Recently, user PeabodySam on the Research Realm Discord server discovered a long-lost Adventurers theme via a (now-disabled) BrickLink inventory comparison tool! Across ten sets (five per subtheme), Johnny Thunder and Dr. Kilroy would have returned to Egypt and faced off against living mummies and Anubis-headed guards (what is this, some kind of Pharaohâs Quest?), then wrangled brickbuilt dinosaurs in an unspecified location! These sets never released, however, though some elements of them were repurposed (such as the Wyvern in set 7016, which began as a pterodactyl). Based on posts here on Eurobricks, there may have been some images of these sets circulating around the time the theme was cancelled (2005), but nothing has been found yet; that said, the inventories can be used to try to reverse-engineer these sets. I am linking the Brickipedia page for the cancelled theme, along with the inventory files - All credit goes to PeabodySam for finding and organising this piece of LEGO history! Sets: - Egypt: - 7425 - 7426 - 7427 - 7428 - 7430 - Dino: - 7431 - 7432 - 7433 - 7434 - 7472

LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Mythosaur guy is an individual (despite the asset being reused in the background of some shots), so I would prefer to get him in a larger set (i.e. not a battle pack). The Death Watch variant with yellow lines on the helmet is an Airborne unit, and they make the most sense to appear in a battle pack of the three specialist types (as they would use the existing Mando jetpack piece), and the standard DW warrior would give LEGO an opportunity to finally make a proper Fett jetpack piece! Hopefully we get a Death Watch/Mandalorian Loyalists pack at some point in the future (ideally with 1x regular trooper, 1x Airborne, and 2x female Nite Owls). After having built my backlog of Mando S3 packs, I think I know why LEGO is going with this breakdown. The Mandalorians in that set look similar enough to the TCW ones (and the shade of blue matches TCW Bo-Katan even better than her Mando âfig); including 332nd Clones in the SoM battle pack allows all three factions involved to be built via the two packs that are available (the Mando one does not have a retirement date listed on Brickset yet, so I can see it staying in production alongside the TCW pack), while also doubling as a Clone pack and giving the Imperial Armored Commandos a numerical advantage over the Mandalorian resistance forces. Source on dual-moulding being phased out?? That would be terrible if true, but I am not sure I buy it given that the Death Slice has dual-moulded Stormtrooper helmets and officersâ caps (one of which is actually a recolour, with brown hair). -
âYe claiminâ doctor be a fact, but ye beinâ doctor cannae be proven - Thar be a difference.â âFirst, if ye be tellinâ thâ truth, whoever ye protected would âave a point towards their loyalty. Second, ye made a claim with naught but a âtrust me, mateâ backinâ it up, the got yerself defensive when pressed foâ elaboration.â âBe Eagle scum or no, ye seem tâ think Duncan be a Redcoat - Why, then, would ye try anâ change yer vote? Methinks ye be scum, anâ yer protectinâ yer mate Duncan by beinâ so bloody scummy - Ye walk thâ plank, then Duncan looks loyal foâ beinâ against ye.â âPanic be a sign oâ scum too, mate - Good try contrastinâ yer response witâ Hammondâs, though.â
-
ââTis true, One-Leg lied about unvotinâ - But whyâd he, is me own question. He be Redcoat scum, no doubt, but if ye be right that Duncanâs loyal, why would a Redcoat draw votes off oâ a pirate? He could jusâ as easily âave switched his vote to ye, anâ a pirateâd still be walkinâ thâ plank tonight.â âNay; methinks Duncan be scum, anâ One-Leg be tryinâ a trick tâ get us tâ trust Duncan after he himself be voted down tâ Davy Jonesâ Locker!â âNot from where I be standinâ - One-Leg be scum, but I cannae say ye be in thâ clear yourself. Who did ye protect?â âWhile I âave me suspicions about Duncan, One-Leg can only be scum, what witâ his obvious lie anâ all!â Unvote: Duncan âParrot-Keeperâ Gage (def) Vote: James âOne-Legâ Hammond (Trekkie99)
-
âRight, anâ Iâm thâ bloody King oâ England! Iâll play, though - Whoâd ye protect, olâ sawbones?â âWhat ye mean?â âYe both be arguinâ semantics, but you Duncan be the scummier oâ thâ two!â
-
âI agree witâ ye - Methinks they tried startinâ a bandwagon on Eagle yesterday, then he Duncan got cold feet froâ thâ attention it drew, so he tried throwinâ his mate Cassidy under tâ draw suspicion off thâ other, should one oâ âem be made tâ walk thâ plank.â âEagleâs a bit suspicious too, witâ his general unhelpfulness, so should thâ scum be less organised, he be me choice foâ thâ second Redcoat amongst us - He Duncan be too scummy foâ us tâ ignore, though!â Vote: Duncan âParrot-Keeperâ Gage (def)
-
âThâ lynch oâ a pirate, combined witâ a nighttime kill by thâ scum, would be a win foâ thâ Redcoats by morn oâ day two - I merely am beinâ cautious, is all.â âThâ assumption Cannonballâs death clears Cassidy oâ suspicion is suspect in itself, methinks, as yer not considerinâ thâ possibility it may be a ruse.â âCome to think oâ it, how ye figure we got two days? By me own count, âtwould only be one, shouldna we get a Redcoat ân todayâs lynch!â
-
âI donât be followinâ yer line oâ reasoninâ - Be ye sayinâ his death limits what we can infer froâ it? âTis possible, though methinks thâ clearinâ angle holds moâ water, so to speak.â âRum in front oâ me, doncha mean? Wine be foâ Bluecoats, mate!â
-
âAye, that it would - Unless ye be wantinâ tâ throw suspicion off oâ yeâself. Even odds, I say, whether ye be loyal oâ scum.â âI be findinâ thâ rush tâ clear Cassidy a mite suspicious - Not tâ mention thâ lockstep oâ you Duncan, and Cassidy. A bit oâ yer colours be showinâ, anâ they be red methinks.â âActionable information matters only if ye be a loyal pirate - Do ye think weâve a killer on our side, anâ they jusâ hit the wrong target?â
-
âBlimey! Anâ here I be thinkinâ thar wouldna be a kill on thâ first night! Might the privateer scum be hopinâ tâ get a lynch ân their favour today, puttinâ this little game tâ an end by thâ morrow?â
-
âThat they do - Anâ ye be startinâ one. . . â
-
âWhat we think thâ privateersâ strategy be? Target one they ken tâ be loyal, or wait anâ jump a wagon-oâ-bands once a vote arises from natural suspicion?â âEither may be thâ case, but tâ ensure noâoneâs ganged-up off thâ gangplank, methinks Iâll Vote: Duncan âParrot-Keeperâ Gage (def). Duncan (@def), âave ye anythinâ tâ say?â
-
âCannonball (@Tariq j), what say ye?â
-
âWhilst I agree witâ thâ sentiment, Duncan, we cannae risk killinâ a loyal, honest, Pirate on aught but a hunch. Methinks thâ privateer scum âave but two ân their number, anâ jusâ one kill betwixt âem - Anythinâ more, and weâd be ân Davy Jonesâ Locker by morn!â âMy two-pence, foâ what it be worth, is we ought investigate Eagle duringâ thâ night - should we âave one amongst us loyal lot witâ such an ability - anâ save thâ plank for thâ morrow.â

I mean that we should be getting two versions of Vader - One ANH, and one RotJ. I was mostly referring to the placement of the robe in relation to the armour (ANH has robe over armour, while RotJ has armour over robe). You are right that the current Vader Minifig is not accurate to any specific design, as he has the green chest box light from RotS/ANH, but the red switch (and placement thereof) of ESB/RotJ. -

Probably about the same thickness, but upon reflection, printing would probably be sufficient. I wonder if it will be a vertically-cut hemisphere? The set could be designed to mount on a wall, but also have interior scenes that are visible if displayed on a table. This gives multiple display options, and actually makes more sense than a giant ball or a big Kenner-style playset diorama. -

Lineup, as of the most recent pic: - Luke (ANH farmboy) - Luke (ANH Stormtrooper disguise) - Luke (RotJ final duel) - Leia (ANH) - Han (ANH) - Han (ANH Stormtrooper disguise) - Chewbacca - Obi-Wan (ANH) - C-3PO - R2-D2 - Darth Vader (//ANH// RotJ) - Palpatine (RotJ) - âImperial Dignitaryâ (RotJ) - Yularen (ANH) - Motti (ANH) - Tagge (ANH) - Krennic (R1) - Galen Erso (R1) - 5D6-RA-7 Protocol Droid (ANH) - Stormtrooper (5x) - Death Star gunner (2x) - Imperial technician/Scanning crew (2x) - Shuttle pilot/Security officer (ANH, RotJ - 1x) - Royal Guard (RotJ - 2x) - Astromech droid (ANH - Either R3-T6 or R3-A2, depending on whether the print is red or reddish orange) - Hot Tub Stormtrooper (1x) Tarkin is also confirmed via the first leaked pic, so he must be one of the covered âfigs in the second (possibly the first on line 2?), and there are a total of six Minifigs either covered or cropped in the second pic. Presumed missing Minifigs: - Tarkin (confirmed in the set), line 2 - Stormtrooper (sixth overall), line 3 - Imperial Navy Trooper (2x), line 4 - Security/Stormtrooper officer Captain 1x), line 4 - TIE Pilot (1x), line 4 //I can also see RotJ Vader being on line 2 (ANH is confirmed via the first pic, but the torso is difficult to make out on the second; RotJ also makes sense for the final duel section, and can be included via a reuse of the existing Minifig), pushing Tarkin to line 3 (in place of a sixth Stormtrooper).// The placement of Minifigs in order from named to generic also rules out Bast, Romodi, or Jerjerrod (as the only possible slots for them are on line 4). Thank the maker and the Great Bird of the Galaxy!! This makes âImperial Dignitaryâ even stranger, though, since if they had made Guinanâs hat without the moulded hair (inaccurate, but not unacceptably so), Kren Blista-Vanee could have reused it. Regardless, we should have at least gotten Janus Greejatus (the most prominent advisor, alongside Sim Aloo aka âImperial Dignitaryâ), especially since he shares a hat mould with Sate Pestage. đ At least Grand Admirals Sloan and Rax can be made from existing pieces, so no major loss in that respect. Uh, conference room??? The detention block would make a better playset than diorama, but it also has not appeared outside of the MBS set. While I agree, it is just yet another point against the most expensive LEGO set to-date. đ Edit: Upon closer inspection of the first images, Vader is actually RotJ, not ANH! đ€Ź This makes him yet another lazy reuse, and we still do not have an ANH Vader in production! I really just hope that the ANH torso does not get paywalled behind the GWP, though I can absolutely see that happening now!! -

The helmet looks antiquated next to the more modern ones, as does the Minifigâs overall design (no apparent leg printing, the Harry Potter cape, etc) - The helmet is too large and thick (and the visor groove is unsightly), and the âchinâ extends too far over the torso (it should be tall, slender, and only cover a quarter of the torso rather than a third). Ideally, an updated version would have (printed) dark red torso and legs, a new red cloak element (either cloth or vinyl), and an updated (either dual-moulded or solid and printed) helmet; that said, I would also be OK with just a new helmet and printed skirt paired with the existing torso. -
âMethinks they âave, One-Leg, as privateers - All the rum anâ gold oâ a pirateâs life, witâ none oâ the imperial. . . entanglements, shall we say? Even thâ dread Capân Foul never stooped so low!â âYe never heard oâ spirits, boy? . . . They says the seven seas be haunted by those oâ sailors anâ scallywags whoâve thâ misfortune oâ dyinâ so far from land - But donâ ye worry, the olâ Dark Sharkâs weathered many a squall in âer time!â

OK - Where to start?? đ Palpatine should have the classic hood piece; âImperial Dignitaryâ needs skirt printing, and his being unnamed means that we are only getting one of Palpatineâs advisors (which is a major missed opportunity, as a $1,000 Death Star is the perfect place for a multitude of Glup Shittos); the Royal Guard is woefully outdated now, and in need of a full redesign (new dual-moulded helmet, printed skirt piece); Krennic does not appear to have leg printing, which makes his holster cut off awkwardly (it should extend onto the leg, as Dedra Meeroâs does); Galen Erso should have printed arms, but I doubt that he will; the lack of dual-moulded legs for Han and farmboy Luke is bad enough, but Tarkin/Motti/Tagge having solid grey legs (instead of the currently-in-production dual-moulded ones!!) is absolutely kriffing unacceptable (and C-3POâs lack of a dual-moulded right leg is is similarly infuriating); Yularen has white legs (rather than the correct black), which though a minor issue, is again an absurd oversight for such a set (though at least they refer to him by the correct rank now đ). Also, given the placement of figures in the lineup, I doubt that we will get Bast or Romodi (though they could be on a page with Navy Troopers and a Security captain (4 blue)). For the positives, I am glad we are finally some getting new desirable Imperials, as well as updates of ones already produced; Vaderâs torso is new (his ANH design!), so hopefully this version will reappear in less expensive sets; the ANH heroes (plus RotJ Luke) have updated designs as well, so again I expect them to appear in future sets; the generic Imperial personnel (Hot Tub Stormtrooper aside) all seem to reuse Minifigs/parts from the ISD (the shuttle pilot appears to have the Navy Trooper torso and black officerâs cap), so BrickLink prices on them should not be any higher than they are now; finally, SDA-RA-7 looks good. Just as an aside, I would be willing to bet gold-pressed latinum that the âImperial Dignitaryâ hat gets reused for Guinan in the Enterprise-D, as it is close enough to one of the purple hats she wore that I can see LEGO using it for her (in fact, it would not be surprised if the ability to use a new weird hat mould for two Minifigs is the only reason that we got âImperial Dignitaryâ in the first place!). The age ranges on those are too low for anything like a TIE Avenger or the Fondor, so definitely âcalibrate your enthusiasmâ (NOT a hint - Just a good bit of advice!). -
DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, though his skin is typically lighter when he has the red/green suit, and darker in his grey/black suit depictions (from what I have seen, at least) - The existing Damian Wayne Minifigs are actually fine skin tone-wise, but grey/black Damian should definitely have had darker skin. Cassandra Cain (as Orphan) would only require a new torso print (as leg or arm printing is unrealistic, sadly), and could reuse Sabine Wrenâs head. đ«€ -
DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Clayface could have reused the VIDIYO slime headgear piece (most recently used for Z-Blob in Dreamzzz), if the part is still in production, so I am not sure why he was not included. That said, excluding Clayface is probably the least confusing and/or lazy Minifig decision in this set - Batwoman should have had dual-moulded legs, Batwing is an odd character to include, Damian should have darker skin, Bane and Killer Croc should have been shirtless, and leg printing for the jumpsuits is an unnecessary waste of a âchangeâ. đ«€ -

âAhoy, mates! I hear thar be renegades in our midst - No matter, weâll have âem walkinâ the plank âfore our next port oâ call!â, Percy said, giving his pistol a few twirls as he leaned casually against the railing of the Black Seas Barracuda.
