  1. You don't need to tell me, it's your design! Can't wait to see it. -Mike
  2. (BUMP) Just wanted to show the "alternate" color scheme I built. Inspired by Nathaniel Kuipers Compact Car, and Crowkillers Mustang. Supercar Deluxe II Supercar Deluxe II (Links are different pics.) -Mike
  3. Love the model, love the design, love the colors!! Great MOC! I hope instructions are to follow... -Mike
  4. This is a great alternate model! It deserves instructions. Great job!
  5. Good choices. I have some experience with Supercars... I have all of Crowkillers cars on display(two Vampire's, red & black), Jovel's Black Dragon, Eric Leppen's Pagani Zonda, and Nathaniel Kuipers Concept Car. Those sets are a good start. I wouldn't go with the 8071, but another 8070 instead. Good luck.
  6. The Brickshelf folder is now live, compact car
  7. This car looks awesome! Can't wait for instructions.
  8. 8043 does crawl, but the payoff is the build. Fun and complex. The gearbox is amazing! I've been out of my 20+yr dark ages for about 18 months now and the two most enjoyable builds were 8043 and 8069 (and I'm a supercar guy ). The 8069 is packed with manual functions and you will learn alot. The 8043 is near the end of it's production, and the MOG will be around at least until 2013. However, your color pool will be very limited with either one. I say go crazy, I have a HUGE collection of parts now. Maybe too much......NEVER!!!!!
  9. Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to mention. Support this on CUUSOO!!!
  10. (BUMP) Alright everyone, It's Time To Give Back And Help Make a Child's Wish Come True... Up for Charity Auction is my All new Custom Built Lego Technic 2012 Vampire GT Supercar This model was constructed from over 1,900 Brand New Lego Parts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/270979582067?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1431.l2649 Here's your chance to own a Black Vampire GT!
  11. Yeah. Sorry LEGO, I'd rather have my kids play with realistic looking tanks instead of some of those. Just how I feel.
  12. Sorry Omikron, LEGO Direct doesn't have any of these tires and wheels in stock. They've been out for years. Unless you can find someone who has some (other than BL), you're going to have to give up that kindey. I hear that people live long, productive, full lives with only one kidney. I think you'll be o.k.
  13. Tough choice: # 2- 2 votes # 8- 3 votes #13- 2 votes Good luck to all. -Mike
  14. Crowkiller's has done a variety of seats in his cars. I think it's a personal preference, unless the MOC you are building is of an actual car, then try to model them after the real ones. Remember, YOU are the only one who needs to be happy with them. -Mike
  15. I agree with Rodeown. Mine was the same. Was, it's now been sacrificed for parts. Great build and a fun set though. -Mike
  16. I have two words... Exquisite... Stunning... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/crowkillers/Porsche997GT3/p800.jpg
  17. Mine was the 8448. This was the set that brought me out of my "dark age". It wasn't the first set I got, but just seeing it had me searching the web and discovering LEGO all over again. I was lucky enough to recieve one, complete, as a gift! The excitement of that moment may be surpassed when I'm finally able to get an 8466. Anyone have one for sale? - Mike
  18. I talked to Paul (Crowkiller) on the phone earlier today and he said it was a wiener. Very convincing...
  19. @ Nico... Here's a picture for you. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/camaro365/Crawler/100_3187.jpg I had to use red panels and the soft shocks. I don't own a Unimog. (yet) The soft shocks work ok, but I'll switch them to the 'Mog shocks when they get here. I had to modify the back a little due to parts I didn't have. Very nice MOC my friend. I've built your Jeep and Roadster also. Thanks for all the hard work, again.
  20. I have to agree with you effe... Great work on the Tug btw.
  21. Boy am I glad I don't have to worry about this. I'm just a dumb vendor who likes to "play" with toys and video games.
  22. I have never met anyone face to face, but I know of two other Technic guys within a couple of hours of me. One north and one south. However, I have several friends who are not builders that think the stuff we build is really cool. I don't know any System people, unless I know them by way of Technic. I have also noticed that the comments come from our forum, mostly. Usually the same group of guys. I'm guilty of that too. I browse the other forums, but never leave comments. I don't leave many comments here, for that matter.
  23. I just finished building this yesterday. I'm only waiting for the motor(s) to arrive in the mail. Renders look amazing as always Blakbird.
