  1. Yes it is. That's what the competition was about! Create a different shell for the 9398. http://technic.us.lego.com/en-us/Campaign/Howtoenter/Default.aspx
  2. Mine did the same thing. I thought maybe it was the "teeth" catching on each other. After repeatedly failing to get it to work properly, I finally changed the air cylinder in the claw. Problem solved. I was lucky enough to have an extra one, though.
  3. C'mon man! You're a "Guest Blogger" on the Technic Designers site. ( http://technic.lego.com/en-us/Designers/Bios/Default.aspx ) Pull some strings!
  4. Mission accomplished. Well done.
  5. You asked the largest group of LEGO Technic builders/collectors on the planet what to sell? None of us would sell any of our stuff , so the common answer will be "sell nothing". I will take that 8466 off your hands though.
  6. Looks like the instructions just went live!
  7. Parts lists are free, instructions are still 20 euros.
  8. The problem is the prices on BL and ebay are super inflated. Why release the motors in an official set, but wait almost a year to sell them individually?
  9. Thank YOU for a great supercar to add to my collection. I was more than happy to "help".
  10. Sounds like a great idea and a fair price. Count me in.
  11. Check the older threads in the forum. A couple guys made videos of their 9398 in action.
  12. This is a great parts set. I had a gift card for TRU and my local store had two in stock. I bought one there and another from a Dutch seller on BL for 79 Euros.
  13. Get it from TRU on-line. $199.00 + free shipping.
  14. I don't know where you're from, but TRU in the USA has the 8043 marked down to $199. (They basically took off their mark-up.)
  15. How about these? http://www.bricklink.com//catalogItem.asp?P=57539 http://www.bricklink.com//catalogItem.asp?P=75c19 http://www.bricklink.com//catalogItem.asp?P=75c18 , these are a little short to be used for 18L flex axles, but they work in a pinch.
  16. I'm in Michigan, too. There are several of us Michiganders here. Welcome to EB!
  17. I didn't use lights on mine.
  18. Yeah, it only uses the 8070 (+ a few PF). It's a really good model.
  19. I just went to the link and hit the download "button at the bottom of the page but couldn't download the instructions.
  20. I hope so! Thanks for the comparison pics. This really puts it all together.
