  1. If you can get the 42070 for 155, I'd go for that one instead of the BWE. But that's just me. You may be right about the "early adaptor" strategy
  2. This is an awesome creation!!! (please be aware of the punctiation etc, which I mentioned in the other topic as well) I'd love to see more of your work.
  3. Hi. Can you please make sentences with proper punctiation and capitals. Your posts are very hard to read this way. Thanks!!
  4. That is a very reasonable price for this model.
  5. If they move down, it means they are not interesting enough LoL If you use the homepage, you can find them in a single click though. (pinning isn't a bad idea, but I am not sure it's really necessary)
  6. If you don't mind the price and like to MOD a set, this is the set for you. You can have a lot of fun rebuilding this set. In that way it's more fun than a "perfect" set
  7. Corrected the typos (and errors). And I definitely agree with many instead of much. It's a countable quantity
  8. At the rear without a problem. The front will need some tinkering though. Two liftarms and connectors need to be repositioned. And maybe they will hit the front "fender" (not sure how that is called). If you are redesigning the chassis anyway, you can try to apply this mod. I would love to see the result
  9. It indeed is not a matter of where but when. Be patient, they will be available on the official LEGO site soon (I reckon).
  10. The British used cans captured from the "Jerries" (Germans) — hence "jerrycans"
  11. Hey chase, I do have a day job you know (just finished the build, so I still have a lot of ground to cover)
  12. Used as a container for water, fuel, etc. Don't mix them
  13. Thanks. To be honest; I am probably the most enthusiastic non-TLG-employee on the planet and I totally understand why most of you will be skipping this set. As my girlfriend stated; when you buy a 279 euro Technic set, it needs to be perfect and there should be little need to MOD it.
  14. No you don't Just download the instructions and build it with your own parts. Then MOD is. Or MOC it
  15. It had been on our todo list for too long. I do need some time, because I don't have root access to the server. But rest assured, it's on the top of my list. Thanks for bringing it up again.
  16. Hi, Welcome to EB. What is the point of this topic? I'm not sure I get it. No pictures, no information...? Jim
  17. Hi. You are absolutely right! We are working on installing an SSL certificate to make your data secure. Thanks for your concern though.
  18. Thanks! You are right about the spelling issues. I haven't read it as thoroughly as I usually do. Usually I type the first day and I reread and correct another day, to prevent these issues. But since I was a bit pressed for time, I missed a lot of these mistakes. I will correct them Yuge is on purpose though
  19. You are more than welcome. I totally agree with your assessment. And you are indeed right about the Salvage Truck. Like the designers said, this truck is meant to "salvage" the truck that was supposed to get you out of trouble. I'm guessing that the Marketing department likes the term "Tow Truck" better. Currently, this set get's a score of 5,1 which is the lowest one of my review sets has ever scored.
  20. Would it be feasible to add suspension to the front wheels as well?
  21. Yes!! That would be great. Rebuilding the chassis to accomodate several motors and some soft springs would be a nice challenge. Create a proper bed, make the crane more robust. I think lots of people will be downloading the instructions, instead of buying the set. Didumos69 for example
  22. I have corrected the Claas mistake (no PF). Thanks for paying attention
