Lol. Well, if the theme was causing the problem, it was me who created the problem, not me who solved it But, we (actuall @Rick) are onto something. It's not in the theme itself, but it has something to do with overriding other themes. So, we are investigating that at the moment. I think we are on the right track.

I am not convinced it's the theme, since I had problems in the RA theme as well. So, here's another test poll to make sure:

Another test to be sure Works for me

Technic 2017 Set Discussion
Jim replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yup. I expect them any moment. Hopefully tomorrow. -
I'm sad that the problem still persists, but it does coincide with my previous test results, since I have tested with the "detault theme" before.

Poll Problems - why haven't they been fixed?
Jim replied to mocbuild101's topic in Forum Information and Help
More information (and testing) can be found in the Technic forum. -
Hmmm The total votes still don't add up though.
-
I temporarily switched the theme to the Default theme. Can you all try to cast your vote again to see what happens?
-
Strange. Especially since it only worked properly for you, Bob and me in this topic.

The call is being sent async to the server (Ajax call in the background). This means that you won't see anything in your browser address bar. An Async Ajax call was causing problems some time ago (the browsing problem), so I am pretty sure this is a similar problem. We solved that problem by turning of Ajax calls for the forum. However, there isn't an option to turn this off for Polls. So, what was causing the "browse issue" is likely to be causing the poll issue. The browse issue was the most severe in Technic and Star Wars and the poll issue is too. Exactly. Hmmm I am not running ad-blockers either. Maybe we are onto something here. (although I have been able to reproduce the problem, so it's not 100% related to that. But looking into the Ad providers is definitely an option) Thanks for helping me out guys, this is really helpful.
-
Could it be that one of our ad providers is interfering with the Ajax call to the server?
-
Strange behavior, 5 votes, only 4in the "who voted for", but still 4 in the detailed view of answer 2 (and 1 in answer 3).
-
It's helpful that you are all trying this poll. We can send this topic to Invision, so they can see that it's actually not working
-
That indeed looks like the indication whether you can still vote or not. Apparently your vote has been stored, but the poll hasn't been updated. I still think it has something to do with the Async call to the server. This caused problems before (the "overlay" problem when browsing).
-
Wow, that is mightly strange!! Nice find!
-
I don't see your vote, so I don't think it was saved.
-
I'm using Chrome. We first thought about a permission issue, but that didn't seem to be the case (although it sure looks like it right now). However, the poll frequently isn't working for me either.
-
If you were able to vote three times, it's not working. Only Bob and my results have been processed.

Let's not go viral Eurobricks is not a platform which you can join to promote your LEGO Ideas project. You haven't even properly introduced yourself. Please read site guidelines. As a member you can put a link to LEGO Ideas in your MOC topic, but EB is not to be used to gather support.

Testing the poll Bob's edit: Important before voting: To help us resolve the problem, could you use the developer tools: using Chrome: Open Tools -> Development tools (Maj+Ctrl+I), go to the Network tab, clear the queries (second button on the upper left bar), then vote. A query should appear, right click on it and select Copy -> Copy Response Headers and paste the result here. Do the same for Copy -> Copy Response. If you experience the non-working poll issue, the response will be empty. using Firefox: Open Tools -> Web Development -> Development Tools, go to the Network tab, clear the queries, then vote. A query should appear, right click on it and select Copy -> Copy Response Headers and paste the result here. Do the same for Copy -> Copy Response. If you experience the non-working poll issue, the response will be empty.

Poll Problems - why haven't they been fixed?
Jim replied to mocbuild101's topic in Forum Information and Help
That's exactly the problem. The behavior is unpredictable. We are in contact with Invision, but it's taking too long. -

Thanks! Always nice to hear. I do need to think about the sequence of releasing the reviews. It will be quite some work.
