  1. And I don't get what you don't get Does a potential new Eurobricks Technic Contest (you know....the one we have secretly been talking about) conflict with the Porsche contest? In other words; do people have enough time for an EB contest.
  2. I think it's a bit disappointing that people can enter with existing MOCs. I know it's hard to enforce for a global contest, when you don't allow it. But it somehow ruins the fun a bit.
  3. Does the Porsche contest conflict with a potential new Eurobricks Technic contest? The Porsche contest closes on the 1st of Aug, so maybe we can start on the 1st of Aug.
  4. I think it's worth a call to LEGO Customer Service.
  5. Sure! Paste the url without the s behind https
  6. I have had this issue when writing reviews as well
  7. Hi, Welcome to EB! It's not best practice to publish your email address on a public forum, so I have removed it. Please read this topic from the beginning and you will know how to proceed. Have fun!
  8. Reading the rules, I don't see any limitations on existing MOCs and/or posting a WIP....so I think it's cool.
  9. Actually I am not sure what the rules say. I am definitely okay with it and I encourage EB members to post their WIPs, but I am not sure about the official TLG rules. I have changed the prefix to [PORSCHE] by the way, also in the contest topic.
  10. There was another controller recently. Maybe someone can refresh my memory...
  11. Keep the updates coming mate! This is such a cool project! Looking forward to seeing this bad boy dressed
  12. Since various Power Functions Controllers are popping up lately, I figured it might be a nice idea to have an Index combined with a General Discussion topic. CONTROLLERS SmartBrick (SBrick) General Discussion BuWizz - High Performance LEGO Power Functions Controller BlueSmartControl INPUT DEVICES Control SBrick with Android Game Controller
  13. New SBrick cases are available from the SBricks store. WIN AN SBRICK There's even a Father's Day Competion (which ends Monday so hurry up), where you can win an SBrick. Head over to the Technic Forum to find out the details. There aren't a lot of competitors, so you have a good chance of winning!!
  14. You sure did, thanks!! I really hope the curved panels will be available in white some day. I love them!!
  15. I like it, but your pic is way too big. Size limit for the site is 1024 wide. Can you embed a smaller version? Did you paint the curved panels or have I missed something? I like the extra small panels in front of the headlights!
  16. The developer has EB account, so he will most likely answer your questions here. So keep them coming in this topic as well.
  17. Hehe that's a coincidence. I will lock this topic. Sariel, can you repost your first post in my topic.
  18. Recently we have seen quite a few PF Controllers popping up. Some more interesting than others. This project was launched on Kickstarter today and I think it's worth sharing. Since we are not fond of people promoting their Kickstarter or LEGO Ideas on Eurobricks, I have taken the liberty to promote this project myself. Kickstarter description A compact, high performance remote control system for LEGO® models. With embedded battery, precise servo control and huge power. Technical information BuWizz is a four channel high performance controller for LEGO® Power Functions, with embedded battery and a Micro-USB charging port. Paired over Bluetooth with smartphone or tablet, BuWizz is compact yet powerful. BuWizz: has 4 channels can be charged with any Micro-USB charger - even with a powerbank while you drive your model.- has several speed modes: in fast mode, the motors receive 2x more power than other solutions with LEGO batteries - enables great speed or better obstacle climbing - in slow mode, the PF servo motor can move very slow - for realistic motion of railway crossing gates, convertible roof, etc. can drive 2 XL motors on each channel in high speed mode- delivers 8 times more power (4 channels combined) than any solution with LEGO battery- is compact: 8x4x3 bricks size, 2x IR receivers footprint replaces battery box + 2x IR receivers can be embedded deep into your model - all you need is access to Micro-USB charging port powerful enough for large models, yet small enough to build a very compact model Dimensions It has the same dimensions as the rechargeable battery, which is quite convenient. Controls Example implementations Kickstarter Check out the project on Kickstarter Reviews Sariel has received a copy and he is quite enthusiastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdPduWEk7H4 I will receive a copy soon, after which I will share my thoughts.
  19. I will merge this with the Review topic.
  20. Good point! I think Cloney is still working on his report, but I will send him a PM.
