Very nice indeed, really like your work ! You got some nice skills there

I do not think that you will have a hard time finding it, because it is still in production.

Wow, many thanks for the answer Jim ! The things you have written enlighten me and i think i understood what i have to to to improve my photography skills. I must say, i didn't know about the AV model. It is true, i always set the aperture to small values, but i had no idea what that setting was (should have studied that). I will invest some money and buy a backdrop and some lights, as i have a tripod. Again, many many thanks ! I have joined the RA and i have read the topic about photography there too, but did not really get it. I just have built the 42028 Dozer and i thought of doing a review on it but i was disappointed by the picture quality and i let it go . PS: That 600D is a dream for me

I keep all my sets on display and i do not have any problems with them, i keep them far away from sunlight and i must say that all the stickers are in perfect shape, even on my 8285 set that has been assembled for some years.

Best Technic Set
Freekysch replied to Pauger's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I really like 8258, 8043 and 8285 ! 42009 is great too, but the first three are the best ! Ps: i would say 8109 is great too for a mid-range set. -

So guys, i found a nice lot on my local market and the guy who is selling posted 3 pics and i was wondering is there are any sets in there you recognize. I think there are some old (pre 90s sets) in there but i can't figure it out. So, is it worth to buy ? Here are the pics and thank you in advance !

The best option for you is to find a 8110, they are still in stores but not for a long time so i would hurry !

I have to agree with Jim, the obvious choice is 8258. It looks awesome, it is a great parts pack, it has nice functions (yea, i know, the crane is weak but for esthetic purposes it works very well), 8 wheels, lots of read panels, etc. I am a big fan of 8285 too, but buy this only if you love the design, because it lacks of Technic functions. PS: get 8043, imho it is the father of all Technic sets ! (from 2000 - till now)

8110 is a great set and if you still find in stores you should get it. But if i were you i would look for some earlier sets, like 8258 or 8043. In my opinion, if you find them at good prices these are the sets to get and with little luck you will get them in the second hand market at a decent price.
