10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
RichardGoring replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
And yet they included it in the poll, which is just bizarre. They didn't include any Technic and that's been around for far longer than Bionicle and is longer lived than pretty much anything else.- 2,976 replies

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I took advantage of Rakuten giving 10% cashback to get something before stock goes during double VIP. Amazingly a few things I wanted in Bricks and Pieces were back in stock. But then I felt guilty about ordering four pieces, so got another sea turtle and another 100 stud leaves of various colors, including white that is back in stock. Still the old system, and a reducing selection of things in Pick a Brick. -

Lego Ideas 90th Anniversary Fan Vote

You can't quite do that, as it was three votes per person, and many voted for three castle themes. But StoneWars did a great analysis of the votes and trying to do it on a per user basis, castle still won, although less convincingly. Ooh! Maybe a jousting tournament featuring several factions, happening outside the castle? I bet it will have a sticker of a goat. And a sticker of a horse, for that matter... -

Suggests it will be in the same scale as the Ecto-1, which bodes well. Looking forward to it.- 57 replies

Lego Ideas 90th Anniversary Fan Vote

I only ever had Lion Faction, and even then just a couple to go against the Forest Men, so it will be very nostalgic for me. Especially as the Bricklink Castle in the Forest just arrived. So I can recreate my childhood setup! -

Because it will take a while, and, as was pointed out before, the anniversary isn't until August, so we'll more likely get it then. -

I also keep an Excel list of everything I've ordered, along with the date ordered and whether it has arrived. I also use it to note the pieces I want ahead of the next order (element number, colour (because it's useful to quickly see things), number, price, basic description of the part, and, if it's for a MOC or something to complete a partial set, what it's for and in some cases the page/step number in the instructions - that's saved me a lot of time!). Although in the flurry of new stuff being released for the start of the year I did order a few bits without noting them down, and the ordered the same thing again next time. But it's only an extra couple of pieces and they'll all be useful somewhere. Excel for the win! -

Nice idea, but they've done these before where one the prizes was the 'next Ideas set', and announced the winner before the set was known, so we may not hear anything about it on May 5. But equally, it might be part of the fun to announce the set and competition winners at the same time. -

I'm in the US, so it may be different, but my order email came through about 30 minutes after I placed the order, and it has the set, GWP, and B&P components. I had no issues getting to the original Bricks & Pieces site (or the original Pick A Brick site, but I didn't order from that). The website order status shows the set and GWP as In Warehouse, the Bricks and Pieces line as 'Shipped' (although it always does this, even though it hasn't), and each individual B&P element is down as 'In Process'. It usually takes a day or two for that to change to 'In Warehouse'. Sorry that it's not working for you. -

Made an order to get the Jane Goodall GWP and had a look to see if any of my B&P wanted list were back in stock before the update. Hurrah! Grey squirrels will now be joining the others. And because of FOMO, I got the dark orange horse. And many of the new different coloured three leaf studs (32607), all of which are back in stock. They may arrive just in time to make the Ideas Treehouse a full multi-colour autumn set, along with the squirrels. -

Sweet, sweet B&P order from Jan 11 arrived today into Boston, MA. A useful distraction from the terrible stuff going on right now. Mainly parts that are missing from old sets and minifigure pieces. No animals, but three missing cat tiles that I shall be able to put up until my February order arrives. -
I know the Countach gets all the love, but the Diablo is my favorite. Nice work!

I saw them all at a Wal-Mart on Wednesday too (Brockton, MA near IKEA if anyone is nearby and wants to go). I really like the trunk set, but don't like $60 for it. I'm happy to wait to see if/when it's discounted. -

Soap. Also commonly found in Friends sets, but not in others...
