  1. TRU may be the only "retailer" to sell this set in the US, but LEGO should sell it on there website.
  2. TRU told me today that a set only has to be available in one of it's stores for it to show up on the website. My local TRU checked the other stores in their region and only one store in Chicago had them. Four to be exact. LEGO's official release date is March, so we have a few more weeks I think. Besides, LEGO Shop will be cheaper than TRU's jacked price.
  3. I have a set of the Two Face Off-road tires, they are great.
  4. You could always build it in black. Those panels are easier to come by.
  5. If I understand this correctly, it isn't necessary to completely drain it before a recharge.
  6. A lot of my PF parts come from models I bought. 8043 ext. If I need something else then I'll order through LEGO Direct. Their prices are by far the lowest. I'm waiting for them to start selling Servo and L motors this March. I've spent no more than 50 USD of PF parts exclusively.
  7. Very impressive as usual! I've reverse engineered a couple models before, but it's a LONG process for me. I usually have MANY more pictures to work with too. Awesome job!
  8. I'll build the 42009, but it will probably end up as parts. Same with 42008. I'll get two of these for the green . I'm a car guy, so the 42000 will be built and displayed.
  9. I agree in part. When I started in Technic two+ yrs ago, most sets were averaging $.10/piece. 42009, 42008, and 42000 are the sets on my list. I believe they fall into this range +/-. However, the 42005 and 42007 are WAY over priced. I can't justify buying the 42007 at that cost, just for new tires. The 8051 for 2010 had 467 pcs for the same price as 42007 with 253 pcs! Not to mention it's a better set. Well, there's my two cents. None of it really matters I guess. People will still buy LEGO, even if some things are overpriced. It's LEGO after all.
  10. Holy #@$% that's awesome! What a time saver!
  11. Thanks! I thought the suspension was your "S" version. It works great for me though. I have a lot of carpet and "obstacles" to drive on. I am interested in the "GT" suspension too. I'll take more pics tomorrow. My front suspension is a little different than yours, and the front is too. Thanks again.
  12. Well, I guess I don't need those instructions now... I had never used an RC motor before. I'm very impressed. This thing flies! (on the slower output, even) I only have the big AA battery box and its in the back, so the truck does wheelies! Thanks for the build rm8.
  13. Yes, please make instructions.
  14. I was told that the 5x11 orange panels were licensed, and therefore could not be sold to me. There is no limit on the no. of parts per line item.
  15. I was thinking the same thing. This is probably the same scale as the 8109 flat-bed.
  16. The Quad bike was from last year, and even from this small picture you can tell it's not the 9392.
  17. I think the weight issue can be resolved by adding the PF (battery box).
  18. This is a great looking car! However, (quote) Issues: The overall look is good, the front is badass, but the other parts (such as the rear) is nothing interesting You're wrong. The rear is awesome. Very original and it fits the car well. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Another LEGO site has put the competition on its front page. http://www.brickset.com/
