LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
cosmic replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
So I have always wanted a Pokemon line and tbh I am quite bummed that they chose to go the super mario route and have buildable characters. Tbh I don't particularly feel this saves on costs for the company because many of these buildable figures go on to have specialized moulds anyways. I guess its somewhat streamlined since most characters have the same feet and arms and the rest is brick built over at Mario, its still not the ideal situation for me as a fan. From Pokecenters, Gyms, marts, homes to even the Battle Arenas, there are plenty of buildings that a minifigure in the Lego Pokemon line can and should interact with. Not only that but manydesigns can be brick built, its really just the heads that needs specialized moulds. What aches me is knowing some of these brick built Lego Pokemon will get specialized moulds, making this feel even more unnecesary because we could just get specialized moulds but make it figure scaled!! Onix, Gyarados, Steelix, Snorlax and more can and should be brick built and still be figure scaled! You could say the same about Charized its really just the head we need. I wanted a Pokemon CMF series, unstead we're basically getting an official vsrsion of how Mega Bloks handled the license. No finesse and no taste just a monsy grab that won't live up to the hype. Really hope they ditch this approach and give fans what they want as the years go by. -
Holy crap this theme is commited to being a disappointment. Kudos to the design team for consistency on that part but like wow hold the applause for all else. What a disheartening line up for the 20th Anniversary of Lego Batman, and the crappy choices weren't even properly executed. Here are some more in depth criticiques of the sets individually: 76331 - I do not feel as though they captured the silhouette of the car adequately at all. The tires in the rear should be larger and encapsulated by armor (?), and the tires in the front just barely reflect the way the tire was covered in the movie. The sides of the car seem to capture the matt color of the vehicle well but the car looks rather dull and the colors fall flat and I have a great idea why. So basically the car manages to have a shimmer irl and not in Lego bc they should have used SNOT techniques to smooth out all those rough edges on the vehicle. Not all Lego cars are blocky, just look at the new BTTF design. Its great. This car is blocky and the roughness of the surface makes it hard to appreciate the gorgeous color this car has. I think the biggest offense was the lack of SNOT techniques but besides that its not terribly accurate either making it harder to sympathize with all its jagged edges. Just an unflattering execution of this vehicle tbh. 76332 - Vaguely accurate but who cares. The 2021 Batman movie was story driven but on a visual level many of the character designs are rather tame for a comic book movie. I truly feel the addition of literally any other character would have complimented this set nicely to keep its enrgy alive as it currently feels kind of dead. I'm thinking Riddler or Catwoman. This is definitely the best set of the wave since its the most accurate to its source material, but it still feels boring since said source material isn't particularly visually striking to begin with. 76333 - I was the most excited for this because I grew up watching classic Batman movies on VHS. I used to love Batman and Robin and have vivid memories of seeing it as a kid. I always wanted Lego to adapt the 80's-90's Batman movies for the longest time. That being said, this is mid. No nipples on the Bat Suit is kind of hilarious because you know good and well a conversation was had in the design room about whether or not to include them. Kind of wish we got a Bat credit card here as well. The figure is otherwise well done but yeah would it kill ya to give him arm printing? Now to the car itself, that blade in the very front is sooo awkward and out of place, yes the car does have a grooved edge down its center in the physicsl design but it does not protrude like that, rather is part of the front bumper section of the car and should be integrated with the build and not sit on the exterior of the bumper. I get that they wanted to create that image of a snowpiercer but this make it look like an addition to the car rather than a built in feature and it bugs me because that central blade should run down a "groove" that runs down the center of the car and I'm just realizing said groove is not included in the Lego build. Sure it would be hard to do but I think they should have at least integrated the snow blades into the front bumper more seamlessly because they look awful out of place as is. Also the Bat signal at the front of the car should basically be touching the floor near the front I mean it should be front and center. Instead it sits awkwardly facing the skylight kind of on top of the front part of the Lego build and its also quite small? Its just really off the mark in terms of that entire front section and the back half isn't really anything to gawk at so I'll just wait a few years down the line till they hopefully remake this but actually do a half decent job next time. That said it is cool we have an affordable retail set including designs from a classic Batman movie. Just wish they'd include more characters. This is based off a scene in a museum where Freeze and his goons face off against Batman and Robin. It would be nice to have gotten like 5 figs here: Batman, Robin, Mr Freeze and 2 Ice Goons. I say this because each film has such a strong cast it would be a shame to omit most of them. Ms B Haven, the Ice goons, Freeze, Bane, Ivy, Bane and Ivy in their Gorilla suit disguises, Alfred, Batgirl, Robin, Riddler, Two Face, Sugar, Spice, Two Face goons, not to mention the Red Triangle Gang for the Penguin in Batman returns, or civilian variants for Batgirl, Batman, Robin and Catwoman!! I kind of hate that they are so dedicated to giving us the bare minimum because theres actually sooo much ground to cover both cinematic and comic wise that it feels like we'll never get a fraction of what we could which is disheartening.

That's what all of this comes down to isn't it though? Mismanagement by Warner, DC, and Lego has contributed to the decline of this theme imo. Like yeah DC has fell off, but I don't feel crazy in saying the characters still have enough name brand recognition to carry some sets and deserve better than the literal nothing burger we've been fed these past few years. I'm hoping the theory that was recently circulating that the jumpsuit variants will be justified because they intend to release normal variants of these villains in a soft reboot of the theme next year. Maybe not a theory per se but I've seen a few Youtube comments suggest this and I really like this idea. Just wish Clayface was included in this lineup. The video piece that's perfect for him is still in circulation via a BAM piece that's currently on the market. I just really was hoping they'd use that piece for Clayface before they cycle it out of production. I guess Batwing would be exciting if it was the character from the comics, but it looks to be just a Batman variant? Was hoping for the actual hero Batwing, that would have been cool.

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
cosmic replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah as much as I would love a Mansion, I think it needs some time. Also, I wonder if the fact that we have both the Avengers Tower and X-Mansion available on the market may impact the likelihood of this set being made. The Avengers Tower serves the same purpose as the Mansion as being the base of the Avengers. And then, the X-Mansion is also a teams headquarter, but with a similar aesthetic to the Avengers Mansion. I mean for crying out loud its another mansion. so I think its clashes thematically and aesthetically with two prominent sets on shelves right now, so I truly don't see the Avengers Mansion being produced until after one or both of those sets retire. A set with no new moulds, lack of leg printing and molding sounds like the standard Marvel set lol. But yes I agree that would be so disappointing and kind of disrespectful to the original designs that kick started this entire genre. I agree that Lego probably would reuse the MCU Tiara, and just use standard hair for Wanda and Thor respectively. I see them doing that, and I see myself being very disappointed as well, lmao. -

To be fair I did say comic adjacent. The cartoon designs are very close to what was worn in the comics, its in close proximity. I actually think Beast is 100% comic and cartoon accurate. And while it may have been misleading concept art, it doesn't change the fact that it resulted in a Werewolf that could at the very least be used in comic accurate settings and displays. all this to say, I do think Lego is open to not just comic, but cartoon, and with the Spiderverse CMF, animated movie sources of inspiration for CMF Series. The initial comment's sentiment is that, whether comic or cartoon, its all semantics really, I do think TLG is open to producing CMF figures like this, but that it needs to be the right time. That we've seen glimpses of that so far. I feel confident in due time we'll get a Marvel CMF Series exclusively comprised of highly sought after designs. Fingers crossed it gets more than 12 slots. -

You're right, maybe we need more new moulds than I initially believed. Maybe that means we may see some of these designs revisited in a future cmf series? Or maybe they'll just never get it right, lol. Even better point! Lego friends even has pants which show volume, which I adore. I believe they have a bell bottom piece if I am not mistaken. It's all quite neat. Unpopular opinion but even aside from dresses and pants, it'd be nice to get a new arm piece to represent sleeves with volume or ruffles. -

Keep in mind, that Avengers Mansion was the base for the Avengers for most of classic Marvel History, the use of Stark Tower is more modern. Meaning an Avengers Mansion would do best with classic members of the Avengers. Thor, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Scarlet Witch would all need new moulds, not to mention Captain America would do best with a new mould to represent the winged cap he bore in the comics. I think a comic based CMF series would be needed to get these moulds introduced, then the set would probably have the same characters with no leg printing, lack of dual molding and select accessories, think Storm/Wolverine in the X-Mansion. Aside from a CMF series to introduce the characters who would need new pieces, we'd also need a wave or two introducing characters who will spill into the D2C. Think Black Widow, Iron Man, classic Hulk, Vision or even Wasp, who I could see getting made with no new pieces. Ideally the Mansion would then have obscure legacy heroes such as Hercules, Namor, Tigra, etc as exclusive variants. But all this to say, if done properly, we'd need a few things such as a cmd series and a wave or two to get a proper Mansion. I just don't see that happening by Summer of next year, unless they rush everything else on to the Winter wave. As mentioned before, I think all signs point to a Spiderman based D2C given the heavy focus on him throughout this year. I do not think Marvel or Lego have been avoiding the comic based CMF series at all. I believe its just been a matter of timing. With the Disney + shows being fresh and new during the release of Series 1, it can be inferred that many of these shows would not be seen as profitable enough to warrant a set (at least before they launched, in hindsight I'm sure a Wandavision set would sell well/decently), but knowing the characters would be desirable and influential in the coming MCU projects. it just made sense to congregate them into a cmf series since that first wave of Disney + shows brought with it a wave of new designs that TLG had to acknowledge somehow. As for CMF Series 2, it can actually be argued that 1/3 of the series was comic/cartoon accurate. Beast, Wolverine and Storm are the first obvious 3 that were not based on live action MCU source material, but rather the 97 cartoon. But I now feel confident in saying Werewolf by Night is not based off of the MCU. The noir movie naturally had him greyed out, but concept art and online images suggest he had ripped blue dress pants in the live action special, but the green pants are accurate to his comic debut. yes his bloodstone accessory is MCU accurate, but Werewolf by Nights outfit was undeniably comic based The means 4/12 figures in Series 2 were comic adjacent and not based off of a live action property. That was long winded but all this to say, we have already gotten traces of comic based figures in a CMF setting. As the Disney + shows settle down and become less significant, time will clear the way for us to be able to have a completely comic based series. I think they are open to it, it just hasn't been the right time yet. -

I figure eventually we'll get designs more akin to the movie. I actually won't shut up about how I think the next CMF series should have a Mickey with mid sized legs and more compact/smaller head mould to make him canonically shorter to Goofy and more in line with his animated scale. This may be a wild take but I'd love to get a micro figure of Tinker Bell, Ala Emperor Palpatine's micro figure, or Ant-Mans. Except hers would of course have wings and a ponytail moulded on. Wouldn't mind if she's slightly larger than a traditional micro figure if it means we get those details. As for the Beauty and the Beast movie, I can' t be the only one who was hoping Belle would have used the Series 15 Queen dress mould, as I was always under the impression that her dress had more volume and dimension to it, than say, Aurora or Snow White. While the latter two make good use of the sloped dress piece, I sort of wanted both Cinderella and Belle to use the larger puffier dress mould for their mini figure debuts. -
I can appreciate this take. For example; We've never gotten TTG sets but we've had Teen Titans show up in Batman sets, in the CMF series, and Dimensions.I agree its not been a traditional set based off of Teen Titans getting made, but it can be argued that the shows popularity helped us get some sort of Teen Titans presence in Lego to begin with. But that's still speculative, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks the show helped us get some movement in that department. One exciting thing I will mention is that the recently announced Starfire show is said to have Amethyst of Gem World who I absolutely adore and while unlikely I would love for us to get her through this new venture. I guess on a slightly optimistic note we did technically get sets based off of DC Super Hero Girls. Yeah it was with mini dolls but there's something to be said that we did get sets based off of an animated Series. And while Beware the Batman did not get a set, the 2014 Batmobile from the Flash's debut set being accurate to the show is clear inspiration and can be considered a loose tie in. Not to mention 2 Dimensions packs directly based off of Teen Titans Go, and I feel comfortable saying it's a possibility we may see some content loosely or directly based off of an upcoming animated project, it's just..... the precedence for this has been video game tie ins, of which we are highly unlikely to see again, mini doll based sets, again unlikely, and loose tie ins. The loose tie ins is where we may find success. Sure Jessica Cruz has been announced to have her own show and so will Starfire. But rather than getting sets directly based off of those properties, I can see these characters being sprinkled into other Batman/Superman sets. And there is definitely precedence for this, Starfire/Beast Boy in the Jokerland set, Justice League wave during the year of JLA release, and Killer Croc, Harley, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and Katana being released in 2016. So fingers crossed they bring back unofficial tie ins! Sorry to ramble but it can be argued that they already brought back unofficial tie ins, with the new Superman movie not getting sets, it can be interpreted that the Superman mech is our unofficial tie in for that. Same goes for the book.

Nooo I was so excited. Maybe its a Quicksilver situation where he's leaking much before his eventual arrival? Just wishful thinking. But come to think of it, who knows if that leaked torso from years back will even be used for the upcoming Quicksilver. Oh well. -

I hear you but respectfully disagree. The human versions of the objects would make boring cmf figures for me as I've come to expect CMF designs to have lots of details and fun exclusive accessories. I just don't see them having that strong of an appeal to carry a CMF series, so a set would make the most sense. And while there are plenty of princess figures that would make appealing cmf choices, the common villagers and "everyday" fits of the main cast are among the more boring choices to build a cmf list with, imo. Sorry to be harsh but a princess series with no princess dresses or villains, just supporting cast members, and Belle and Aurora in their cottage clothes would be kind of bland to me, would rather see those designs show up in sets. There's also this. Love Pixar and all it has brought to the Disney market, I appreciate the current mix of classic animation, Pixar, princess's and Mickey + friends we have gotten so far. Disney has a diverse portfolio, so it only feels natural for the cmf series to have a wide range of inspirations. -
Would be nice but its hard not to be pessimistic. We had Beware the Batman in 2014 and I remember getting my hopes up that we'd get Katana based off that cartoon because the Batmobile released in that winter wave was fairly accurate to the show. But we never got anything based off of Young Justice, Justice League Action, or Beware the Batman. I hope they prove me wrong but historically Lego has ignored DCs animated content as set inspiration, though hopefully with new leadership we see different directions taken.

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

I'm a little relieved knowing I'm not the only one who feels this way. Didn't want to be Debbie downer and come in complaining but wow I did not care for the rumored character list. I hadn't yet seen Across the Spiderverse so I assumed the designs would at least have some relevance to the comics and have some familiar faces. So I was kind of confused to see what mostly sounded like original designs, and googling some of these, I gotta say they're very stylized and would feel out of place in anything besides a Spiderverse display. Which I guess is good for people who want that. But I agree that there is a lot more material we have not yet tapped into that I would rather see in a cmd format. 616 Lizard is tricky because I actually think he would best be depicted as a big fig and there fore not applicable to a cmf setting. My delusional self still believes we may someday get Guardians of the Galaxy comic based sets and I figure Agent Venom will pop up there when that eventually happens. Also see Gwen showing up in a set rather than a cmf but I fear she won't get the leg printing she needs for her purple skirt unless she's a cmf figure so who knows. Spiderverse is having its moment and I think that's neat but I hope we eventually get a comic based Marvel cmf series. Wish they would bring back larger series, I remember being so excited about Disney 1 and Harry Potter 1 having more than 16 figures. I would say at least 16 would be good, that would be a "larger" series in a modern context because we only get 12 figure series nowadays. As mentioned there's a lot to choose from, Avengers, villains, Guardians and Inhumane in classic and contemporary designs, it would be great. Can you believe we have never gotten a single comic accurate Thor with a helmet/hair piece? Feels unreal to me, also kind of wishing they'd make a new Mjolner mould. The leather hooked latch at the bottom should be moulded on, and feel the square top bit should be bulkier than a standard hammer piece, possibly large enough to have lightning printed on it. Yeah, come to think of it, a comic accurate Thor with a new Mjolnir mould is a must have for an inevitable comic based cmf series. And finally seems Sunspots torso has leaked which is excited. Love the idea of a Sentinel being released and I hope Nightcrawler shows up as well. Just wishing the X-Jet had more than 4 seats now that we have all these team members. Wish they did at least 6. -

Instantly noticing that the castle has the design and color scheme of the Disney Parks Beauty and the Beast Castle and not the animated design. This would keep it in line with Cinderella's Castle and the Train Station being accurate to their park versions as well. This kind of feeds into my theory that the Mickey and Minnie figures are accurate to real humans in Mickey and Minnie costumes, and the figures in the set feel more akin to humans dressed as these characters in a theme park-actor context, rather than being figures of the actual characters themselves. It's ridiculous and I wouldn't be surprised if no one has any idea what I'm rambling about but its all quite meta to me lol. But its like saying that's not a figure based off of Belle from the movie, that's a theme park actress in her Belle costume in Lego form, lol because these are not sets based off of the movie these are based off of the theme park. I'm not complaining, this is smart for long term viability. If this theme is assumed to be evergreen, within a decade or so some of the concepts we saw her its inception will be revisited or reproduced. If they needed to release a new Belle's castle in the distant future, I guess its neat to still be able to release the cinematic or animated versions and still have that set feel fresh. Just pointing out that this does not seem to have the color scheme or shape of the cartoon version. I'm in this camp, the human versions of the objects are unlikely to be released together in one set anywhere other than this one right here. A village set with a tavern, library, and maybe Belle's cottage all in one would be a great way to get Maurice and Lefou. Should they ever choose to release the carriage Maurice is taken away in, that could be a more affordable way to get him as well. I'm personally hoping for human versions of the prince and the objects, Belle, Gaston, and Maurice in the castle. We shall see. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
cosmic replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Okay so I'm going to preface this by saying I'm not looking to be controversial or offensive. But I think Lego has pushed the boundaries of their "no religion based sets" rule, in a way that I really appreciate. Yin and Jin have been explicitly referred to as Demons in the Monkie Kid line. We got the Heavenly Realms as a set, as well as several references to Jin and Demons in the Monkie Kid line alone. Then of course we got the Battle Goddess in Series 12, a clear reference to Athena. Cupid has angel wings, and it can be inferred that the imp costume kid was inspired by religious depictions of demons. You can even say the Sea King is an allusion to Poseidon. So what am I getting at exactly, you might say? Well, I want them to make Lego versions of Ancient Egyptian Gods, obviously. And I used all those examples as context for why I don't think it would be seen as offensive. All that to say. we've dipped our toes in Ancient world religions and folklore before (Green, Chinese, etc.). The Ancient Egyptian Pantheon had so many striking designs I'd like to see. And we already got Anubis (sorta) in Pharoahs Quest! So we've kind of dipped our toes in Egyptian imagery as well. But I'd like to see more. First of all I really want an Osiris figure. He's my most desired and I think he would look amazing. Ra, Horus, and Set would all be amazing to see as well. Isis with her wings would look so incredible I'm getting carried away just thinking about it. So yeah, I want Ancient Egyptian Gods, and I feel it wouldn't be too far out of what Lego has provided us thus far. Even having the Anubis guards in 2011 I feel sets a precedent for this. Hopefully others agree and it gets made someday, lol. -

My concern with the Mosasaurus being brick built is namely that it may be too out of scale. Feel like its going to be too big and clunky for what it needs to be. Also of course it just won't be in the same visual style of the other Dino's. I wanna change my mind but I see myself staying disappointed with this design for the time being. Obsessed with the Titanosaurus, loving the Spinosaurus and its tail. Might have to get into this theme after how goo the past two years have been. Really didn't want to but it has its charm. I was holding out for when this retired and we eventually got Lego unlicensed Dinosaur sets, but it seems that just isn't going to happen. -
Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
cosmic replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think the new Thing figure (or what we've been able to piece together of him) looks quite dapper. Two things can be true at once. First, that The Thing in a comic book setting would best be depicted as a big figure and many fans would appreciate getting a big figure of him, and secondly, that a mini fig version of the character can still have lots of charm and appeal, as well as being fitting for its context. Namely, the MCU. It's always nice to get variants of our favorite figures, so in due time I'm sure we'll get a bigger version of him. This works nicely for what its supposed to be. It's Galactus I'm most interested to see. I've recently got back into collecting MCU sets a bit, and with this being the first ever Lego Fantastic Four set, I likely see myself picking this up. It's just a matter of what Galactus looks like. I really hope I enjoy his build. But I'm kind of prepping myself for another Ant-Man situation, lol. Also new Mary Jane Watson figure lets gooo. Not sure if this will be comic based or based off of the Sony Spiderverse movies but Peters Apartment sounds like its going to be epic. just really hope they stop using generic torsos and faces for the civilian figures of this theme. 2014 MJ got it right, despite being an amalgamation of 2 different depictions of MJ, she still had a torso that clearly read as Mary Jane Watson. I personally hate how they did Gwen Stacy in the Daily Bugle and hope that is not what's in store for MJW. Also kind of wish they'd try something different with Aunt May. She's had some middle aged depictions with longer hair as opposed to her elderly depictions with short white hair, so maybe it'd be nice to start pulling different references for her as well. Oscorp figure lineup is not as exciting as it could have been, wish it had at least two more figures (Cloak and Dagger would have been amazing). Hoping Gwen gets the hair piece Supergirl had in Lego DC Superhero Girls. Of course with the headband being black. A black shirt with her green jacket and purple skirt is what I'm envisioning. Make her distinctly Gwen Stacy. Don't need random city pieces reused give me a new torso and leg print please. And for gods sake avoid the Black Widow parted hair piece, and the ponytail pieces. -
Love these ideas. Feel like the whole Genesis battle has so many builds, characters and moments not yet depicted by Lego, I would love for them to revisit Episode 2 sometime soon. I have this theory that Lego designers may lurk these threads, and so our wishlists can be a manifestation of sorts should we inspire them to create something they read. Maybe that's giving myself too much credit but it'd be really cool to look back on this thread in a few years with an actual Petranaki Arena in my hands.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
cosmic replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Licensed
Big and Cream are actually my top two choices for the next Sonic character(s) to be depicted in Lego. Also keep in mind they’ve released two variants of Tails, Shadow, and Knuckles too I believe with alternate faces, so if Cream for example comes in a bad set this year, you may still be able to get her next year with an angry expression or something like that. Yeah personally had no idea he was a laughing stock character. I don’t play the games and I haven’t seen the show. Only really know him from youtube short snippets and I thought he had a cool design. Just on an aesthetic level he has a standout design amongst the cast. Would love to get him in Lego. -
You say this ironically but I would gladly pay for a buildable Atom Smasher set lol. As long as its not like the buildable Ant Man we got recently, I like my buildable figures blocky like Ares or the up scale figure set. My point exactly. This new system works sooooo well for various characters its a shame they won’t take advantage of it. Between the building system for giant figures being perfected, to the vidiyo head mould that works perfect for Clayface, I am constantly reminded how good this theme could be, but likely never will. Lol I figure they’d just make the Atom a micro figure and a regular mini figure. But this idea is so campy and ridiculous I almost enjoy it.

I understood that for their original series, the pressure to come up with professions, archetypes and original concepts can be immense, and it may be easier to shorten the series from 16 to 12 to relieve some pressure, and also extend the lifeline of the theme by allowing certain concepts and designs to be spread out throughout various years. But that makes sense for original CMF designs. For licensed series, there are already existing designs and characters and sometimes, the licensed theme has more than 12 characters that need to be represented. I personally would be very upset if Disney Series 4 had a 12 figure roster. There are still so many designs left to cover for Disney, we're gonna need a lot of Series to cover what's missing if we put out 12 figures at a time. That said, not sure the Spider verse series is going to be the one to get more than 12 designs, lol. -
LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
cosmic replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
the V19 sounds promising, is it Clone Wars based? If so, it gives me hope that characters who appeared in that show but were never produced in Lego, can be produced some day. Namely, Add Gallia, Tiplee and Tiplar. Would love to get them in Lego someday. Side note, if Lego does not include Cad Bane in another set, I may have to end up buying that ugly ship he came in last summer (?). Gotta wait for a discount but really hoping he pops up somewhere else so I can skip the Justifier. -
So there's two things I really want right now from this theme. One is a proper Genesis arena/stadium, or at least a facade for the balcony Count Dooku stood on, a buildable crab monster, potentially at a UCS scale. or at least. a $150 play set. The second thing is a Shack Ti figure in modern printing, an update from her Clone Wars figure from over a decade ago. Then I remember Shaak Ti was in that Attack of the Clones scene. Well, she showed up a bit after this. So anyways here's nothing; Genesis Arena Battle - $180 - Symmetrical bleachers on either side of the main balcony, each with an opening gate underneath. Main balcony has the most structure and substance. Comes with at least 1 monster, namely the crab beast. 3 if you count the 2 alien horses 9?) the Geonosian guards ride. Figures include - Count Dooku, Nute Gurney, Rune Haako, Anakin, Padme, Geonosian guard x2, and ideally 3-4 Geonosians for the bleachers. Geneonosis battle pack - $20 - comes with 4 different Geonosians, ideal for adding to the bleachers of the battle arena. 1-2 droidekas. Geonosis Beast pack - $60 - If the Arena came with the crab beast and the beasts the guards ride on, this should come with the large mouthed, white Cheshire Cat looking creature, and the tri-horned beast with red face. Figures include - Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin, another guard, Poggle the Lesser, Jango Fett, Boba Fett Republic Gunship - $150 - Updated ship with new figures to mach this wave - 1 super battle droid, 2 regular droid, 2 clone troopers, Yoda, Shaak Ti, Tarados Gon, Obi Wan Kenobi, "burned" C3PO variant Hailfire Droid - $40 - x2 battle droids, super battle droid, Mace Windu, Bultar Swan Homing Spider Droid - $30 - Jango Fett, x1 Battle Droid, Eeth Koth, Kit Fisto Battle Droid Battle Pack - $10 - x4 Battle Droid - Build can be just some terrain.

So sort of off topic because I don't think this should happen for the Spider-verse series, but I do hope that eventually, one of the licensed CMF series we get has over 12 figures, back to the original 16 or more like the Disney Series had and imo should continue to have. Marvel Series 2, the Muppets and the DnD Series all had 12 figures, so it seems Lego has not only kept this format for their own original series, but for Licensed ones as well. I think for all these series, 12 was a good number. I don't remember enough of into the spider verse, and I honestly haven't seen across the spider verse yet either, so its hard to say if this franchise needs 16 slots. But in a general sense, I would like to see a comic based Marvel cmf series, or a Disney Series 4 to have over 12 slots. Just a personal wish. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
cosmic replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well truth be told they let me scan a box of the Space series then only let me scan a handful of others from Series 25 and 27. So I did get to scan but I was given an eventual limit. But oddly enough I feel we are at the perfect spot with collectable figures. The packaging is environmentally friendly, we have a surfer way of knowing who it is we are purchasing, and the designs are just as creative and detailed as I feel they need to be. I'm excited to see what else comes from this Series, really want this to be evergreen. Lots of untapped potential with global cultures. We've gotten the Bavarian Boy, and Pretzel Girl and various Native American figures. Would love to see them expand on figures that represent people of the world. We've gotten a lot of Greek Mythology figures but would appreciate seeing them pull from other mythologies. We kind of saw this with the S6 Genie being a jin, and the S19 Monkey King being from Chinese folklore. I just think they can keep expanding. And I know I talk a lot but also love when they infuse personality into the career figures. The S10 Mechanic had a tattoo, the S24 Carpenter had a head wrap. When we get "basic" professions or hobbies, where you would expect the accessories to do the heavy lifting (think graphic artist, juggler, or doll maker figures) , the personalizing of the figure to have their own culture and jewelry and tattoos and such also provides infinite potential. ps maybe I don't mean "basic" professions, rather ones with no official uniform whose defining feature would traditionally be their accessories, to signify what they do. Think how the juggling items such as pins or balls are what allude to someone being. juggler. Or how a graphic artist figure wouldn't read correctly without their sketch tablet or laptop. On that note would love for Lego to make a piece for a digital art pad/drawing tablet.
