Is it trapezoidal in shape? Wonder if it could be the 100th Medallion: Perhaps it isn't? If the Cinderella castle gets made in its pink and blue color finish, I have very dim hopes that the Sleeping Beauty castle will ever get made - the SB castle is smaller, less iconic, and in the same colors. [sigh]

Which princesses are we missing, or are likely to be in that set? Missing: Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Merida, Rapunzel. Perhaps a repeat: Sleeping Beauty in blue, Ariel, Jasmine. I would never buy anything with minidolls. Which princesses will be on that other set for the minidoll line??? Really hoping for Wendy. I would like that ship that Brick Clicker suggested but it may require a larger piece count. Ditto, ditto, ditto. Wonder if there will be some villains or supporting characters? E.g., fairies, or lumière, etc. On the one hand, it makes sense that they re-make the 'flagship' castle in the repainted anniversary colors for the 100th celebrations, but I prefer they should just make the Sleeping Beauty castle. They just retired the main castle not too far back. Too early for a remake1 Maybe this will be based on the upcoming remake?

That unicorn knight is just odd... bordering on a character from a bizarre horror movie. I usually get all BAMs but will totally skip it this time.

I feel like some indication is not impossible. But I also think it is still too early to tell. It did sell well, it seems, when it first came out, and perhaps Lego is looking at how the set will fare over the next coming months as well. I feel that they may not only be testing the waters in terms of the theme of LOTR itself, but also how the market received such a style of building (choice of Rivendell - never made in that scale before), and how people reacted to the price point (they will probably consider this in determining the size of the next project). I feel Rivendell was perfect. Expensive but worth it. The price may deter a lot of people from buying right away, but I am hoping a lot more will buy eventually.

Totally agree! I feel like that as far as buyers go, there are much less kids and more adults who have seen the movies during the years they were released. So play sets should really just be "add-ons" and not the main line.

Thanks for the suggestion. I could not get myself to use the skirts from my minifig collection to be messed up by starching spray, so I had to order some spare from BL...we'll see if it works. If it is indeed a Princess/ minidoll 'castle' then this will save me a good deal of money! LOL And it will still make sense for them to release a castle (Sleeping Beauty castle, perhaps). Isn't 43215 titled "minidoll park"??? And 43221 is a 6+ set?

I feel that from now on, Lego should at the very least, make 1 D2C, 1 small play set complementing the former, and 1 battle pack EACH year moving forward.

It seems the Minnie figure from the Anniversary Train 43212 will have the soft fabric for a skirt. I wonder why Lego decided this was the way to go and not the previous molded plastic skirt? This fabric skirt just doesn't hold its shape. Anyone been able to starch it to hold its shape?

Sooo expensive!!! Lucky you! ;) I still haven't received my Rivendell from Lego! Sigh. But will maybe wait for a MOC of an expansion on Rebrickable before I fully build the set.

With 43225 being a potential minidoll castle, could 43222 still be another castle? As much as I would very much like the Sleeping Beauty Castle, perhaps Main Street, or another attraction would be more likely? Then the castle would release later - perhaps when the Maleficent dragon vs Philip comes out. I wonder what 43227 and 43230 could be? I'm hoping that just because they are 18+, that they could possibly be minifigures instead of minidolls.

I am not buying it as well if it turns out to be a minidoll set. If it turns out to be minidolls, why would Lego force upon the minidolls to 18+ people??? People on this forum either hate them or don't particularly care about them. Then release the set with minidolls? There is that Ice Castle (14+) precedent so I am really curious if Lego will push it upon 18+ fans. The previous Castle btw, was labeled 16+. Is it still possible that the other remaining large set for this year be a Sleeping Beauty Castle???

I really hate all those MCU uniforms. I guess it works for Lego as one torso/ leg combo works for all. :(

Really, really, really hoping for the Sleeping Beauty Castle! Exactly! It could come with extras like the bridge, "moat", or park with the sculpture? Or even a vehicle or parade float?

Agree that Disney ought to release it this year. But perhaps they want to release it closer to the release of the movie. I do think that the Snow White story is significant enough as its own fairy tale, and in its role in Disney that it will sell on its own independent of the movie. Movies these days easily become controversial, and Disney should not let the release of the set get ruined by these controversies.

Is it possible to build the whole thing on a series of baseplates to make the entire set a bit more stable? I haven't built mine because I have not even received it from Lego yet!

I think to a good extent, Lego is trying to ride on the wave of Rings of Power, or at least how much it references the LOTR/ Hobbit movies. I can't imagine Lego missing out on the opportunity as ROP continues with its other seasons.
