"It was the way you said it - It sounded like you meant you couldn't identify the assailants when they boarded, since you had a head injury." "Fine, but. . . " Yelana moved closer to Zaria and lowered her voice. "Do you really think - if the cube is found - that turning it over to the Space Police is the right thing to do? I think I know what it is, or, rather, what's inside the cube - If I'm right, it's a conspiracy implicating multiple corporations, organisations, and governments in what have to be major ethics-violations. Since SP's got the backs of all the corps in Nendara - just as an example - how likely do you think it is that they'll do the right thing and investigate this? Do you think they even have the equipment to? Or the funding? Or do you think they'll cover for M-Tec now, like they do whenever someone brings up the working conditions for Undead on the รthergate project?"
-
"You were being snarky, and I'm not accusing you of anything - I just don't think your story adds up. Like, why did you have a head injury when the dropship arrived? I thought they gave it to you. You didn't see anything before you were attacked?"
-
"Well, it is, and that's not going to work either, so let's cut the buIIshit and figure out our way out of here. And besides, if you did get the gauntlet, what would you do with it? Return it, and admit you stole the project files?" "Oh, lose the attitude, Soren; you had to have seen them get into the car - That's how you knew they were Blackguard, remember? And you seriously can't even tell me what species was holding a knife against your head?!"
-
"I asked who gave you that cut - What did 'they' look like? And I don't know why Blackguard wouldn't search you; this whole thing seems either really sloppy on their part, or - pardon the phrase - really sus on yours. And you still haven't said why you picked up the cube. . . "
-
"Why didn't they search you? They were looking for the documents too, and they didn't have any way of knowing Zaria's the one who has them. And. . . Who gave you that cut?"
-
"I'm. . . not sure I believe that. When we got here, you were unconscious and unstable - And why wouldn't Blackguard search your body if they thought you were dead? And why did you pick up the cube to begin with?" Yelana paused to think for a moment. "Who attacked you?" "You're being evasive - Tell me exactly what happened, who was here, and why you picked up the cube!"
-
"'A little'?? You were almost dead when we found you! Alright, let's start at the beginning - Tell me everything that happened after Zaria and I left." "They probably took it off you after they kicked your A$$! Dammit! Never mind, just tell me what you remember."
-
Yelana took a step back and turned her head, deftly avoiding Zaria's strike. "Okay. . . First, I swapped out the briefcase for an identical one with the same weight, so no one's going to notice the gauntlet's gone until they try to open the case. And, between Blackguard's attack and the ensuing panic, we're not really the prime suspects if something's missing on the other side of the train. Second, I put you in charge, because I thought you'd be a competent leader - You are, but you're woefully naive when it comes to espionage. I knew we'd need the gauntlet at some point, so I took very careful steps to ensure we had it when the time came. Third, the information I told you about? I was the one who classified it! I encountered that object, retrieved it, and had it classified! I don't know any more than that, now, since it was classified above my level after I handed it over." Yelana paused to take a deep breath. "I can't. My suit's nanoadaptive, so the gauntlet is integrated with my other gear." Turning towards Soren, Yelana looked back at Zaria. "Remember when you said our ancestors hide things in order to keep us safe now? Contemporaries do that too."

Yelana leans over and helps Soren sit up. "Soren. . . Soren? Are you okay? What in the hells happened?!"

Here (Bold text mine): Three, actually, if the Howzer pack is also real! -
"How can he. . ?? <Activate Cloak Matrix. Reconfigure MedSpray system for external use.>" "<CLOAK MATRIX ACTIVE. MEDSPRAY SYSTEM RECONFIGURED.>" Yelana gingerly reaches into Soren's armour and retrieves the cube. Placing it into her backpack, she deactivates her cloak and hovers her palm over Soren's face, a mist of Plasma Potion spraying over him. OoC:

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

This is what I was thinking, as well: The 187th Commander wears Airborne Trooper armour (Source). If this and the 212th accessory pack rumours are true, LEGO could be setting an interesting precedent with regard to Republic forces, as both sets would include a unit commander, two of their standard Clones, and an additional character. I can see immense potential in such a format! Why? ๐ค -
"Shit! What in the hells?! <What happened here?? Scan those injuries - What caused them? . . .And where's the cube?>". "<SCANNING. . . >" OoC:

Yelana smirked. "Well, that's why you always have backups." "I recognise that; I get it." Yelana follows Zaria. "A lot, actually. What it means is that this isn't a power source, as we were led to believe - not like a silicon crystal, or something like that. And I don't know - I don't have the equipment to properly and safely analyse the cube; not here, anyway. Regardless, trying to break open that casing could be catastrophic, given the energy readings I was getting." Yelana took a breath. "I can kinda see what you're thinking, bits and pieces, anyway, and yeah, it's possible. I can't tell you where or when or how - that's all classified - but. . . I've encountered something like this before. It's definitely possible. I might even have an idea as to what it is, now that I think of it. . . " "Okay, rude." "Thanks - Oh, and if you don't mind, could you get me a cup of Crimson Chai - cream and Poojat sugar? The cup I had at Ebria has loooong since worn off, and caffeine is basically the only thing keeping me alive at this point!" Yelana chuckled awkwardly. OoC Character Note:

[Poll] Do you like LEGO as a company?

@Alexandrina is female - Please use the correct pronouns. -
"Woah. . . " "Maybe you're right - I do listen, but I'm always thinking, and sometimes it takes time for me to puzzle everything out." Yelana follows. "That's fair, and I appreciate it. And since I feel like you're finally trusting me, I'll trust you." Yelana asks Zaria about the cube. Yelana kept her voice low. "Then the documents are wrong, or deliberately omitting information. From the data I was able to get from scanning the cube, I think it's alive. Not the cube itself, that's just a containment unit, but whatever's inside it."
-
"A century?! How old are you? . . . If you don't mind my asking. . . I mean, I know Elves are long-lived, but you don't look. . . " "Oh - Sorry, I felt like your comments were directed at me. And I'm not against you, we just have different ways of approaching things." Yelana stood up and followed Zaria, leaning towards her and lowering her voice. "So, you said you remember everything in those documents - Did they say anything about the cube being alive?"
-
Yelana stifled a laugh. "Really? You seemed kinda worried when you froze your drink back at the Hall!" "You're right; I haven't. I'm assuming you have?" Yelana looked Zaria up and down. "Uh. . . Is there, like, something going on here? I feel like I'm missing something."
