    @lifeinplastic, if Lego doesn’t give us a white swan, i guess they will face sometime insisiter - a black swan… And I agree with you on African animals. And we need meekly, warthog, wild dog, zebra foal for CMF series. @williejm, what about mouses?! They are ‘urban’ animals for sure.

    I doubt he forgot that missing lower jaw becuase he said it’s an error and Lego keeps him guessing. He didn’t open those paper bags prior shipping package to me. This is why I’m curious if anyone experienced a packagiing error regarding Dino parts. It sounds like that piece was in other bag with bricks.

    Yeah, I don’t think there will be a new in-house theme following both Monkie Kid and Dreamzz’s departure to balance 50:50 ratio (between licensed and in-house).

    I literally checked the bags at least 4 times after discovering a lower jaw being missed. Two paper bags were sealed and secured perfectly. I don’t buy the sets but I only buy dinosaur figures. It made me think that jaw might be left at the seller’s place. Thankfully, eBay seller was kind enough to ship that jaw to me.

    I year ya! But I feel like i am not putting my money on both raven and fox molds. I know Lego is very unpredictable so I make a list of random animals for Series 29 and beyond. It’s mostly like for Lego to introduce us one recolored and one or two new animals.

    Oter than raven and fox, I kinda wish to see a beaver, swan, big frog (not standard boring flog piece), kangaroo, deer fawn, unicorn foal, saber-toothed tiger cub, armadillo, black bear cub, phoenix (not the Fawkes mold), emperor penguin, peacock (?) to show up in Series 29 and beyond.

    According to lego_minecraft_goat, Series 29 is a non-themed, regular series.

    I hope we will see a red fox in Series 29 but i need to keep my hope low! I agree with Accio Lego on raven mold. I keep wishing for a sabered-tooth tiger cub lol.

    Thanks! That’s a pretty long list of minifigures for that “Old Town” set. It does sound like “modular” to me as the previous modular sets have long lists of minifigures. With no leaked description avaaible, I’m very curious about it! Waiting game is on….

    Another idea I have… the theme would be called “Dark Abyss”. A long time ago…. Alien spacecraft crashed into Earth, triggering mass extinction of dinosaurs. The spacecraft was sank deep into the ocean abyss. Aliens aboard the spacecraft took some sample of prehistoric sea creatures and modified them into new sea-dwelling alien race - “Sea Watchers”. As the time flows by, Sea Watchers continue taking sample of modern sea animals, such as shark, whale, angler, crab, etc. Today, marine biologist Marianna Thunder, granddaughter of Johnny Thunder, was assigned to a secret mission and sent to the Trench by government. The government thinks there is an odd activity in the chasm, based on the data the scientists obtained. Marianna and her crew were surprised to see some strange-looking creatures emerging from dark chasm. The aliens attack the crew, not wanting them to find the spacecraft deep there. They unleash some living prehistoric sea creatures and mutated sea creatures. The battle between aliens and human begins.

    It looks like there will be a new Art set in 2026 and i think it’s called “Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape””. But i don’t see it somewhere else. Is it confirmed?

    Based on the lengthy silence here, I guess no one had a similar problem to mine with missing Dino parts?

    Eh, i don’t care about decorative display stuff but i care about costumed minifigures. And i also care about location-focused sets like Temble Fair in 2019 or 2020. Or Lion Dance or dragon boat.

    Ooo, yes a postal truck would be a great GWP! I don’t know when we will ever see a Post Office set but I do think a postal truck GWP might “relieve” us from impatience after waitiing for so long until we get a modular post office set. To me, I like kiosk becuase of its appearance but I don’t like stickers. Obviously it’s a GWP so…. Also, I don’t like he fact that I don’t know here to put it into the city somewhere. I would like to see more vehicles, please.

    Why so sad about low number of new animals this year? Lego is completely unpredictable and we will have some decent surprises next year or later. I say, we should enjoy our drought! We got some new dinosaurs, such as Titanosuarus, Spinosaurus and Aquileratops. I think we got a fantasy creature,, such as Cereberus and unicorn. We got Arctic fox, gray goat, pigeon, wolf, bird (from Series 27). Am I missing some new animals this year? all of them are are creatures, no matter if they are prehistoric, fantasy or extant. And. I’m just optimistic….

    Eh, I don’t know if i agree or disagree with you…. Sometimes, modular GWPs are cool, like Vintage Taxi, Moving Truck/Van, Retro Food Truck becuase of some neat building techniques. But some of them include stickers, which it’s a shame. Last time we saw a vehicle included in a. Regular set was Downtown Diner in 2018. If you want a vehicle included in a modular building set, the price might go up for another $10 or $15. When I was in Japan, I bought a few and they gave out some items like a cool Mt. Fuji origami and cute mouse decoration. Yet, Lego GWPs are sometimes lame. It depends on your buying preferences. And I agree with Roebuck that GWPs has nothing to do wiht the biggest sets’ budget.

    No worries! Sometimes, no one bothers to answer a question like that. I was very surprised to see a missing dinosaur part, especially when bags were already sealed. I wonder if it did happen to Dino collectors. It is my first time to see this.

    So…i have a weird question for you. When you purchased a set with Spinosaurus in it, did the said dinosaur’s lower jaw come in with other parts in paper bags? I ordered it off eBay and they came in paper bags. Strangely, there is no lower jaw part for Spinosaurus.

    I feel the same way. But as I read this, it makes me think. I don’t’ think Lego would do a small set if they introduce us to several Icon sets like Fort Elorado, Galaxy Explorer, Regeneade, Lion Knights’ Castle instead of introducing us to a new theme. I think Lego opted to do those GWPS. Take an example, Boutique Hotel was released in 2022 and there was a GWP - Vinteage Taxi - to accompany it. Of course, it’s a different story from classic sets but still, it’s Icon.
