    @Jurgen: A little off-topic, do you use the "Lego" $25 charger for your 8878, or a cheaper version (aftermarket)? I don't want to spend that much for the charger. That's the only reason I haven't bought one yet. What is the "life" of one of these batteries? Thanks

    I'm not a big construction equipment guy, but this is really cool. Great job on the MOC and the instructions!

    You don't need to build any sets to sell them on eBay. Just use the inventories and gather the pats, then use a stock photo. You should be able to get quit a lot for the complete sets. Then sell the rest in lots, ie: PF, lift arms, connectors, axles, or mix them. Should be the fastest way. Unless you get a GREAT offer for the whole collection. I believe there is a forum for sales on EB.

    He didn't release instructions, but you should be able to reverse engineer it. I did. It didn't take too long.

    I was surprised too. I had forgotten how well braced this car was. I had the same issue as you, pulling things apart, rebuilding, etc. I have it on display next to my 8448. Looks great.

    He replaced the battery box with the AA box at the end of the video. It fits right in the back. You can go without lights.
