"Oh, my mistake - Did I mention I've got a headache? Anyway, I'm not worried - I thought you were!"

[Poll] Do you like LEGO as a company?
Classic_Spaceman replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The list of sets included both the Police and Fire subthemes of City, as well as the White House Architecture set (Source): Official comment on the matter: “We requested that our affiliate partners refrain from posting promotional LEGO content as part of our decision to respect #BlackOutTuesday and pause posting content on our social media channels in response to the tragic events in the US. We regret any misunderstanding and will ensure that we are clearer about our intentions in the future.” -
"Hey, ease up - And don't you think calling it 'loot' kinda undermines your 'items-of-the-deceased' point?" As Yelana took the blaster and looked for a place on her belt to attach it, she quietly slipped her wallet out of her pocket, scanned Slice's Credits, then replaced her wallet as she tucked the blaster into the side of her belt. "We should probably talk to the crew before making any decisions - Soren, you said you'd let them know the fight's over. And can you grab me a cup of Crimson Chai with cream and Poojat sugar while you're at it? Thanks." "I don't think we scared them off - They're probably still tailing us, waiting for us to drop our guard." "No - You need to keep yourself from getting killed; either Zaria or I'll stay back. And besides, didn't you say you'd go talk to the crew?"
-
"No, just clearing my throat." "No, no, I know that - I'm just not sure we have the time to run back, grab the gauntlet, then come get the cube, and be back in our seats, by the time we get to Con'stap. Plus, M-Tec is probably already tipped-off that someone is after the cube, so they'll be on alert for any attempts on their property - And, if we leave the cube unattended, Blackguard can just swoop back around and take it while we're on the other side of the train."
-
"Um, yeah. . . M-Tec. . . " Yelana rubbed the side of her neck and looked down, mumbling softly. "<Control: Alert the Quorum that this op just got far higher priority and classification. I'll have more in my debrief - Fennix out.>" "Right, I'm not sure how we'd get it out without the gauntlet, or how we could even carry it. Just the same, we should probably look over the documents again - Maybe we missed something? Zaria?" OoC:
-
Yelana shrugged. "She may, but she's checking on the engineers right now, and I seriously doubt she'd disagree you took some bad hits back there!" "Yeah, but I mean, look at it - It's throwing off weird sounds, no discernible pattern. And I can't see what it actually is - The cube's just a containment unit; the actual source is inside it. It's not like anything - well, almost anything. . . I've seen before." OoC:
-
Yelana muttered to herself. "Consistent light fluctuations and radiation output, but random sonic frequencies? What kind of. . . !" Yelana choked back a short gasp, before composing herself. "<Tell me this thing's not alive! Scan for any indications. . . Maybe it's just magic? Still weird. . . >" "<SCANNING. . . >" OoC:
-
OoC: Remaining crouched, Yelana glanced over the gear, picking up the Tactical Leathers and looking over her shoulder. "Hey, Soren: Over here a sec. What do you make of this thing? It's dangerous, but I can't get a read on what it actually is. Oh, and here. . . " Yelana handed Soren the Tactical Leathers. "I know you can't use these now, but, like, do a push-up or something. You need armour! Plus it fits with the whole black-trenchcoat-and-sunglasses thing you've got going." OoC:
-
Yelana crouched down by the scattered gear, focusing her attention on the cube. "Hmmm. . . <Compositional analysis, enhance audio, and see if we can map those frequencies visually. . . >" "<ANALYSING. . . ANALYSIS COMPLETE. ENHANCING. . . SCANNING. . . UNABLE TO COMPLY DUE TO RADIATION INTERFERENCE>" "Shit." OoC:
-
Yelana stepped forward, rubbing the back of her neck. "Uuuggghhh. . . <Scan the cube - All data we can get.>" "<SCANNING. . . >" Stretching her neck with a crack, Yelana turned to the rest of the party. "Remember that godsdamn headache I said I had? Yeah, it's worse now. Ugh. I really need tea. . . " "Uh. . . We should probably clean this shit up, first. And seriously - No acknowledgment that my plan was the better course of action? Really? Whatever. . . Zaria, check the engineers and make sure they're still stable."
-
"LRTS property, you mean. And sure, let's keep this little dance up until we get to Con'stap, instead of ending it now and working on our exit strategy. Whatever you say, pilot-who's-scared-to-get-onto-a-ship." Yelana scoffs and rolls her eyes, as she replaces her rifle onto her back. OoC:

I know that I should stay out of this, but are you actually saying that the Everyone is Awesome set is somehow comparing straight White males to the Taliban and the Nazis??? -

A three-set space subtheme is rumoured for City 2022: -
No need to worry/apologise - This pandemic is incredibly draining (See my posting habits! 😬)! BTW, regarding mobile data usage: If you can, toggle the data off when you are not actively using your phone. This will keep your phone from using up data as apps background-refresh themselves. I hope that this helps. 😕

OoC: "Okay, now this is just getting annoying." "Actually, that'd be the next-to-last mistake he's made - I've got it from here; You and Soren just stay where you are." "Pierce was right: You really need to work on paying attention to your surroundings. <Set to kill - Target locked.>" Yelana aims her rifle at the lefthand edge of the tank in H1 and fires.

"I was trying to talk shit out! We were both hired for the same job, likely by the same person - I still don't know what's going on, but I prefer to know what I'm dealing with, instead of just shooting first and forgetting about asking questions!" Yelana gritted her teeth and aimed her rifle at Slice. "<Target locked.>"
