I also like 7w Trucks and have to say: it looks good. But there are also some custom parts, right? Parts that Lego doesn't offer in this color yet. Except for the rims, which you wrote were self-made. Thomas

Thank You! Yes, that's my opinion too. Here at City, almost no one is interested in the Moc^^. Unfortunately, it shouldn't be that bad. Supposedly a Eurobricks rule, but it rather puts me off Eurobricks... My little 42043 Arocs, for example, has the same functions as the large Lego set, but it's completely lost here... Thomas

And the next tractor unit has received an update, this time it's my old Scania with the Hand of God steering system... In front: the new version: shorter wheel base, improved steering rear: the older version from 2023 left side: the new one right side: old... in action: I created at YouTube a Video with the differences (in german, with english subtitles).... Technically, I find the new hubs from Trixbrix really exciting and am curious to see what can be done with them. I don't think the application directly at the switch is very well designed: too high, too close to the track. This causes problems with long carriages. Thomas

Thank You. This is an older moc of mine and has been on the BSBT several times, but more like in 2020/2021.... The “Görlitz III light” bogie has a thin connecting rod between the axles, probably for the brake system. Yesterday was the last opening day of the Deutsche Bahn Museum's branch exhibition in Halle an der Saale, Germany. It was my last chance to photograph my 18-047 in front of its real-life counterpart. I had been planning to do this for a long time and finally got around to it. Thomas

no. I use for every PU Train Motor a own PU City Hub in the locomotive ;-) More power and easy control. You can pair up to 5 PU City Hubs with a Lego PU remote control. With a PU train motor connected to each of these hubs, you can then control 5 PU train motors at the touch of a button. No app/programming required ;-) I used this feature with my SBB Re 10/10: a SBB Re 4/4 II and a SBB Re 6/6 working together: 5 PU Hubs, 5 PU Train motors, 1 PU Remote. Only Lego parts, no special electronics.... But this is your thread about your fantastic locomotive, I don't want to hijack the thread ;-) Thomas

My locomotive is rather simple in design compared to yours and not nearly as eye-catching ;-) SBB Re 6/6: I installed a Lego PU train motor in each of the three bogies. Thomas

This implementation looks fantastic, really well built! I also built a B-B-B locomotive, and the outer bogies are only rotatable, while the middle one is rotatable and side-shiftable. So far, I haven't noticed any problems with it at various exhibitions. However, we only run on R104 or larger tracks. I'm still curious to see what you come up with. Your ideas were already the basis for one of my MOCs ;-) (with credit...) Thomas

I gave my little RC Scania a major upgrade. It has been modified a few times over the years, and this fall I basically redesigned the interior technology: - The wheelbase is now one stud shorter: more in line with the original model - The steering is much more responsive: a worm gear has been added - Twin tires are now fitted at the rear: it simply looks better and corresponds to the model - I have installed a small Lego weight at the rear: more traction on the rear axle when no trailer is attached - The Cada micromotor in the steering has been replaced by a Circuit Cube motor: no more soldering required and cheaper to purchase The technology inside is now: - 1 Circuit Cube Bluetooth hub - 2x Circuit Cube motors for driving and steering I used 353 Lego pieces. No soldering, no sawing, no stickers -> just building ;-) The instructions on ReBrickable have also been revised. Anyone who had my old model as instructions also has access to the new version (update). I hope you like the redesign. For me, the new Scania is the tractor unit 2.0. I still want to make a video with the Scania. But there is a video of my MAN TGX on YouTube. I developed the new technology with these and then refined the Scania... Now the MAN needs an update ;-) Thomas

Thank You! To be honest, the RC Arocs was built amazingly quickly: design, parts procurement, and instructions within about four weeks.... But: I've been building these little RC trucks for about two years now and have learned a lot in the process. With the Arocs, only the steering with two steering axles and the tipper body were technically new. And the steering was developed in just one evening^^. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that quickly, but I was on a roll.... family picture: Thomas -

Cute, but the curved bricks at the front are too much for me. The real one don´t have a curve at the front panel and at the side only a small. Maybe the normal cheese slope is better.... Thomas

Thank You. For your Question: Space ;-) The CaDa MicroMotor main body is only 3 studs long (the 4. stud is smaller as the main body). The Circuit Cube needs full 4 studs in length. Regarding the forum area: Yes, I agree that my little RC truck doesn't really feel at home here ;-) At Bricking Bavaria, he once visited the large Technic area and also took part in the Technic truck parade (until the other large trucks were too fast and drove off^^) Thomas
