steal borrow that idea for my island. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is also a crocodile cave at the bottom of waterfall? Right?
  4. Try to study this tutorial here by Dunkleosteus, and then read the whole topic here as there are valuable tips from other members here and there.
  5. Ahoy @Dashiell brown, I added one picture in the post so people here can see your fine work in progress. Now, how did I do that? How do you add pictures to the post? It is easier than you think. 1. Go to your Imgur gallery and open one picture in the new tab. 2. Copy the url address 3. Paste the address here, inside the post, and the system will automatically embed the picture inside the post. If you are unsure, and don't want to make mess, you can go to training ground for new members here-click and practice your posting pictures skills. Try it. And, welcome aboard
  6. Also, add the behind pictures (which I saw on your Instagram but not here) of the pier and the beach, and the arch
  7. This is jaw-dropping You really outdid yourself. Imperial Outpost is great, but the Island is even better! I really like the palm trees you added, the Island Pt.1 was somehow naked without them. Great build!
  8. Looking at the last picture (the whole fleet including original), I can say you have done extraordinary job with each ship. They are great. This is going to be covered by the Classic-Pirates in the near time future
  9. @BrickHammer thank you for your detail answers, I will try my best not to plague you with more questions (even though I could... Q: Have you built any of your 10k ideas in real-life and have them in your house...) So let us add that big shiny SUPPORT BUTTON and help you reach your EIGHT 10K idea! That's right folks, BrickHammer has in his portfolio 7x 10k ideas... click HERE to read an interesting interview with this fantastic builder. SUPPORT NOW
  10. Couple of things, sharing your Work-in-progress pictures is not spamming, it is great contribution to the community of aspiring builders who are nowhere near your level. And second, Instagram allows only 1080x1080 pictures, so sharing there could limit our ability to see fine details from up-close. There is easy solution if you want to keep things nice and tidy. Hide your WIP picture with spoiler button here in the menu. Example: (If you need further help with this, just say so) I like this, even though you find it weird... this could be very well MOC of it's own, which leads me to another question: How come you don't sell instructions on Rebrickalbe? I know once you submit design to LEGO Ideas you don't have rights to it for the period of 2 years (the fine print), but have you considered ever making instructions for sale?
  11. With the ship easily assembled, prolific builder Astral Bricks spent some time tinkering what to do with the remaining parts of the 21322 The Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Come to the LEGO Pirates Forum and see what can be achieved with a few extra parts, and a bit of imagination, in his re-envisioned MOC Barracuda Bay... without the Ship
  12. It's an extraordinary build, and I like the both versions of the roof, even the chapel one, but I can imagine that this was a struggle for you. Too bad you had to remove one cannon in this final version, it looked really mighty with two cannons on the platform. And thank you for sharing details of your design process, I really like the picture of the first rough draft. Questions How long did it take you to design this, days... weeks... months? And while designing, do you jump from one project to another, or do you stick to only one until it's finished 100%?
  13. I find your designs most interesting, and very old-school. Do you have trouble finding some of the rare parts, like masts, for you build?
  14. This is great and useful idea, thanks for sharing
  15. While we wait for the Classic-Pirates blog post about this terrifying build (which is finished and scheduled for release somewhere in the near time future) during our torture interview with @Barbatos we learned that he wrote extensive backstory of how the Charon’s Chest came to be. The story is loosely based on the Captain John Blackheart, who is mentioned just briefly in the LEGO comic book “The Gold Medallion” (which you should really read). It’s a good read, original story idea, but too long to be incorporated within the blog post. On the other hand hook, it’s too good not to be shared here inside the forum with you. The original is written in the Italian. For those who speak and read the Italian we provide you the story in original format of four pictures below. Just click and view the hidden content. For others, also hidden inside the spoilers further below (just so we can keep the things inside the topic nice and tidy), there is Google-translated text version. Hope you enjoy. ---------- ITALIAN ACT 1 ACT 2 ACT 3 ACT 4 ---------- ENGLISH ACT I: The first shipwreck and the era of masks. ACT II: the beginning of the end ACT III: The expulsion ACT IV: You only die once!
  16. Well, we are looking forward to see your tips & tricks behind that piece of art. It's a great looking ship. I've just read your tutorial about the Pool - making of and is amazing how you find time and energy to go on and explain all the details, while at the same time you could go on and build something else. Great effort How do you build your creations? Meaning, do you have huge LEGO room with even bigger in-house warehouse of bricks and plates, and then you go on and build right there on the spot, or do you use digital design first on computer? (My money is on the former)
  17. Hey @ranghaal , it's great to see you here. By the way, you were on the Classic-Pirates.com, check it out.
  18. Welcome aboard, this looks very lovely, great job How long did it take you to design it?
  19. I've seen in the behind scenes documentary that it was based on Vanestream idea they found on Eurobricks years before when he used old profile, which was hacked and deleted, by Hollywood elite in collaboration with Disney, to cover their tracks. The documentary was also then deleted from YouTube. @VaneStream You could also share, perhaps, synopsis of the Season 2? The sea looks excellent!
  20. Ahoy Darkdragon, For our Pirate purposes I'm searching for reviewers lessons and guides, so any chance this has become publicly available by now? Thanks! Marin
  21. Oh, this is clever, very clever solution. It looks almost like something from the James Bond movie, but works great with Pirates
  22. I think you nailed it pretty good. Other than Ninjago head already mentioned to you, I can't find single thing which could be improved. Good luck
  23. How do you access the inside of the cave, is the top easily removable like in the tower of the outpost? What's your trick here? The lighting idea inside the cave is awesome
