Eurobricks member Ayrlego, one of Brethren of the Brick Seas most prolific builders, went deep into the deserts of New Oleon, and got back. Pack your gear, double check your water supply, and race your camel to the LEGO Pirates BoBS Forum and see the Foreign Legion Outpost.

[OL FB] Foreign Legion Outpost, New Oleon
Marooned Marin replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Ayrlego you have beenon Classic-Pirates.com -
Well, yes... you see I got in a fight yesterday and... oh no don't worry, you should see the other guy, I ripped his head off right on the spot.

This is simply great stuff, you really push your pirate MOCs to the whole new level of amazing. How heavy are they?
-
I think your effort paid off in spades, it really looks like a well thought build. The underground section is just fantastic. Are you planning to build this Ideas-version, or you gonna go BIG and build full modular tower?

[SR-FB] - Swamp village, Sabre island

You nailed the classic feel perfectly. I love the telephone handles along the hut wall. I'm gonna add this on my to-do list for Classic-Pirates. -
Well, there is lot to appreciate on your vision of Imperial Outpost. The build is well packed and full of play potential. I just love the bougainvillea growing along the tower. You nailed it great! How long did it take you to finish your design? Also, welcome to the forum

As before, you have done great job on mast rigging with LEGO ropes. The ship looks great, and I'm curious to see what colour for sails you will choose. Do you have any particular in mind?

Found it! That's a clever design!

@Piraten So by pushing the bricks the front rock-wall opens? What happens when you push this brick?
-
You can also share here your work in progress from Instagram, the legendary ship of Cap.... (we know who) Just name your topic [WIP] ______name______ Many of builders here don't have Instagram or Facebook, but they would love to see your design process.

[MOC] My very first MOC - The Forgotton Beach Fortress
Marooned Marin replied to chris1980's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is fantastic final result. @chris1980 do you have more pictures of the real build, from all angles? -
Last time I saw him he entered "Pirate-tavern" draft post... and never came out. I'm stabbing this one for now.

If I can nitpick, the only thing which is missing is the flag But other than that, this is great real-build galleon with many fantastic details worth of study. If you want to work a little on sails, you can always have them immersed in colourless glue&water solution, that's how some ship-modellers do it. After that the sails are still bendable, but retain that stiff nice looking shape. Best thing is to iron them first, or even better, try it first on a spare piece of cloth if you are interested.

Best we continue to make intolerable noise, who knows, maybe they do bring back the Pirates. @Piraten I have a question: what does this button brick do? Is it a way to open secret gate inside?
-
Ahoy @Piraten how good to see you back where you belong This is good looking build, and even if it's not even half way to the half way point it's a long shot to reach next milestone, this certainly deserves to be covered on our fine and much beloved blog, regardless of the current LEGO Ideas status. Yes, @Mister Phes, someone will take a stab at this ASAP. If I remember correctly, this project was doomed from the start on LEGO Ideas, they first rejected you due to the too much similarities to the Barracuda bay? (yes... the similarities are just staggering)

This is cool. Have you showed them LEGO version of the Peggy?
-
Ahoy @greg3, You have been and frontpaged check it out.

Eurobricks member Greg3 shares with us unbelievable story about the oldest surviving schooner in the world. Sail, or swim if you have to, but hurry to the LEGO Pirates Forum and check out the Yacht Peggy, now in all her brick glory.
