Technical Support is Invision Support. We are using Invision IPB for the forum. This is exactly what happens. Screens goes semi-opaque and after that it stalls, or it takes a while. Refreshing often does to the trick strange enough.

I think it's because of the friendly staff in Technic More serious; I agree with Tommy. The builders tend to be more mature. Older perhaps. More respect for each other. The Technic forum is a nice place (most of the time)

Can you post a screenshot with the error? I will look into the "first unread post" issue. That would be a quick solution (I've never used that function)

I think it's a generic error, caused by some action on the server or database. So it appears at random moments. It has indeed been present since the introduction of the new board. I have brought it to the attention of the Admin team again, so hopefully we will be able to fix it. Thanks anyway

Hi, Glad you guys like the theme. About the "hanging" behavior; I think it isn't related to browsing per se. It's just that sometimes the server seems to stall for a moment. I sometimes have the same issue when I'm posting. So I think it depends on a certain activity on the system. We have filed a support ticket for this issue, so I will see what the result is/was and follow up on that. For the moment that's the most prominent bug in the new version of the board.

Due to some work, non-work and other EB-related activities, I haven't been able to maintain/visit the Technic Forum as much as I would like. Therefor I figured that having an extra Regulator on-board is beneficial for both EB and myself. After discussion with other staff members we have decided to nominate Milan. He already has been answering your questions during the latest Technic contest and I am convinced he will continue to do so on a Technic forum wide basis. So I asked Milan if he is up for the task of Technic Regulator and he confirmed. However, one of his questions was whether he could still join Technic contests. Usually staff members aren't eligible to enter contests, but since Milan really loves to enter contests, I said he would still be allowed to participate. If there are any objections, please let me know. I'm sure we can work something out. For those of you interested in what a Regulator does. Here's a short list of activities: Show your presence by simply participating in your theme forum. Help maintaining indexes (details to be agreed with the theme forum responsible(s)). Resize oversized pics or point to our manuals for helping members to resize them themselves. Help members with basic questions like posting pics, deep linking, etc (by pointing to manuals). Etc So, Milan, welcome on board! Live long and prosper.

Probably not, since the sets haven't been shipped yet, or are in the process of being shipped. So I reckon it will be later than the 1st of December.

Hi, Not to discourage your, but your project is way too generic to be successful on LEGO Ideas. F1 cars like that have been done by TLG in the Creators series. My advice is; keep on building great MOCs, but be aware that not every MOC is suitable for LEGO Ideas. Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys! I must admit, it has been a while since I turned actual pages in a book. After I purchased my Kindle, my entire book collection went on a veeeeery long holiday, together with my dvd's and blurays I have purchased the first print digitally and read it on my iPad, but I am looking forward to reading the physical version of this print. Review will follow when I return.
