  1. Haha, that is a brilliant model! puts a smile on my face! Really clever build. I already want to build it... (seems like i got al the parts)
  2. Well, to answer my first question: look in the same picture on the left. I want those colors! How to get it???
  3. Looks nice! Like the colors aswel. Good job on details to.
  4. Thanks for the switch. Calabar, i mean this: Image
  5. 1 Yes, but the palet makes them for example all grey (instead of all red). I know i can paint them in the scene. 2 I will if i'm at home
  6. Hello there I've got a few questions. One, i'm using LDD4 extended, all the bricks in the selectionmenu are red. Is there a way to present them in the normal color they come in? (i've seen one picture in this topic of someone who had that, can't find it right now) Two, the hinge tool. I red some problems with it in this topic. I like to know if it is broken/fixed? One example, turning an axle with a 16tooth gear, just wont work. (sorry, no pictures right now, at work...)
  7. Wow, remove the front-wings and you have an F-16 (i dunno if i should or ) Where is this from?
  8. @ Mods: Can this topic be pinned? Can the 2011 topic be removed, since we are almost at 2012... @ JunkstyleGio Would you mind updating the startpost with all pictures and set-details? Now the information is just shattered all over the topic...
  9. That is a really sweet truck! good looking and nice functions. I think the telescopic arm goes dangerously fast though (might want to gear that down a bit) I'm always asking the next question, so might to it this time aswell: Instructions? If you build this in 15 hours, that's pretty fast. How did you plan and approach this MOC? Like to know...
  10. lol, that's nice. I'm thinking Wild Wild West!
  11. As i understand this correct, the gears you used are different so, the front gears are bigger than the back gears. A 12tooth gear will run faster then a 20tooth gear on the same axe (well, at least the outcome will) If you want to run them at equal speeds, you will need to use the same differential, and at least the same gear combination. So now you have in the back, a 12tooth gear powering a 16 tooth And at front, a 20tooth gear powering a 28tooth differential So i think there lies the problem Hope you understand (hard to think and explain it in words...)
  12. Do I like it? Man, what an amazing cool build! Grrrrrrrreat stuff Great scale, design and function. Would love to see the technique behind the gearbox. And last but not least: I really like it how you used "normal"-sized wheels to achieve such a big model. Really good!
  13. Wow, great car! Like the lines of the car! MOAR INSTRUCTIONS!
  14. Just saw the video, but man, that's really great looking. This way selecting a gear or function has become a lot easier. Really clever job!
  15. Great Job! Like the colors you used. You know, the design reminds me very much of the b-model from the testcar, at leat, from pictures... (8865-1 test car)
  16. Thanks for the reply all. Timr: yes, that was my attempt to, but the results are bad. Going to have another go at it Dluders: Thanks. For the tires, i'm only having 8258 and 8070, so these are my options. I like your suggestion though. (to bad there really arent any real spokewheels) Zblj: yes and from 8258 aswell Funny thing is if you see people next to the real thing - it is so small! Edit: anyone a suggestion on the gearbox handling?
  17. Hello all, I present you my Ferrari 156 Sharknose. It's a formula 1 car i build over the last months when i had time. I like the chassis and the overal looks. However, i'm having a few difficulties. But, picture's first: Overview Nose Backside Front Rear 4 speed-gearbox V6-Engine And the real-thing So, the problems i'm left with are: The window/windscreen. i have made 3 or 4 but it's nothing decent. Control of the gearbox. It's all the way in the back (as it should) but how to control it is a pain... I'm out of certain panels to cover the other side of the car! The wheels are to wide, but they are correct in size (and i dont have any other options in this scale) If you have any suggestions the will be most welcome. Thanks for reading. Bye! This better Zblj?
  18. Dude, awesome! Thanks for sharing. Man there are soooooo many parts in this. Hope to get some ideas of this. I think Lego should make a jet or helicopter this size...
  19. As I remember correct, european trucks have a maximum length of 25 meters. Therefor, trucks have a short nose to have more length for the trailer. In america this isn't a restriction. This is the main reason why we europeans don't see a lot of those longnose trucks. Do like the looks of 'em though.
  20. Got a question: How to value this 9397? Is it like the 8070 from this year? (so, a bigger model, but not the flagship?) Like the looks of it, and to me it looks like some kind of tribute to 8860. Not a real remake, not a copy. The crane seems a bit simple, (but simple can be brilliant), in construction. I think it just asks for modification, to control the two last functions... New turntable looks nice aswell. I hope TLG can do some explanation on the models. Tell us some backstory
  21. I'm not a fan of the movies, but this is really cool and fresh technic lego in use! Makes me want to rebuild this. Awesome job.
  22. Wow, really cool and fun build! Great job on creating something ordinary out of lego's love the picture of the bottom, shows some nice techniques! IS it possible to make the legs lift of from the ground while walking? Would be nice...
