  1. Awesome Supercar! I've built the Sunbeam and the Little Devil, I can't wait to build this. Mike Just ordered the instructions!
  2. You could always buy one from this guy... http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=ToyBrickBrigade&itemID=37362614 I've seen worse prices...
  3. They haven't made 13's and 14's in white, yet. Check out the pics of the new F1 car for next year, they're on the way.
  4. I drove a Hummer for five years in the ARMY. I recognised it right away. Great job! I look foward to the finished model.
  5. I'll be using this site a lot as a builder. I can't wait for this to be up and running.
  6. I buy first for the model, then for the parts. I don't buy every model, every year. Just the ones I really like. I, however, will buy any Technic model if it's a great deal cost to parts ratio. Rare, bulk, and specific color parts are available through S@H and BL. -Mike
  7. This car is AWESOME!!! I am absolutely blown away. IMO the triple air filter was the better choice. The attention to detail is amazing. Perfect in every way! I wish I could vote more than once! Excellent!! -Mike
  8. I've built this car, it has an extremely low profile. I don't think it translates to the render that well. The render looks great as always (no offense Blakbird), but the car looks slightly off.
  9. Thanks Alasdair! I was looking in the wrong place @ LEGO.com.
  10. A little off topic, but I can't find the 8043 B-Model instructions anywhere. Could someone post the link please? -Mike
  11. I would guess that if you order a reciever, you'll recieve V2. They are shipping them with 8043.
  12. Can't notice them!? I noticed them right away. I am a Supercar guy, though. The MOD's are very well done. I MOD many of my sets, and there truely is a fine line between keeping the integrity of the set or destroying it. Well done indeed. -Mike
  13. Agreed! I'm 37, and have been back for a couple of years. After a 20+ yr dark age! This place will teach you alot.
  14. I also spoke to lego direct about the new motors. I was told to wait until they were available on the S@H website, even if they become available through customer service. Reason: The motors will be considerably less expensive once they hit the website. Example: The M-motor is $7.49 on the website, but almost $20 if you call and give them the part#. A rep told me this. I don't know the reason for the $ difference, but I guess I'm waiting until March.
  15. @mahjqa; You've got mail, again. I took Pauls advice and sent it as a "gift". Thanks for making the instructions. In fact, thanks to all who take the time and effort to make them.
  16. Lose the white. Stick with two "main" colors, add a third for "accent". Everyone wants to leave the new white panels on. Unless you add more white up front, take them off and use them for another project. I really like the black and yellow...
  17. I tried to use a 20% off a purchase of $75 or more, online only, but it didn't work. I think 'cause you get the free Ninjago set w/$75 or more. Figures...
  18. @DLUDERS... Could you please post a picture of the Two-Face tires on the LEGO rims? If you haven't already. Thanks, - Mike Never mind, I found it...
  19. This happened with the 9397. Paul is right. They contacted me a day later and said my card wasn't charged and I would have to wait 'til the release. I think I was on the tail end of the orders, so DLuders, you should be ok if you did indeed get the confirmation e-mail. Good luck to all. -Mike
  20. I agree. Patience. Something that's in short supply now-a-days.
