  1. No I don't - the functionality isn't state of the art excactly, so i'm glad I can do it with pictures
  2. So, here is my final entry for the contest! Functions: 4 propellers, 2 at the back, 2 at the bow, powered by a 6 cilinder engine. Hand-controlled rudder Crane in two sections - top section and A-frame - both seperate operated by cables and pulling device And a nice mistake while making the pictures... Who spots it? Frame in sections (not 100% module-build but it's getting close) Hope you like it! -------------------------------------------- I think this was a really nice contest. Well organised, prices and great entries! I think the amount of entries and the quality rocks the boat! Old topic
  3. Looks fantastic. It's on my to build list!
  4. So, how much time do we have left?? If the deadline is fluid, it's still a deadline...
  5. No, why should it? It's not a rule on this contest...
  6. First of all, nice build and really creative. Second, i came up with one thing. Not to much, because i'm also a contestant in this challenge I think you should switch the jaw, so that the bottom jaw opens, instead of where the guy sits. He must be having a bumpy ride...
  7. I don't have the panels at the moment, so i think i will leave it open. Thanks for the comments so far. I'm currently trying to fix all the functions, which is not easy. The wiring of this is giving me a headache
  8. Looking great! Nice entry. You have a picture of the inside/frame?
  9. So, here is my entry for the contest. Not entirely finished, but it's a good step ahead in the right direction. At first i wanted to build a submarine, but the lack of inspiration was hurting my build time. So, i decided to build a floating crane. I have seen a lot of them in the harbor of Rotterdam and thought it would be fun to make one of those. Still, i have some problems to find a solution for. Anyway, Pics!
  10. -Waves- I'm currently building furiously. Havent got time to take pictures so making a topic is pointless. I must say that i started really late since all my MOC-time is in a other project. (which i now have delayed because of the contest...)
  11. Why should technic ships be realistic (without holes) while al technic vehicles have holes? I don't see any cars outside that have holes... I think it's truly possible to build nice ships out of lego. Just take a look at the contest right now. And if that doesnt convince you, take a look at the 8425-1 B-model: I surely hope Lego will produce a ship in the future. To widen it's model range, to be new and refreshing...
  12. Wow! The first seconds of this video really impressed me. And the "F... Yeah" made me laugh What a great vehicle. The rollcage/outside looks very cool with the strange angles. Good job!
  13. Wat Give me one, just so i can build it. I don't even have to own it. (maybe i will after building, but hey...)
  14. Hey nice! Ofcourse you have permission. Good luck.
  15. Red wheels are looking awesome! Such a shame you really need to order something like this yourself, they don't come standard from lego. Otherwise, not every vehicle could use red rims, so only if you own a few sets this is possible Nice addittion to your model though keep up the sweet work
  16. Hey, nice to hear you build my model Go ahead and improve it. I wasn't satisfied with it, but as you already said, it's hard to create something nice when you are really limited... Good luck! Oh, and post some pics...
  17. Well, every ship needs a captain, so i think i'm in! LOL Great idea, hopefully something nice will come out of mine and others hands before the deadline! Great prices aswell,rrrrrrrr...
  18. Since i started visiting this site only from july or something, i missed this model. What an awesome machine. The looks with the unimog wheels is just fantastic. I like the functions it has, and would probably be even more stunning when made radio controled. Good job nathanael!
  19. Wow, i'm impressed. That C-model is looking really good! Keep up the good work!
  20. I think the crawler colors make more sense in the video, but at first it seems more like a clown... The performance seems nice aswell. Good handling, steering and enough power. This set makes more sense by every bit of information we get. (although i dont know if i will buy it...) That helicopter, WOW!, that is looking awesome. I think they managed to implement the real features of helicopter steering as it looks to me... Can't wait to see more!
  21. Wow, GREAT build, in both construction aswell as size. Nice functions and looks! I think you made a great investment aswell for this. Looks like 2x 8110 and a 8258 at least?
  22. Yes, yes and yes! Airplane is a lovely set. Nice to build, good parts and functions. Helicopter is a sweet looking thing! I think i will want to buy it when it's released. I like it also that there isnt a motor in it...
  23. I thought this set was going to be a march release? Or was that just an assumption (because of 8070 last year...) That new piece seems really weird, i find the standard one already not really useful...
  24. Sweet Mammoth Batman! What are you going to move, a house? That is huge!
