Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
I dunno about the UK, but I can tell you that in the US buying it online directly from Lego isn't bad at all. You get VIP points, and in the US free shipping for orders over $35. That's what I did, because I couldn't find the set in any TRU near me, and I'm due a birthday gift. -
Hmmm... Ivan, you do realize that Jockos' thread is the original one from 2015, and yours was the newer duplicate?

Hmmm, pretty sure we've already had a thread about this...

I was looking at the old UCS Death Star pics, and I can't find Tatooine Han in there at all either. If that's the case and I'm not missing it, I would say there is no reason to be concerned. -

The Obi-Wan figure is not new, right? I'm just happy about the new droids (that I can't find in the picture), Tarkin, and Han. -
If half of the bags are already opened, most potential buyers would not buy the set unless it was considerably reduced compared to a MISB set. That having been said, if nothing has been assembled yet (or used in any way), you might get away with selling it as a (heavily) discounted new set, but if you assemble it you can only sell it as a used set.

My wife is going to have a blast with these news. Especially now that she's a Harley Quinn fan after watching Suicide Squad. At least someone in our household will be getting the figs.- 3,020 replies

Lego and Pest Heat Treatment
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Brixit's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I had this happen to me in college. I only had a couple of bagged set parts and minifigs in Ziploc bags. I decided against risking my figures, so I set them aside. I might have left a CMF base in my room, but nothing happened to it. Sorry, I know how much of a nightmare those things can be. Maybe ask Lego directly. They're usually very helpful. -
Post Your Superhero Minifig Collections Here!

Bricklink numbers are not official, but they are widely used. Personally, I give each of my figures a code. Then I have an Excel spreadsheet with all the info for each figure using that code. It's really easy to maintain. I only put the code in the bag if I want to distinguish identical minifigs. -

Just so you know, Hulk Smash has historically been a very reliable source. So, when he says it'll be minifigs, you can pretty much take that as a given.- 3,020 replies

CMF Series 17 Guessing Game
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm not really concerned about it being likely, I'm just imagining my ideal Da Vinci, which I'm adding to my guesses as wishful thinking. I will say though the existence of the artist doesn't diminish the possibility. We've had 4 different robots and 3 different clowns. I never knew that existed, even when I loved that theme when I was a kid! -

I'll change my guess and have Da Vinci come with a Vitruvian man drawing, Lego version! -
CMF Series 17 Guessing Game
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I don't think they would name it "Da Vinci" either, but that's just a matter of the name. The thing is it would be Da Vinci, just like the Julius Caesar figure is Julius Caesar, just without the name, but everyone knows who it is. And yeah, I'm also hoping for an Einstein at some point, although it is possible to make one out of parts that already exist, especially with those new Doc Brown pieces. But I digress. Keep guessing on. -

Yes! I'll be getting this new Han for sure! Plus, although the picture is blurry, he doesn't look like his face is over-detailed. -
CMF Series 17 Guessing Game

Plus Julius Caesar in another numbered series. Honestly, isn't that what the main topic of S17 is for? And given that you've already asked there, I think it's a given that there is nobody who knows anything and is willing to give us new info at the time. Besides, I honestly do not think that asking for info is going to yield anything new. Usually people inform because they want to, not because they are asked.
