MOC: Cherry Picker
captainmib replied to Wiseman_2's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well, if you think it might not be professional enough, dont be shy. I really like the looks of it, so it would be really nice if you could put something together. yep, build it in red.. -

Why are we seeing these pictures as they are confidential? Not that i don't want to see them... TLG wants to spot some first impressions and do adjustments? Was hoping that the jet plane would be more impressive/larger. Looks a bit like a NF-5/training jet to me. And what's up with TOW-models? -

Great job, to me it looks like a possible D-model of the 8258 (since someone already made a C-model ) So > Instructions! Really like to build this. Would you say it is possible to build with only parts from 8258? -

Hahaha, awesome! I remember building a walking robot with old technic lego (from a ideabook), but A: it was much slower B: it could not steer This is done really well. Btw, this kind of models seems pretty popular these days, they get better every time... How? Why? -
8070 Supercar
captainmib replied to Kronos's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Got my 8070 in yesterday! Sorting parts and halfway through book 1. I already like it. Wheels are cool, and so is the parts collection. A few things that i noticed: - The M-motor is really small! (compared to XL motor) - The box and the set have the wheels placed a little weird (with the better looking side on the inside) - why? can't wait to be home from work again -

captainmib replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ah, thanks for enlighten me, i didnt know about tatra suspension and stuff. But, is it not possible to use the central axle with gear which connects to a normal placed differential to oscillate? -

Well, i think i have a rather logic question on this: why did you not put the differentials between the wheels as normal? The solution you have causes a lot of friction on those gears and axles - the differentials can make this go away for a huge amount i think... For the rest - looking good. Just try and go on with making improvements. -

Where do you buy these in NL and what do they cost? -
This is really nice! Good job on these mechanics. I think this would be usefull for trucktrials? Did you build it for that purpose? To bad I don't have those older differentials, they seem much more usefull. The new ones only fit to those 20T gears and they can't be used with the red locking mechanism... Maybe someone can explain that to me?

Grohl's Creations

Well, it could be because of the use of other parts At stap 59 I had to work something out, because i do not own 41678 and 32291 But i think there could fit a 1x15 beam at stap 368 above the grey 48989 the seat and frontpart should be fit differently, but whould make it a bit stronger. Just my opinion though. For the wings i use the system posted here to make it stronger. You can adjust it to have the same angle you have with your system...- 761 replies
