It's not that easy (everything refers to law in germany). Am I allowed to draw a picture of a car? Yes, I am. I get copyright on that image, not the car company. Am I allowed to draw a picture of a photography? No, I am not. That counts as an editing of an existing image, that's already protected by copyright. Is there even a copyright on cars? No, there is not. The names, brands etc. are protected by copyright and the design of visible parts is protected, so no other company can produce them, but not the design as a whole by it self. The copyright of "creative work" cannot be transfered and would even be inherited to the descendants (see grandchild of Porsche designer vs Porsche). ^^ So if you built a MOC from a existing car it can be protected by copyright, but the requirements would be higher(1) than with a self-invented car, because the personal contribution is lower since you use a design that already exists. (1) nobody knows what the requirements would be, there is no reference =/

I don't think that's case in this set. Every switch except the one for the rotor seems to have two active positions and the battery-switch is blocked in one direction.
-
But would it not be possible to connect the drivetrain to a fixed gear while tipping mode is active?

I wonder if N realy decouples the drivetrain so you can move the truck freely - or in other words: If you use the tipping function on a slope, the truck will roll away :<

Nice. "D" is usally "drive". So it's maybe a software feature and the gear is selected by measurement of current/voltage and rotation speed. But doesn't the gearbox still means, that you cannot steer, drive and tip at the same time?

Wouldn't that be an additional and unnecessary limitation? Switching one function doesn't make sense, since it does not reduce the required amount of motors.

None I think. :D But there are two motors in the rear section. So maybe that's the drivetrain? And maybe you can chose between two gears? :X Edit: Naah doesn't make sense :D

Ok, sry. Did not know that this is also called "pendular suspension" :)

But with a pure pendular suspension the rear section would just tip over :D

That's a great MOC! You can use "remote control apps" to control the mobile device from PC or you can use Bluetooth/USB with OTG to use your mouse and keyboard directly on your device.

If it's possible: just turn one motor around. Second best option in my view: Go with @Lok24 's modified controller. You need just a few parts and it's a good looking simple solution. :)
-
I think you can deactivate the light in the PU-App (programming part, not Crocodile specific interface), but I'm not sure.
-
No problem. It was just an example to show what could be done and what types of blocks exist and what they do, since they have no tooltip :)

Maybe it escalated a bit =/ Disclamer: I do not even own a lego train or remote control .... sooo even if it does not work without tuning... I hope it at least shows the idea behind events and methods "Features": Two event triggers, one event-method, two seperated methods, two break modes. There are some obvious improvements like: loop for checking constant button pressing to improve brake behavior, combine with interface to display speed, selection for different trains,... but well it is more of an inspiration ;D And it looks like there is a bug preventing methods from being deleted. =/

for sharing :) I think you can simplify it a bit by switching from infinite loop + multiple nested if statements to this (image from racingbrick.com @kbalage) Combined with "=" for each controller key. Edit: This activates only if the condition switches to true.

Keep it simple: Technic Hub + choose XL/L-Motor the same way you chose XL/L-PF-Motor.

I don't think, there will be 3 apps. PU will be updated with an customizeable interface and pre-defined blocks for standard-function. It's only a matter of time. Next update will be released with the 10277 Corocdile. @kbalage in the interview you did with the procuct owner of PU, he indicated a few things, so I hope we will see some progress. No the Volvo does not use planetary gears, it uses portal axles (I'm pretty sure there will be no front-suspension, therefore the new Hubs would be rather unsuitable. rear suspension: we will see and hope for the best :X) .
