  1. Why not build it with spare parts. There's nothing "rare" in it. 8466. Just the images of that set brought me out of my dark ages. Someday maybe......
  2. When was the last time you tried? A friend of mine bought the last ones, or so he was told... They are switching to the new style.
  3. I just checked and the length from ball joints to the tip of the pins is the same. You'll just have to figure out a different way to mount them to the model. FYI, the new hubs are NOT as sturdy as the old style. (More "wobble")
  4. Anyone found the PDF instructions? I want to build it with my existing parts.
  5. Yeah, not available yet, though.
  6. I tried to use LDD, but the program 1) takes FOREVER to make instructions, and 2) doesn't build in a "sensible" order. Ex. floating pins/parts, jumps around. I basically reverse engineered mine using LDD's hide feature mostly. It took a long time. It took me just as long to do this one, using the program, as it took me to make Crowkiller's Porsche from pics.
  7. Great renders as always, Blakbird. Good choice on this one. I built it a while ago, it's awesome. Very well constructed and it looks great next to all my other Supercars.
  8. Grohl has quite a few animals on his Brickshelf. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=grohl666&n=48
  9. This set IS awesome. Not THAT awesome. I already own 2 9398's, so I'll just build the Boss in a different color scheme.
  10. Fake suspension? Where? Looks "working" to me.
  11. 42008 is a good parts pack. Quite a few red 15L liftarms.
  12. How did this happen? http://www.ebay.com/...=item1c351afbff Must be a top 100 winner?
  13. Followed. I have this built and on display also. I just don't have a good camera/set up to take/post pictures.
  14. I've noticed this also. Most of the red parts are usually in the chassis and/or frame of vehicles. What happened to flex axles, too?
  15. This model is amazing. You've heard all the praise for your ship, the photography is top notch also. Bravo on both counts. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Thanks for the link! I've been looking for these for a while now. I just ordered two.
  17. TRU in Northern Michigan sold me the 42008 for $139 USD.
  18. I'll probably build two! One with dark blue stickers , and one with white.
  19. I have to agree here. I have thousands of parts and already own the 9398. I and can't justify another $200 USD for basically another one. I love the color, including all the flat silver pieces, but my budget won't support it. I just picked up the 42008 yesterday. It was an "impulse buy", but one I'm happy with. I wanted the green, and it is the only 2H set that really interests me. I'll probably build it, then tear it down and use it for parts.
  20. I believe in an earlier post he said no to instructions, but yes to detailed pics when he takes it apart. Edit: Too slow.
  21. I... It's... That's... How?... Where?... What? ... Incredible.
  22. Yes, Thanks a lot! edit: TRY to reverse engineer it!
