Same here! (from what I have seen so far) Again, true. I will definitely try to put on some tires. And there will probably be some RC versions. -

That is pretty sweet!! I would love to have some of those big LEGO Technic bricks I do see a lot of other interesting stuff in the background. -
[REVIEW] 42039 - 24 Hours Race Car
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You are absolutely right! That seems a bit odd for official instructions. Come to think of it....didn't I mention this in my review? I need to read the review again ... Found it "The instructions are easy to follow, although you sometimes you need to bend the beams a bit. Minor improvements are possible here and there, but nothing shocking." I suddenly remembered writing something about it. -
[REVIEW] 42039 - 24 Hours Race Car

I can't remember that. What I remember is that it's a very clean build. Have built the model twice, but I don't recall having issues. But it has been a while, so I might have forgotten. -

I already made a comment. Don't continue to make remarks yourself. Use the report button if you feel the need to address something. Thanks. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Please stop posting comments like this, without any information. You know you can't post unofficial pictures, so there's no need to tell people you are going to post them, while you are not. Simply tell people what's in the pictures, gives hints etc. If not, don't comment at all. This isn't helping anyone. -

Thanks Chase! This is still one of my favourite models! Can you explain what is not working for you? Maybe post a picture? -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

True that. There is no reason to post something like this. It's insulting and can be considered trolling. -
[MOC] Crane Truck
Jim replied to Lucio Switch's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I meant if he would build something cool again. Not some mediocre truck without functions I have watched the video from the start till the end. Impressive! I love the suspended cabin. Nicely done (o, and seems you did get the Pro Tag after all) -
Technic 2017 Set Discussion

I have split the number of parts discussion into: -
Just to increase the part count? That doesn't make sense. To reduce the costs, maybe. To increase the part count, I highly doubt that. There are a million reasons TLG designers use certain technique or elements, but I highly doubt that increasing the part count is more important than other factors (durable build, profit, etc).
-
The part count doesn't have a one to one relation with the number of functions. Parts are also used for aesthetics and when I look at the 42053, it looks good. And besides, the 42053 packs quite a few functions if you ask me. And 7,7 cent per part (MSRP) isn't bad at all. So, I don't really get why this set should have had more functions, or less parts. We simply need to get used to the fact that "smaller" 2H sets (and "bigger" 1H sets) will pack more than 1000 parts. Maybe we should spin off this discussion into a different topic.

That signature definitely tops everything else

You are right. I thought they were mounted on a pivotable axle, but they are not. (would be a lame feature to mention btw) -

How about the lights on the roof of the cabin? There is no mention of "head lights", it simply states "movable lights". -

Exactly! Let's not continue the MSRP discussion, because at the end of the day you will probably be able to buy the sets a lot cheaper. -
Hi. I still have to process all the audio files. Have been very busy lately, so I couldn't find the time to do that. Hopefully, I will be able to do that soon-ish.
-
Please don't do this. First of all it's fake, second you cannot post it here if it were real. Agreed. Let's quit this until there is some tangible information.

Sounds great Will be opening mine soon
