^ That almost looks like it’d be mini figure scaled. Like a suit variant with his head underneath would be better suited than a mech. Just my opinion This is all speculation right? Far as I know there are no plans to make mechs for this theme, right? No offense but this list plays into the repetitive roster Lego has kept up these past few years and for that I think it is quite realistic. But 1. I don’t like this new Batgirl variant, or the current Freeze in circulation, and 2. I feel the mechs could be a great opportunity to give us some sort of new figures. Over all these, I think it’d be nice if they snuck a new fig in for the theme under a proposed supposed mech. Or make a highly lucrative figure available at that price. Namely Red Hood. I’d be happy to see a Deadshot or Deathstroke mech if it meant we got to see them again. I really hope this theme picks up steam one day. As a huge DC fan what’s currently happening to Warner Bros but mainly DC comics is quite painful to see. I want a Giganta, Apache Chief, Teen Titans based set. I hope one day we can see the volume and diversity of sets or at the least figures for this theme expand

This is a solid idea. I’ll say I think the more popular and classic movies should get sets but the smaller ones could get a vignette if the focus was to have some sort of representation for each film. Aristocats would naturally get a vignette under this proposal given the popularity of the film, but something like Dumbo or Snow White I reckon would warrant an actual set. And honestly with how huge and expansive Disney is they could make sets and still make a cmf series. For example, Snow White cottage with Snow White, 7 Dwarves and the Queen as a witch? Include the regular Queen in a cmf series. I wonder why Disney doesn’t get actual system scaled sets given how huge this theme is. If they don’t want to have figure scaled princess sets to compete with the mini dolls, there’s still so many other properties that would warrant sets. Like okay we can’t get figure scaled princess sets, but whats stopping them from tackling other films as sets? I do like this vignette idea for covering films we want representation of but don’t have set material. Lady and the Tramp for the spaghetti scene is a great example imo. A small garbage scenery for Wall-E also makes more sense than actually giving him a set. A lot of wishes have come true in recent years for other themes for me (Bo Katan in Star Wars, Stargirl and Mister Miracle in DC) so I have hope that maybe Lego will get around to producing more exciting content for this as well.

I just got an expensive set from a South Koreon seller with mixed reviews. I didn’t notice the bad until after placing the order. Shipping apparently takes very long with him and not everyone is satisfied with what they got and some got nothing. He says my Order is shipped but I got no tracking number. How ling should J wait given some customers waited 4 months for their package? How do I go about getting a refund and when would you say enough is enough in terms of waiting? On the one hand I may get this but looking at the seller with closer lens I’m growing anxious. Anyone have a similar experience with bricklink and sketchy sellers? It was the last sealed set selling to my region so Imm really tense about this order.
-
Is it currently available? I tried searching the Ghostbusters set it came in through pick a brick and the only hair pieces that came up were the ones for Dana Barrett, and Peter Venkman. Is it no longer available on pick a brick, or can I order this piece directly from Lego somehow? If it’s still available now I’ll gladly order it.
-
So a bit of an unusual question. I’m interested in buying the white tousled hair piece from the Ghostbusters set for my Storm figure. That said, I see a lot of cheap listings for this on bricklink. They have it as piece 20595. This piece only came in this set, so how could so many listings have it for so cheap? If it’s only inclusion was in a very expensive retired set? Could it be possible that this was available in the build a minifigure line? I mean I’m not sure how this could be so cheap otherwise.. thanks in advanced!
-
Really excited for 76420. That said I’m disappointed only one mermaid is set to be included. I am curious if they will use the older or newer Mermaid tail piece, and also feel this could be a great opportunity to include a webbed hand piece. You’d think if it didn’t come with the Swamp Creature from Monster Fighters/TLM2 they wouldn’t make it, but it’d be nice. I could see them using the 20595 piece in a bright orange for the Mermaid. Can you tell what figure I’m most excited to get for this set? Lol
-
Silly question but is there a build a minifigure section of the website? Or a way to order these pieces through the online brick finder? I guess I don’t mind going to a physical location for that Unikitty dress, the new Sheriff figure looks tempting, as does the Hippie torso and hair, but I’d love to be able to order said pieces online.

Crazy! These mechs must sell like hot cakes for them to not even include an exclusive Harley.. some confidence they have with this release… Batboat: I do wish there was at least one more new figure but at lease Bronze Tiget has Leg printing! That said his classic yellow costume or the variant of him where he has the actual Tiger Mask are still much more desirable and I doubt he’d turn the tides for me to buy this. a bricking Batgirl set! Crazy that Zazlov gutted the film but overlooked this piece of merchandise? Either Lego felt too much was invested not to sell it or he didn’t even notice. That said this is my first time hearing Firefly was set to be the villain, that sounds so fun. Hopefully some useful prints come with this. ughhh Lego I really hope eventually they see that this theme does deserve more than one literal set a year. Green skinned Ivy, Harley with the pigtail piece from Sweet Mayhem TLM2, figure scaled Clayface, figure scaled Killer Croc, Livewire, big fig comic Bane, Lucius Fox, Batwing, Scarface and Ventriloquist, the Mad Hatter, heck even Batman/Batwoman with proper boots. That’s right, they don’t just need dual molded legs, true Bat fans know the top of his boots is indented like a bat and that detail is still sorely missing from a Bat figure. Heck sven classic Black/Yellow or Grey/Blue Batgirl with modern printing techniques (she’d need dual molded legs and arms plus the printing) are ALL STILL DESPERATELY NEEDED! like we don’t even have the full roster of figs from the first Lego Batman game in physical form yet, forget the many Leaguers we still need. If they want to focus on Batman figs there’s still A LOT that is missing. I pray they start increasing the volume of sets and start throwing in new figures. I get that the big names need to make appearances but if Bronze Tiger can round out the one set we get next year, surely none of these suggestions are out of the ordinary.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
cosmic replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not really new news but wanted to drop some thoughts on 76193. First of all I love the exterior and the space for figs inside. That said, the Pod is canonically attached to the Benatar and there was an entire scene dedicated to Rocket and Thor leaving in said pod to forge the weapon Thor would eventually use in end game. So for this large version of the Benatar to not include said pod is quite disappointing. It was it’s own set back in the Infinity War wave and given it’s a huge part of the movie, I wish it had been included. Mantis also needs either leg/hip printing or a cloth piece for the tussles of green fabric that go down her legs. Thor also has a TERRIBLE face print and inaccurate hair piece. They wouldn’t even have to trademark it for Marvel it could be so reusable. First of all his half up half down hairdo in endgame would have looked GORGEOUS on a viking fig (male or female it’s such a gorgeous hairdo) and they have some Viking content coming up in Ideas. Heck even a city figure would look beautiful with a half up half down it could be so reusable and profitable for them. But this Aquaman hair is clearly wrong. There’s so much to nitpick with this set. and then you factor in how inaccurate the Shuri was in 76186. I said it before and I’ll say it again, she should have had leg printing for the detailing on her pants, and a green cloth piece for that gorgeous (olive?) toned skirt she sported for this look. Also this hair do was a bun up top with a braid down the back so either printing of the braid or a new hair piece would have done. It felt like such a let down that she missed so much of the detailing given this was actually a very colorful look and the fig came out mostly dark blue and it felt like a waste. Especially given the budget for this went to the Eternals figures and honestly who cares about them lol yeah I may not buy too much MCU content but sets like this are not the way to win me over lol. Who’d have thought the Infinity War wave would still look this good all these years later? Edit: before anyone tells me yes I am aware of the Qui Gon Jin hair piece. But honestly? It’s mid and a specialized mold for the hairdo Thor had in Infinity War is justified both by it’s reusability and with how freaking huge this license is. The Infinity Saga sets felt like a huge miss minus the Iron Man 1 set. -
Completely agree. I do hope Disney overrides Lego and opts for the bags. I can imagine they have some sort of say in it. I was surprised to see Marvel got 12 figs considering the endless possibilities. It’d make no sense for them to increase the fig count and go with boxes, it’s like catering to fans while also disregarding another sentiment of theirs. I’m very interested to see how this plays out. Literally my biggest wish. I reason they haven’t because a bulk of said sets would be Disney princess based and they can’t compete Disney princess sets with figs against the mini doll sets as they’d be cutting into their own profit. Which also kind of makes no sense because admitting this is admitting there’s a huge if not bigger portion of people willing to buy princess sets with figs instead of dolls. as for your sentiment of hoping we get as many one offs as possible, I agree Cruella, Mary Poppins and even Tarzan would be great contenders , but Snow White? Besides the Evil Queen, all 7 Dwarves and (considering it’s the very first) even the prince feel like must have’s for the theme. Not to mention the Queen in her evil witch variant. There’s even something to be said that fans who’d buy Tarzan would be just as willing to buy Jane. My dream is for a Lego Pinocchio set. Or two. Geppetto’s workshop with Fairy Godmother, Pinocchio, Geppetto, and Figaro. A set with the whale and some of the Donkeys from Pleasure Island. And of course a set of Strombolli, and his carriage with performance scene. Maybe include the girl doll Pinocchio duetted “no strings” with. If they don’t do mini fig Princess sets to avoid cutting sales for the mini doll line, whatever. But Pinocchio and Dumbo? Who wouldn’t buy Lego sets for these?!!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 23. Rumors and discussion
cosmic replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Incredible head! Mind me asking where this is from? Is this a pick a brick /BAM piece? Hope it’s not too old.. yes I admitted the sentiment was a bit absurd. That said even if it’s hidden I’d like my fig to be canonically snowman fig not a costumed fig so I will go the extra mile of finding the piece suggested above. Even if it’s out of sight. I’m operating on a technicality. -

Very minor critique but I hate the idea of my snowman being a costumed figure so I plan on just swapping his zipped face for a plane white head. He will be a real snowman figure, not a costume. So ridiculous lol -
It actually makes me emotional. From the mistreatment lf the franchise for the past decade, to the new merger seemingly gutting a lot of existing content, it’s hard tk be a DC fan these days. I agree with some of the following sentiments. I agree completely. We still need a mini figure scaled Clayface, Batwing, Lucius Fox, green skinned Ivy, Arkham style goons (or just goons with a specialized clown mask mold, it’d be canon), Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Baby Doll, Nora Freeze, or Black Mask. pair any combo of those villains with a popular Batman villain, and throw in any combo of the many leaguers missing. We all have our preferences but Fire, Ice, Red Tornado, and Doctor Fate will remain top of my list. And call me a dreamer but the Justice League Dark would be nice to see too. Yes Lego HAS done this approach before. But it’s stagnated and regressed to mostly just Batman content (and not much of it). Not sure what it’ll take but I hope this theme turns a tide. With the new merger at DC maybe the new heads will want to push stronger merchandise? We should star a twitter campaign or something for the new heads of DC to reconsider their merchandising approach and to push them to have a stronger presence. I could see a wave of tweets catching somebody’s eye honestly. edit: and before anyone says anything I am aware that I sound idealistic. But social campaigns targeted towards editors and artists and creators have managed to gain conversation and sometimes action for a variety of situations in the past. Be it celebrities shading rude tweets or actual production studios re-editing an entire movie (looking at you, Sonic) there’s something to be said about the power a collective group of voices could have.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
cosmic replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Lol What a waste. on the bright side, I definitely won’t buy this. I get to save $500. On the other hand, its kind of a punch to the gut. They have more faith in this than an X-Mansion? Call me crazy, I think an X-Mansion, Avengers Tower or Mansion (comic based) would have sold much better than this. It hasn’t released yet and these are hypothetical so we can’t really measure this but I reckon an Avengers or Xmen related set would do better. and I know I say this every year but I really want a comic based Guardians of the Galaxy set. Namely for the original team, so I can have an OG Yondu and Starhawk. Also gonna ask for a comic based Scarlet and Vision (classic) and Wasp (modern and classic please, adore her new red and black suit). Tis all. -
@1414falconfan on insta just posted the same thing and he is extremely reliable. He’s a leaker I tend to believe. Anywhom, so exciting !! My thought is, if 23 is the last series to get bags, would these be releasing in boxes? Any chance Lego will stick to bags amidst all the backlash? If anything maybe Disney can put their foot down and demand plastic bags for their series. naturally I want Lego sets for Disney movies and just figures is kind of limiting, I’d surely throw money at a Lilo & Stich, Tangled, or Pinocchio figure scaled set. But if the cmf series is the closest we get, I’d pray we finally get Pinocchio. With Ariel in series 1, and Jazmine/Elsa/Anna in series 2, I think I’m most excited to see what princesses we get. Fingers crossed for Pocahontas and Cinderella. But again I would throw money at actual sets for these as well.
-
I would love for this to happen! But honestly, considering DC is only getting one set this year, and it’s a 4+ set? And also how little the theme has gotten in general these past few years? If lego doesn’t see a $40 set as profitable they make no sense making a large D2C for said unprofitable theme. I’m almost certain it’s going to Marvel. That said if I was being idealistic and thinking of what DC would get, I would guess the Watchtower before the Hall of Doom for sure. Now while I think the Watchtower is more likely, I would prefer the Titans Tower, and would also gladly welcome the Hall of Doom. But regardless I still think it’s wishful thinking to think it would go to DC. Although, I guess I wouldn’t be mad if it did (unless it‘s another oversized bat vehicle for display with 2 figures).

Why all the hate for Legends of Chima?
cosmic replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I love this set and this opinion lol. i was absolutely in love with Chima when it came out and I am so grateful my parents got me the Star Wars/Superheroes sets I requested as a kid in those years as honestly they were higher priority but along with Monster Fighters this is one of those themes I am so excited to collect off bricklink as I wanted this so bad as a middle schooler. that said, it did have its flaws. The first wave was amazing and the second year held up well as well. However I feel they focused too long on the fire/ice subtheme. Vultrix’s set was like the only good thing to come out of that last wave and easily could have replaced one of the many ugly ice builds in the prior winter wave. The fire Phoenix temple and Mammoth walker sets were great but after that most of the fire and ice builds felt repetitive, too focused on vehicles whereas prior waves balanced both vehicles, mechs, structures and scenery. Additionally, many fogures of the last wave were repeats and the few new figures such as the bears felt underwhelming as we only got them in their fire suits and not as their regular tribes the way we got for the lions/crocs/rhino’s in the first two waves. Also the builds for the final wave were so uninspired and just downright ugly, the first few years were good but they spent too long on that subtheme and it showed as the final sets were so uninspired. that said there’s almost no more new sealed versions of Rogons rock flinger which is so depressing that was one of my top sets I wanted for this theme when it first released its always a race against time with lego to get sealed versions of sets you missed out on its mildly infuriating lol. -
I been out of work for the past few weeks for reasons I won’t get into but my god I am so anxious to get the HQ and potentially the mech before they retire. I heard Flower Mountain will retire this year too, and paired with the retiring ideas/Ninjago sets I still have to get, I feel the clock racing for me to get the little I want of this theme. For context I do desire the Lantern City, Heavenly realms, Flower Fruit Mountain, HQ boat and Mech sets so while I may not want a lot what I do want is in no way cheap and I got a race against time to collect it. That said this theme has some amazing $100+ sets.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 23. Rumors and discussion
cosmic replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for clarifying, I was confused and somewhat expecting this series to have been the one to introduce boxes. I’ll say this, Vidiyo came in boxes but the bandmates were sold in boxes of 24 with one side containing the entire series. If they continue this I may not mind the boxes too much, as I may be able to do what I did for bandmates series 1 and wait for a new box to be put out and simply grab one side to get the entire collection. Where this becomes tricky, is that I likely won’t want the full collection and Lego does switch the order up so while you may now one side of 12 has the whole collection, the order in which they are placed is likely not consistent. But at the least this is the only way I can currently reconcile with this decision. I appreciate the legs for mobility, but yeah a molded done that connects at the hip sorta like a skirt piece would have been ideal. Definitely a terrible series. Looking back at series 18 I didn’t mind that costume series so much. I repurposed the red dragon suit guy to be an actual minifig demon, the cactus suit girl was tempting because, swapping her head out for a green head and maybe playing around with the legs would have made her a great giant cactus to spread around a western layout. The plant suit girl was similarly easy to repurpose for a poison ivy living potted plant creature henchmen thing. The cake suit guy could be used to recreate the Harley popping out of the cake scene from Batman the animated series. this series however… not so much. Even the figures that could be repurposed (green dragon/wear wolf guy) are not tempting because I have a wear-wolf already and will soon own both Vidiyo dragons so there’s no need. Tied with series 20 for my worst series ever, I only plan on getting the Elf, Snowman, and Nutcracker. I do have to say however, the sea captain is tempting. I may get him and display him on his own as a fellow captain to befriend my S10 captain, and maybe use the boat as a diorama of sorts. -

Some thoughts on the leaks from these past few weeks/months; • 75336 - love the figures and space inside the build. Reminds me a lot of Krennic and Kylo’s ships for some reason. Have yet to watch Kenobi but would get this set even if I never watched the show because I need those inquisitors. Also love how all 3 are in one set • 75333 - considering Lego’s love of reusing new molds where they can, and the fact that Taun-We appeared on Kamino along with being on the show the Bad Batch, I feel as tho I may be able to skip on this set and wait for her to be included elsewhere as I’m honestly not feeling this build. Really hope she comes in a Kamino clone factory set with Jango and maybe another of her species potentially. But besides her this set falls flat for me • 75338 I’m gonna be honest, I intend to bricklink the Rogue One wave so I don’t see myself needing this set as I will get Cassion Endor elsewhere. That said. The detailing on the inside of the ship is very nice and also confusing as the build itself looks quite small and it makes you wonder how they managed to get all that in there. Not bad but something I’ll pass on in this economy lol • 75323 - Cadbane and Omega are amazing figures and the build may be beautiful but yeah this set feels so expensive and I can see how some people feel upset because they have to choose wisely what to collect based on their income. They may really want Cadbane but I could see how this can feel out if reach in the context of Lego collecting as a whole. -
10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
cosmic replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Really late to the part but holy cow this set is amazing!! So excited to eventually purchase this I hope it stays on shelves for at least 3 years. Some thoughts; • the use of the Egyptian warriors head robe for a medieval maiden translated so well and is a brilliant unexpected part use that I appreciate a lot • a micro lego castle in the upper floor to pay homage to the classic line is simultaneously the most ridiculous and adorable detail I’ve seen in a while • I was definitely taken aback by how many girl knights there are but I agree with the sentiment that in a set with a wizard, In the context of all the other fantastical elements the theme at large has presented over the years, complaining about the realism of girl soldiers is silly. That said I do imagine I likely will swap some heads hut this happens with all types of purchases • Love how the designers tried to emulate the architecture of real castles, the way it’s both fully complete, hinged and can close along with having a detailed interior plus it’s not a square? Incredible • disagree with those saying the $400 mark is excessive or a sign of inflation, this looks worth that price even ten years ago let alone now. So excites to get this set I completely think it’s worth the price and I do not say that about all expensive lego sets.- 2,976 replies

71033 LEGO Muppets CMF Series - Rumors & Discussion
cosmic replied to Borex's topic in LEGO Licensed
Completely agree! I understand there are youtube reviews and other websites so I am not completely deprived of a review series but I had so much respect for the tradition and sad to see it go. Got 6 figures for this series and am honestly astounded. This is one of those series where I had a familiarity with the brand beforehand, but not something I was into at all. Initially only wanting Kermit and Miss Piggy as they are so iconic, but caved and got Animal, Gonzo, Janice, and Fozzy Bear as well. Gotta say, I am oddly in love with these figures! I had a stronger attachment to DC as a brand but because so many of those figures felt like they could have been included in sets, if DC weren’t so neglected, made the series less impactful for me. I was huge on Disney as a kid, but disagreements with the head choices of some figures (Genie and Buzz come to mind) along with Disney drain left me not as stunned for those series. I won’t go down the list of all the licenses Lego has carried but this one, I had the least attachment to beforehand overall. But the amount of detail on these figures is incredible. So excited to get Sesame Street and have all these characters interact. feeling like I want the 2 old men in the balcony and Swedish chef so we’ll see if I cave for those. I’m gonna bounce them back and forth from being in my Palace Cinema, to the Friends theater that released this year. If I ever get into photography I could see those 2 being so fun to pose and add to different scenarios. Really shocked at how into these figs I was. -
Almost certain it will go to Marvel. The new bike is actually well built for a 4 plus set and Harley is alright I guess. I think they should use Sweet Mayhems pig tails in a dual mold for Harley sometime in the future. I think that is the best pig tail piece the company has would love them to use it for Harley. Also hope we eventually get her Hyenas with hing jaws ala the wargs from Lotr. Edit: by “it” I mean the mystery $500 set

Taun We looks perfect! So excited to get her! I will say I would rather have bought a 70-90 dollar Kamino base, or a Jango Fett starship over another Obi Wan star fighter, but she does save the set. I won’t buy it until after next year in the hopes that her mold is reused in a better set. Commander Cody sounds nice but I was really hoping we would see a new Jedi in the AT-TE. Feels like a missed opportunity to get wither Shaak Ti or someone of the sort. -

Just did my May the 4th shopping! Oddly satisfying that I did it on May 4th as well! I got my promotional AT-ST which was fine, but Lars Kitchen is definitely the highlight of this purchase! Had to get something to hit the $160 mark because before taxes the Bad Batch Shuttle and Mandolorian Starfighter did not meet the mark. Not mad because I used this as an opportunity to buy the Mandalorian’s Forge. Overall incredibly happy with this purchase and wow I just realized they have an entire thread for recent Star Wars purchases and I feel silly hitting post on the 2022 rumors thread.
