    I think this light tan and dark blue is also a very nice color variation! The pizzeria in gray looks a bit brutalist. Perhaps if it were dark orange, it would evoke more of the brick oven and perhaps look better.

    If Lego were to keep each in house series at 18 and increase the price to keep it at that, would it really be 50% more in cost? Perhaps it was less but Lego just wanted to round it off to a dozen. At any rate, just 12 a series is too few!!!

    Looking at the roster of 12 CMFs makes them look sparse and a bit 'lonely' compared to when they were 18/ set. I do not think they will ever return to 18/set (except for this upcoming Disney 100th). So perhaps Lego should just do two in-house theme CMFs every other year. That way they will still average out 18/ year.

    Do all of the Disney-licensed Lego sets eventually make it to the Disney shop? I have only ever shopped for Disney-themed Lego items on Lego.com.

    That, and maybe Encanto has just been too recent? The Madrigal House is still listed on the Lego web site.

    Thinking about it more, could it be perhaps that there’s a 19th minifig randomly placed inside certain boxes? If that is the case, that would definitely be cruel!

    After looking at the list of previous Disney animations, I do wonder if Dumbo or Bambi will feature in any other set - those are pretty iconic movies too. What do they mean? Like another princess in a separate set? I'm betting Cinderella (perhaps to go with the new castle?).

    Some thoughts: -If they appear here in the CMF series, does that mean there won't be a set dedicated to them? And vice versa? With so many years of Disney, and 18-fig CMF and several sets don't seem to be enough! -I would've thought the three original princesses, Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty would be here in the CMF lineup. Okay, Snow White might need a house and some of the little people. But what about Cinderella? Or even Beauty and the Beast? -Stitch seems like a waste of real estate. I do not dispute it is good to have him in the 4-arms version, but that spot could have gone to another character. Exactly my thoughts when I first saw this list!!! Hoping it is really true!!! Hopefully not canceled! Could Cinderella come in a Castle? Makes sense if they make that one. Wonder if this will be a "big fig"? Agree. If the list is accurate, there has to be an explanation for the omissions.

    In the midst of all the Batman sets, they released a classic Batmobile. I hope they could perhaps consider this for Marvel. Kinda getting tired that all sets are MCU based with no reference to the original.

    Really hope Lego is watching this thread. The designer's original idea was great! Too many cooks spoil the broth.

    Putting the JC beside the Fire Brigade appears to justify that red color of the upper floors. Also, the Pizzeria does not look too out of place when beside the Detective's Office. But I think of all the color variations I have seen here, the best for me is the Dark Blue upper floors and keeping the Dark Azure for the facade of the lower floor on the JC. Other combinations also look better than the original. I really don't know what Lego was thinking during the design process, and the JC colors thus ended being so controversial! I feel like if they nailed the colors correctly, not many would have complained that it was an overall bland design.

    IIRC, in one of the interviews, the designer said that they had originally wanted the building to be predominantly blue, but other staffers felt it was too 'cold.' I actually think the dark blue building with that brighter blue ground floor facade looks really good, and tied in really well with the theme of 'Blues'

    I'm not a minidoll lover, but someone pointed out that those Disney Princess sets will be in the minidoll line. :(

    For the ‘classic animation’ sets coming up, could we expect them all to be ‘black and white’ sets like Steamboat Willie?

    We had two "in-house" theme CMF series last year. Did Lego do that because it was their 90th anniversary or are we going to get it every now and then?

    I do feel like we need more of the classics! I think that in between movie-related sets, Lego should release sets based on classics (e.g., comics).

    I don't know if sales on eBay or BL are any indication. Many eBay sellers have LT incomplete roster, some still have complete sets, compared to Muppets. On BL, there's only three pages of sellers with complete LT sets, but Muppets still has five. The cheapest LT complete set in the USA is about USD80+ but $60+ for Muppets. Not saying that it sold/ sells better than Muppets but it seems as though it IS selling.
