  1. I sure remember. That's what I was thinking about. I like your system, but I am tempted to get the warehouse bins. Though decision. I will mostly use them to store smaller Technic parts, so no liftarms. Pins, axles, gears, connectors and the like. I was thinking about stacking them What I like about them, is you can stack them for storage and put them on your desk when you are building. I reckon that can be done with your system too (taking the drawers out). I used to store each type of gear in a separate "unit" but I am tempted to make one or two bins with various gears. Another advantage is that these bins are cheap! Although I must admit that your solution is pretty cheap as well. Sigh....though decision.
  2. A bit late, but nice MOCs dude! Love your work And a nice storage system. Big bins, great!
  3. We discussed storage a couple of pages back. Don't want to derail this topic, but here's a link to a question I posed in the General Forum: Warehouse bins/drawers
  4. Nice book. I will check it out. Does anyone have experience with these kind of warehouse bins? http://www.kruizinga...w/38-fpom-20-w/ I'm thinking about ordering 40 of them to create a storage wall. They optionally come with a lid or plastic plate, to close the bin, to prevent dust on your parts. Seems like a convenient way to store parts and to use the bins when building.
  5. A short video (or videos) might indeed be helpful.
  6. That's a great review indeed! Of course, writing such a review takes time, which is something we usually lack when dealing with a deadline. Nonetheless, great work by Nathan, the schematics make a nice addition
  7. No, I am not I will obviously make sure to verify before publication. Normally when there's no embargo date in the offer, the review can be published when ready. But I'll double check.
  8. Hi Erik. If you don't like something, please use the report button instead of mini moderating. Furthermore, this is about the review of the set, so I think there's room for a little playful discussion.
  9. There will be a break down, but no LDD or Instructions. But I am sure someone will step up and make us happy!
  10. Hate might be exaggerated, but there are quite a few people who don't like them. There's even a topic about panels somewhere. I for one love panels, and I think TLG is doing a great job coming up with new ones.
  11. Yeah sure! 1024 wide is the max. Thanks!
  12. Great Moc! Would you mind resizing the pics a bit. They are too big. After that, I can do some promotion
  13. Since Paul (Boratko, Crowkillers) isn't posting his magnificent recreation of the 8860 Car Chassis himself, I will do this for him Lo and behold this beauty! Don't know 'bout you, but I think it looks amazing!
  14. Yes, this does it....no more playing in the Little League for you! And a well deserved frontpage. The way you have used the two new panels is something few people would have come up with. Outstanding. And then there's the headlights, the HoG steering (also for the convertible), the looks, the color scheme, the....everything!
  15. Panels...either you hate them, or you love them. Looking at this awe-inspiring 1963 Corvette C2 Stingray, created by JamesJT, you simply cannot hate them The way he used two of the newest panels is outstanding. Needless to say you need to click the following link.
  16. I think you made it to the country, but drifted along the shore lines
  17. No problem! Each year there's this one guy who's the first to ask about next year's news or rumors. This time it's you, congrats This topic was started on August 1st 2015. Nuff said.
  18. Pfff I sure hope not. That means I will need to do that too for future reviews
  19. That images is way too big. Isn't CAT a different brand than Volvo?
  20. Because I made a promise to someone and I will keep that promise. Besides that, he is very skilled at making great pictures nowadays (and his technical knowlegde is profound, so you probably will get a pretty in-depth review) Much like the Liebherr-ception: Sorry for this off-topic pic.
  21. That's hard enough when you are drunk
  22. Please don't go there. This topic will be replaced by the 2017 discussion topic when rumors start to spread (when set names are know or something). Rumors can come from everywhere. Mostly people who have seen catalogues or something. But like I said; let's keep this topic for 2016 and be patient. You can see when this topic started, add a year and you will have the approximate date for new rumors
  23. Basically, you are allowed to enter with any car, so it's no problem at all.
