  1. It sure seems that way (even more off topic than we already are, but how about you change your avatar to something less anonymous?)
  2. You're mistaken with the flapship You are right of course
  3. Usually the flagship is (was) the one with the most parts, although you can argue that it's the most expensive set. This used to be the same set, but this year is different. In my opinion it's the price that's winning over the part count, so I would consider 42070 the flagship. (and the flagship usually has the highest number, so I reckon TLG is considering the 42070 the "flagship" as well)
  4. Isn't that a term AFOLs use? Does TLG ever announce a "flagship"?
  5. Please don't make comments like this.
  6. People won't shoot you for this, but this is a LEGO forum, so we don't discuss clone brands in the theme forums. Please refrain from potentially derailing a topic with clone brand posts. Thanks!
  7. That's great to hear! Still have to build mine. Care to elaborate why you like this build so much?
  8. Let's not get back to this discussion. I have already mentioned that there will be no other Technic sets this year, but that TLG designers claimed they weren't done with the 40 year anniversary yet. Time will tell. For now, stick to the 2017 sets. Thanks.
  9. It definitely depends on your lens. I am using a 50mm macro, which still yields great results at f/20. In some cases I can probably do with a lower f/stop, but since the picture is still sharp at f/20, I always use that setting. Nothing more to add! Yup! This should be fine for most of us.
  10. I will make it very simple....topic locked!
  11. I recommend an even higher setting, like f/13. I always use f/20 :P
  12. That looks more realistic I have updated this review with the 360 degree viewer. Since I am Admin now, I can do some extra cool stuff Check out the 360 viewer at the end of the review. I can use the BWE gear racks to make a simple turn table.
  13. The name can be a bit confusing. It's more a 1L pin with pin hole, instead 2L pin with pin hole.
  14. It would be nice to have them in multiple colors though. Same goes for some of the other axles. On the other hand; I don't really mind that they are red. It's still LEGO Technic after all. And if you really want, you can get black ones for cheap.
  15. The Porsche indeed has two of them, like @TechnicRCRacer mentioned. They are used in red in Technic to distinguish them better from the 2L pin. The logic is quite simple
  16. It's totally clear why you (EB) have won! That is some seriously cool stuff. Congrats and well done!
  17. The Babas that got banned from this site? I have removed the Please Vote from your original post. I didn't see any info or link. Please turn off your Caps-lock
  18. A day might be too short, but recurring theme-weekends could be an idea.
  19. Very nice indeed!! I remember seeing the picture of the bag with parts, on Facebook right?
  20. It is. But when you see an MF picture in the Star Wars forum, your mind stops working for a second or two
  21. Excellent. Thanks
  22. Recently PFx Brick relaunched their campaign after a failed first attempt. More realistic goals were set and more pledge levels defined. The project has already been succesfully funded, but there's still a day left to back this promising project. PFx Brick is a cool solution to add Sound and Light (and Power Functions) to your LEGO creation. Click here for more information.
  23. Base-v4.1a by Jim van Gulik on Sketchfab I have been testing Sketchfab and it's very cool. I had to import my LDD file to Stud.io, which resulted in some illegal connections. But uploading the model to Sketchfab can be done directly from Stud.io. I must say I am impressed!
