Yelana stepped into her boots, causing her leggings to undergo the same transformation that her shirt had. Small plates and circuits flickered and swirled around her body as her suit materialised. "New voice'll take time to get used to. . . <What's the status of the update?>". "<System-Wide OS Update Is Complete: You Now Have Full Psychic Control Over All Visor And Suit Functions. Translation System And Improved Decryption Mechanisms Have Been Fully Integrated.>" Yelana kicked the lid of an Ozzorli's Pizza box open, bending down to grab a leftover slice (the corner of which she stuffed into her mouth) and to pick up her belt. "Mmm. . . Nmmmce" she said as she fastened her belt around her waist. Actually taking a bite of the pizza, Yelana thought "<Show me>". Flicking the fingers of her left hand out (while still eating the pizza with her right), orange holographic buttons and lines of code appeared in the air, emanating from her palm. Snapping her hand around, the holograms disappeared. Yelana put a few small bags of pretzels into a pocket on her belt as she finished her slice of pizza, then attached her backpack to her back. Grabbing two pyramidal data drives from her desk, Yelana put them into her backpack and flipped her rifle over her shoulder, which fastened magnetically to the right side of her backpack. Finally, she slipped her chopsticks into her hair, and left her apartment for the Hall (intending to stop by Svet's Spices for a cup of tea on her way).

Since I use the torso and legs for Yelana, I recognised it immediately. 👍

This is unlikely, since the image matches the Promobricks description of the figure. I decreased the brightness on the image and reposted it, in order to better make out the details on the hat. That could be why it looks somewhat odd.

It looks like either a round or oval shield with a single snowflake.

A blurry fragment of an image of the “Santa Warrior”/“Snow Warrior” has appeared. Not much can be seen, but he definitely has a new hat piece (not a reuse of the ushanka, as I had speculated) in red and white with a moulded fur pattern. He also appears to be using this sword.

That part has existed since the Agents line in 2008, though it is new in yellow/Bright Light Orange.

While the Durmstrang Minifigs used the old Sherpa hats, the actual Durmstrang characters in the movie wore ushankas. Since there is already an ushanka piece in-production (albeit with the flaps down, rather than folded up), and considering that the descriptions are translated, I can see the "Santa Warrior" using the existing part (perhaps with white fur in place of tan?).

When last I saw anything, they were rumoured to be released on November 1st. 😕

Since the Earth-based personnel are slightly-modified versions of 2019 Minifigs, they may just be reuses for the LEGO Education videos. As for the blue jumpsuits, I predict that these will be what the crews of the Lunar Gateway and the moonbase will wear inside the facilities, since the orange suits are flight suits (and presumably we will get white EVA suits in the rover and moonbase sets). This is how I see it, as well (especially since the logos on the new Minifigs are actually not the "true" CS logo, but one with a silver planetoid (likely representing the moon), so it seems that the Classic Space logo evolved from the mission patches of early Lunar and Martian explorers). Descriptions and an image of some of the Series 22 CMFs have leaked, and there are two Sci-Fi figures: A maintenance robot (with the cyborg arm and welding helmet pieces recoloured in either yellow or Bright Light Orange), and an insect alien described as having a purple body with the CS logo, a pink head with antennae, and green wings. The latter seems quite odd, but I am reserving judgment until I actually see the Minifig (the robot looks good, though. 👍).

I see what you mean with regard to the music, but I felt more of an influence from John Wick (in the fights) and a bit from CA:TWS (at the end of the trailer: Clip). Back on-topic: A picture of a few of the Series 22 CMFs has leaked, and the legs on the birdwatcher/researcher look perfect for Bruce's 'Drifter' costume.

How did we miss this?? The images have been up since September 1st (per Twitter), but the only reason that I managed to find them is because I was looking further into my theory that the 2022 City Space wave will be inspired by the Artemis Program (their official Twitter account retweeted one of the LEGO Education videos)!

The LEGO Education section of LEGO.com appears to show some of next year's space Minifigs (specifically the orange flight suits and blue crew jumpsuits).

In that case, it should be added back (or explicitly prohibited), since it is not something that I would have thought to try otherwise. Also, does this only apply to Try Something checks during battles, or can it be used outside of battle as well?

I was not aware that combined Proficiency checks were possible! Where in the rules is this discussed?

While it is too soon to tell what the exact figures will be, I think that the breakdown of the types of figures can be determined by looking at the most recent non-themed/non-licensed series (17, 19, 20, and 21): - IRL Occupation 1 - IRL Occupation 2 - IRL Leisure - IRL Performer - IRL Miscellaneous - Historical Archetype 1 - Historical Archetype 2 - Sci-Fi Archetype - Costume 1 - Costume 2 - Costume 3 - Random / Reference

Actually, it is. While considered to be nonstandard, its usage dates back to ~1795 CE.

While this is certainly possible, I doubt that it is the case. All prior space subthemes of City and Town have included launchpads, support vehicles and facilities, and other Earth-based sets (as well as shuttles and/or rockets), so the absence of any rumours of such sets for 2022 makes me think that this wave will be set entirely in space. I wonder if these sets will be loosely based on NASA’s Artemis Program. 🤔 From the NASA website: We will build an Artemis Base Camp on the surface and the Gateway in lunar orbit. These elements will allow our robots and astronauts to explore more and conduct more science than ever before.

The Selina Kyle torso from the new The Batman sets would work well for an AoS Daisy or May Minifig (the latter especially, if the black arms are replaced with a plain Dark Blue one and one with the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo from the Helicarrier Maria Hill Minifig).

Update: Overall, these seem to be somewhat odd choices, as 60348 and 60349 sound like remakes of the 2019 Mars Exploration sets. I do wonder if the new roadplate pieces will be used as terrain. 🤔 Also, if the description of set 60350 is correct, it would disprove @danth's theories (though, being City, the sets will definitely have a future-NASA colour-scheme):
