    To be frank, I’m little bored with the old parrot mold. I prefer a new sitting bird mold.

    As a Persona fan, i have seen some MOCs like Cafe Leblanc and I think that would be an excellent choice for Lego to produce that location. But I doubt as it’s not well-known to everyone.

    It looks like the employee-only gift will be holiday-themed modular building and it’s a post office. I wonder what it looks like. And I’m wondering if a holiday-themed modular building set will attract Winter Village AND modular building colelcotrs’ attention if that gift is an official set?

    I don’t’ think 50th anniveary for mini figure would be a great CMF option as we had the CMF series for 40th anniveary and we only got “ramek” of the classic Policeman back in 2018. The rest of the series was bunch of costumes along with birhtday-focused mini figures (clown, party boy, party girl, guy in birthday cake). And in 2022, CMF series’s was again costume-themed. Nothing about classic mini figures, such as Lion King, Blck Knight, Blacktron, etc. we will see about 50th anniveary. In 2028. We will have 20th anniveary for modular building in 2027, by the way. Not that I’m aware about the remake of fantasy era set but it’s fair that MTS is not exactly the same as the early draft. I think most of AFOLs don’t like some of those remakes of the original sets, such as Regneade, Galaxy Explorer, Fort Elorado. I have read several AFOLs’ negative comments about them. Regneade being ugly, El Elorado being too faithful to its original version, etc. i think it’s a problem with nostalgia. I had two gWPs (Forestmen’s Hideout and Blacktron Crusiier) and i had mixed feelings toward them. They feel… old to me - I just can’t put my finger on it. So I sold them. I prefer completely new and oiringal sets like Lion Knights’ Castle. I just don’t know how to put words together, honestly. And they need to update a Samurai or Shogun or Ninja form classic Ninja theme.

    It looks like Samurai’s Castle is now in Ideas’ Reviewing stage. I can’t wait for it to happen! However, i won’ be surprised if it’s turned down in that stage.

    @RichardGoringNah, i think Lego will find one way or another to pull alleyway out on a corner building someday, in my opinion. Otherwise, if I was a designer for Boutique Hotel, I would include a breezeway instead of actual alleyway. Growing up, I have seen several breezeways between rowhouses down streets that lead to alleys.

    Oh but we were talking about Boutique Hotel being suppsoed to have an alleyway originally but they closed up and kept the shape. It makes me wonder if we will see that alleyway type in future set, not in the past sets. The current employee-only gift is implied to be successful with alleyway after the failed attempt with Boutique Hotel set.

    Yes. We will see what will happen in 2026, 2027 and 2028. I don’t think we will see an alleyway in a corner building until 2028. Otherwise, they can put alleyway in a straight building.

    Ew to stickers I wonder if Lego will do An official Modular Building with alleyway in future? As well as the newspaper press.

    That’s right. But there is no oringal castle for Lion Knights Catle, didn’t they? Regneade and For Elorado were the existing sets in the 1980s and 1990s so it’s the remakes for those. Yet, I’m not sure why Mediveal Village Square doesn’t sell well as it’ snot a remake.

    Exactly. Even tho Alphonse Lodge jsut came out a few years ago, with the stickers, I feel like it’s an old set. I got my first Winter Village - Santa’s Visit set - and I was disappointed to see a few stickers. I thought a printed elemtnat that depict a family portrait would be lovely and useful for MOCs. Modular Building sets are the life saver.

    Oh ohhh that’s right - i totally forgot Unicorn Castle was released in August.

    Does anyone wish that Winter Village sets would have printed parts, rather than lame stickers? I wonder why they never give us printed elements for a while.

    It doesn’t look like unicorn and Pegasus molds were listed on PAB as well.

    I’m hoping to see new seagull mold for Coast Guard. I never like the rubbery one - whe the time flows, it won’t stand on a stud firmly. Plus wing-spreading bird molds have been introduced over years - owl, raven, eagle, etc. - they are in hard plastic material. Let’s form a “New Seagull” movement!

    Yeah, that would be amazing to see some new botanical parts and piegeons. I could see pigeons to show up in furniture store. Not sure about botanical parts other than flowers and tree.

    Damn it. I don’t understand why they don’t put wolves on PAB when they showed up in City sets a few months after CMF. i guess wolves are hiding somewhere in cold wilderness….

    Every year, Modular Building set usually gets revealed around late November or early Demcmber. But for Jazz Club set, I think it was released as late as 10th of Dembmer?

    Not sure why wolves don’t’ show up on PAB as Arctic foxes did show up there. I guess wolves are out of stock by Nov 17.

    I kinda wish there would be a non-licensed CMF series that is themed as mythological” like Greek / Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Japanese, Celtic, Native American (maybe not likely), Aztec, etc.
