  1. Hmkay. Google Playstore sais: 4.4 for BrickController 2.6 Github page needs an update ;)
  2. Just to be clear: Side shown on your picture: Tan bevel gear inside Other side: Tan bevel gear outside, as shown on the rendered image posted by efferman.
  3. Other side looks identical? Gears for the actuators on the correct side? :)
  4. Front axle has hydraulic suspension, rear axle: 0:14
  5. To be fair: 42070 only has 3*2 RC functions ;) What I have learned from 42070 is: If there is a center differential -> remove it :D Improved offroad capabilities immediately. An the "RC capabilities" of the 42099 are fine, it's always speed or torque and the drivetrain is built that way, that you change it easily -> good solution. For me it stands and falls with the rear suspension and the rotation of the articulated joint. It can be a realy fun model, but it can also be realy boring. If it disappoints I will build the 42030 mod from custombricks (efferman?) I think. :D
  6. Nobody liked the "suspension" in the 42070 - so they removed it. Still hoping for the best ;)
  7. Thanks for the infos about the parts.1 XL for driving for a model this size + load.. hm.
  8. Henry from the german YT-chanel "Klemmbausteinlyrik" describes a new motor for the Volvo, too. But tbh. his description is completely confused. I still don't think so :D Edit: He said: normal technic hub, 2*XL: 1 drive, 1 dump and a new motor Edit2: Maybe "horizontal motor" means something like the spike motors, so no actuators are used for steering.
  9. Yes, there is no real model (Lego real, not real Lamboghini real ;)) on the toy fair.
  10. 4 Motors is currently the most plausible: Driving: front XL, back XL Steering: L Dumping: L The fake piston engine will be driven by the front XL. And i really hope it has a good suspension.
  11. They wrote 2x L-Motors, 2x XL-Motors, 1 "horizontal motor". I'm not sure if they maybe mean something like a Lego-inline-engine.
  12. In the same scale as the 42100, all Volvo dump trucks would be too small :D
  13. Promobricks: 42114 Volvo Muldenkipper/Dump Truck 249,99€
  14. Infos got updated: 42115 Lamorghini 379,99 € 42111 Fast&Furious 99,99€
  15. I know... maybe it's a good truck, we will see Edit: Information is getting mixed up: Numbers/models from "zusammengebaut" are not the same as from "promobricks"
  16. After all the rumors, I still tend to (and hoping for) a pneumatic backhoe.
  17. Yes, there is not much variety, but that's nothing new. Something goes out of the "cranes-cars-trucks-excavators-line" every few years - like the 8852 :D, but these things are not really liked afterwards by most people. Maybe the models have become too good/complex. The models in the 80s/early 90s were simple and the surrounding design was only implied. As a result, the own models looked basically like the ones from Lego. But today... as a beginner it's almost impossible to achive the looks of a higher class technic model. So maybe there is an inhibition threshold for destroying the well designed models. And I'm not sure a B-model is enough to encourage kids. I think Lego knows that and they are trying new methods, like the 42099 (please don't hit me :D). If you want to complete all challanges in the Control+ App you either have to build a parkour or go outside. And in both cases it is very likely you have to change the transmission for more torque - and the car is designed to do exactly that without much effort. Maybe it would be better to reduce the quality of lego-models x).
  18. I realy hope the pneumatic model is the large flagship. =/ First thing that came to my mind: Long legs -> great ground clearance :D
  19. Just to clarify: Does this delay happen between controller and phone, even inside the app if no hub is paired, only with a paired hub and only at the hub and not in the app and not with Control+?
  20. Np :). Wouldn't it maybe a simple solution to increase the maximum servo angle from 180° to the maximum possible value, the motors support? So for actuator- or super slow offroad-steering you just set the angle to 7200° for example.
  21. Hi, I tried your app over the weekend with a Buwizz dumptruck and a simple offroader and it works realy great! But here are two things that would be great for powered up: - Freely adjustable servo angle. Would be great for steering with actuators (like modded 42030) if the steering goes back to center automatically. - Some kind of calibration/limits for normal motor movement, like the 42100 has, so you don't run into built in limitations. Maybe manual if automatic calibration is too complicated.(go to position 1 -> ok -> go to position 2 -> ok --> movement between these two angles is allowed) Thank you :).
