Hello all! I just woke up from my dark ages in technic lego... I'm a 26 year old dutch guy, and about a month or 2 ago i restored all my old technic lego still waiting at my parents. Did a little research, but the 8425-1 black hawk from 1996! was my last lego item.. So, since i saw the news about the unimog i wanted to get it and restart my lego hobby. Weren't it that I didn't liked it as much as needed to wait for the release. So i got the 8258! What an awesome re-introduction to technic lego. After that, i discovered this sweet forum and thought, "lets join 'em"... So here i am! a Hello to you all and... Brick on!

Grohl, you are an excellent builder. I tried to built your sea harrier from the parts of 8258 (and some older technic lego) but did not complete it. (i do not own enough universal joints, only the 2 from 8258 ) I substituted the outlet-system with a gear system. One thing i noticed though is that the front needs an extra beam for more stiffness. It's a bit wobbly (i think). (will try to upload pictures later) Overall the sea harrier is really cool, excellent job and thanks for sharing...
