  1. You have certainly mastered the Galleon style, and this is great ... but I still like Cartagena better (maybe it's the colours), in any case both are fantastic.
  2. Quick question: those chests at the back, they are something new in LEGO or they are here quite some time (and I'm dangerously out of date). They look good. Adding to that, that Hulk tree is awesome
  3. You are most welcome, but best way to thank us is by supplying us with boatload of rum for the rest of our lives building more astonishing pirate MOCs like this. Keep up the good work. Thank you RedRackham. This reminds me, we are eagerly waiting for your debut in Pirate MOCs subforum. You have been dodging the public eye for too long, and the centre of the stage awaits you. See how it went well for Cincinnati.
  4. This is truly astonishing build Well done! Question: how do you keep the dust off this massive creation at you home (or your LEGO room)?
  5. @TalonCard Your awesome piece of work is almost (mentioned) inside the latest post on Classic-Pirates.com
  6. Mighty good builds require equally mighty coverage, and you ser have just been on Classic-Pirates.com
  7. This is so cool. So many nice details to observe and study, really fantastic job. You captured the Carrack style quite good
  8. Again, like in the Sabre Island, you managed to use yellow beautifully with Bluecoats. Wonderful build
  9. Incredible fleet and amount of work put into it. I wonder how they transported everything without breaking, and where do you store this at home out of the children reach?
  10. Nice build. Love the effort you did with adding the characters from the movie.
  11. Oh this is another outstanding small MOC from you, fantastic build. Love the backstory
  12. Several years ago on the 1st of April I called my girlfriend and kindly informed her that it’s about time to end our long relationship. I haven’t seen her or responded to any of her calls or messages since then. Imagine my disappointment when I called her this morning and found out that she didn’t get the joke. It breaks my heart when people don’t get the joke. This is a deal breaker and this time we parted our ways for good. I still love her and I don’t judge, but imagine how great it would be if she responded with ha-ha you got me there! Good one.
  13. Fantastic work, and thank you for the book list, as a bookworm I'll put them on my summer reading list.
  14. Beautiful MOC!
  15. Does it have a name? I can't imagine that you call it simply 18 Gun Brig
  16. I would never notice the small issue with the masts if you kept silent It is great, I really like the stern with this window configuration and colors. Many fine details can be found, but the best is how you used the net for mast rigging. Ingenious I presume you build everything right off with real LEGO pieces or you first make digital design? No chance to know how many pieces went into this model?
  17. "You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club." - Jack London (author of The Sea-Wolf, a mandatory reading for any Pirate wannabe bookworm) Go get them
  18. Say, back in 2014 have you made extensive topic about it here in Pirate-forum? If yes, please give me a link to see more about it. If not, you should make a new topic with more pictures and juicy details, it is certainly good looking ship and deserves appropriate attention!
  19. You are making fine progress, but may I ask what is that right on the picture, looks like built ship with interesting stern
  20. In that case I'll be happy to take a stab and maybe test limits with word count, because the overall energy put into this display is worth more than an regular thousands words.
  21. So... is there a maximum allowed word count per blog post? Because this material here could easily fill one nice e-book: The untold story of LEGO Pirates. Great work on infographic
