  1. A little while ago Eurobricks member Barbatos set the social networks on fire with his terrifying design. But what most LEGO fans don’t know is that he shared the same design over a year ago here, in the heart of the LEGO Pirates community. Come to the LEGO Pirates Forum and see this rediscovered shipbuilding gem for yourself. The Charon’s Chest awaits you!
  2. You have a fantastic eye, and thank you for this breakdown.
  3. Oh great, so it means there's gold to be found here Great design, and I love the musket holding the sign, such a cool detail. As mentioned before me, the stairs are just amazing. Supported, and I'm looking forward to your future updates, to see by what means they can escape this corner of paradise. And please, add more images inside the forum. Now let's add that big RED shiny button to your post. SUPPORT NOW Do you know what part is that? It does look great.
  4. Even though there are no words, facial expressions from both sides tell the whole story. Lovely build.
  5. It's cool! And I like the cannon inside the tower, instead of 'on the tower', it gives small touch of realism in play, but not too much to become too serious. There is a fine line between, and I think you got it right with this small MOC. In the future, if you are sharing something new, not entirely related to the previous build, make a new topic about it and give it a name. You can always make a reference to the previous build with a link inside to post. So, what should we call this island?
  6. @cjtonic you have been on Classic-Pirates.com
  7. In that case I suggest you use this combination: They should! Trading post without gold would be... like bottle without rum. Now, since you have improved your original post, lets add that big red shiny support button. SUPPORT NOW
  8. No problemo And while we are on subject of advice, I know rendering in Studio can be painfully slow, but you should aim to make higher resolution renders, at least 1280x960. I usually aim at 1600x1200. Yeah, this can take an hour, or two...or three, but presentation is everything in this game (MOCing game), so make it good, and leave it overnight, by the morning you'll have great image. In one week you can have whole gallery. Later you can easily edit and update HD images inside the forum. ..... Now the questions about the MOC. Does the trading post have furnished interior, or hidden compartments filled with gold?
  9. Most excellent! 1. Go to your Flickr account and open one picture in the new tab. 2. Click view full size 3. Copy the url address: example on the picture 4. Paste the address, inside the post (click edit post), and the system will automatically embed the picture inside the post. The End ...... If unsure, you can go to training ground for new members here-click and practice your posting pictures skills. Hope this helps.
  10. Ok, you definitely got something going there, and you are gaining support on LEGO Ideas, but we need more images, here, on the forum to give feedback and engage perhaps in some form of discussion... so first, you must acquire posting images skills, as users are not allowed to upload directly to the forum server. Any chance you have Flickr or Bricksafe account?
  11. Given the size of your collection I imagine you dust every week, if not every third day. Now this reminded me. What's your policy with kids? Do they get to play with Pirate sets, or they are strictly off limits? I tend to give my MOCs for play, but under the condition they will not be dissembled.
  12. Well, the Eurobricks Staff Structure writes somewhat different: Mister Phes holds this position. Its powers and exact role are mysteries, but if you watch any pirate movie you should get the general idea. The line above this may give clue to one major power Governor has: ...respect should still be given to them wherever you see them just the same; you don't want to have The Governor bending you over the barrel...
  13. NAY Mr. Dreamweb, I had absolutely nothing with writing this wonderful blog-post, all the credits goes to our Governor. I only frontpaged you, and you are welcome. You better edit your post and thanks here, before he gets the wind of it, and decides to practice some of his power over us!
  14. This happens to new members, don't worry. You can't upload images to Eurobricks forum by default, because there is too many members and little space on server. Instead, you upload your work to the popular image hosting platform, like Flickr or BrickSafe. Have you got one of those? (Note: Instagram does not count in this matter). Once you have them there, the rest is simple: 1. Go to your Flickr (BrickSafe) account and open one picture in the new tab. 2. Click view full size 3. Copy the url address: example on the picture 4. Paste the address, inside the post, and the system will automatically embed the picture inside the post. The End ...... If you unsure, you can go to training ground for new members here-click and practice your posting pictures skills. Hope this helps. Now show us that mountain.
  15. @Dreamweb You have been frontpaged andon Classic-Pirates.com
  16. Not so long ago Eurobricks member Dreamweb got bitten by the DUPLO-bug! Oh dear... As you already know, once exposed to DUPLO the condition is incurable. Protect yourself, best you can, and come and see his Hippocampus creation, if ye dare, in the LEGO Pirates forum.
  17. Love it, and can't wait to see it on next BIG convention, during the dim-lights. Technical question: How do you fight against the dust? Do you clean every set regularly, or do you store them in boxes?
  18. What a terrifying video! That's a cool feature, with the jaw of skull, nice!
  19. Fantastic little boat ship! Part of the 'Being Pirates II', or a completely separate build?
  20. This fine build was on Classic-Pirates.com , check it out!
  21. @Legostein This contest is tailored for you and this project. Check it out.
  22. You could start with this most excellent recent entry. Welcome to the forum
  23. Thank ye, you are also too kind. I'm looking forward to your fort, keep up the good work
  24. I used it here (just scroll down until you hit the comic)... and you can do whole bunch of cool stuff in there. Regarding your storytelling abilities, they are pure entertainment, so don't doubt them. Now, the most painful question: Will there be part II, and when?
  25. Awesome! Great MOC and the story, love it! For the future, if you love making comics, I would recommend you to check out Comic Life 3, it's a wonderful and easy tool for making comics.
