[WIP] HMS Victory in mini figure scale
Marooned Marin replied to brick_models's topic in Pirate MOCs
Welcome aboard @brick_models, I have seen your work-in-progress on Instagram, great project. How long have you been doing this? When did you start? ... Also, you might wanna check this short tutorial as posting images directly to Eurobricks is limited. HOW TO UPLOAD PHOTOS - Click Spoiler -
Thanks Chris, glad to hear it! Not yet, but maybe this time next year... who knows
-
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, 10 year frame is already pushing the boundaries of our comfort zone So what say you Governor, is this the ultimate pirate ship - or - closely in the top 5? Same question to you @Cincinnati

After over a decade of long wait, the Classic-Pirates crew finally brings you a blog-post about this shipbuilding gem. You see, we will eventually cover all fantastic MOCs inside the forum, so don't despair if that does not happen during this particular decade for your fantastic idea. If it's good, it will be published! (eventually) Read more about the Scorpion's Soul, and his creator @Hass Kabal , in this week post on the Classic-Pirates.com

[LEGO IDEAS] Island Of The Imperial Soldiers
Marooned Marin replied to Wolf_King's topic in Pirate MOCs
@Wolf_King thank ye for your answers! Since you are about to re-build the raft, may I point you to this wonderful topic inside the forum where you can steal, ahem, borrow some ideas: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/189276-rafts-rafts-rafts/ How many pieces went into this creation? I know the limit for Ideas is 3,000. Are you around that number? -
[LEGO IDEAS] Island Of The Imperial Soldiers
Marooned Marin replied to Wolf_King's topic in Pirate MOCs
Oh I will, we will make a mighty fine blog-post out of this. @Wolf_King you have my support on Ideas Q1: How long did it take to make this? Q2: What was your inspiration for this build, other than Barracuda bay, some other LEGO set or MOC, or this idea simply appeared in your mind? Q3: Any backstory what happened here, how did the pirates end up in prison, while attacking with their puny raft - or - the raft is used for the most daring prison break? Tell us more -

[MOC] Pirate Fortress (warning: many pictures)
Marooned Marin replied to Captainlegobrick's topic in Pirate MOCs
Oh do not worry, I will... You see, to make the blog-post even better, you will be tortured asked a hundred or so few questions during our cruel and disturbing Q&A session at the dungeon below Governor's mansion. #GoodTimes -
I see similarities with tavern on Van Dyke Island, but nevertheless, it's great to see some of your simpler older works. The last picture is interesting, you made whole harbour with lot of action, the building on the right looks like the first preliminary version of the Redbeard's house Is this build still alive? I mean, the whole harbour?

[MOC] Pirate Fortress (warning: many pictures)
Marooned Marin replied to Captainlegobrick's topic in Pirate MOCs
I saw this, months ago, on your Instagram (I think). Also saw you pack it for shipment, I guess this is the castle that went with the Black Pearl to Brazil. Just amazing. I love the 'shark' silhouette You really don't fool around when it comes to building giant MOCs, it's impressive and definitely worth writing about on the Classic-Pirates.com in the near future. -
Well... out of place or not, there is no need to hide the images with spoilers, so don't be shy and show us more of your work so far.
