  1. Yelana drops her eyes just quickly enough to scan the parchment. OoC:
  2. Yelana laughed. "I think like half the Arm knows about Cosmopoli! . . . Which reminds me: What's with everyone memeing about putting things into a dishwasher to heal them? Like '*Has headache.* *Puts head in dishwasher.*' - It's all over the place, and I didn't have time to see why, aside from it being from one of Yissamβ™₯'s recent streams!" Chuckling again, Yelana sipped her tea. Looking back up at Captain Nezzar, Yelana resumed her more professional demeanour. "Understood. Personally, I have no desire to engage with the Space Police, but if they're good at one thing, it's keeping corporate property out of the hands of thieves - That's why I found it somewhat odd that they weren't involved in capturing the Red Hand in the first place." Yelana nods and sits back in her chair a bit. Raising an eyebrow coyly, she looks directly at Nezzar. "And that's purely out of curiosity, of course." Turning as the woman walked past the table, Yelana quickly glanced at the note handed to Nezzar, allowing her visor to scan it, then looked up at Vielight. "I'm good - You?" OoC: Yelana watched as Vielight left the cabin, then turned to look at Captain Nezzar. "Hmmm. . . There something between them?", she thought. OoC: "That was actually going to be my next question, Polaris - Does Knothole get many visitors during its Harvest Week celebrations? If not, we'll need a cover." Yelana pauses, considering her next words carefully. "Captain Nezzar, respectfully, I believe landing the Satyr's Song on Aluriel will draw too much attention - Particularly so, if we touch down near Knothole. I would recommend that we take an unmarked shuttle, so as not to arouse any suspicion or tie our activities to the council - With your permission, of course." OoC:
  3. OoC: "Right - I meant, who creates sentient Warbots, like, who creates a Warbot, then gives it life? As far as I'm concerned, that's slavery." Yelana smirks a little, then turns serious as Bers tells his story. "Oh, I'd never ask how - I know that's a secret. . . And I'm sorry you went through all that." Yelana paused for a moment. "If I may ask, do you have any idea where you were built, or how long ago? You said 'wars' - plural - so unless you're from Imperial space, you're either from out west, or you're far older than you look."
  4. "So, Bers, do you know who built you? I'm wondering. . . Who makes sentient Warbots? The ones I'm familiar with are all Deadcode."
  5. "Sounds handy", Yelana says, thinking of the potential uses for such a creature. OoC: "Was Harrigan a League citizen, or did he just join up with them during the War? And why hasn't the ITA gotten involved? The SP was founded to protect corporate interests, so I'm surprised his former associate is in League custody instead of behind laser-bars." "Oh, I'm not worried about getting cancelled - I'm worried about getting the wrong person arrested. I mean, that's why you hired us, isn't it - To make sure that you have the right guy?" OoC: Yelana takes a sip of tea. "Makes sense. . . I'm getting it." OoC: "Well, it's like you said", Yelana replied coyly, "Information is my occupation, and gathering it is my specialty." Punctuating her words with a smirk and a look in her eyes somewhere between flirtation and deep suspicion, she took another sip of tea. Putting down her cup, she addressed Nezzar again. "So, let me throw that back at you - What made you choose Heroica for this mission?" OoC: OoC:
  6. "What about Hungry Ghosts? They can be dangerous. . . Though if one were around, you've picked up the rad signature." Yelana sips her tea again as she listens. "Interesting. . . Is it possible Harrigan's the one behind Teclion's disappearance? And what makes you believe our target - Harrigan, or 'Fix-It', or whoever it is - is in danger? Does Harrigan have enemies within the intel council who'd take the case into their own hands, once they had his location? Or former associates trying to silence him before the trial?" "That's not enough to go on; he just sounds like some random blacksmith or scrapper. . . Do you have any pictures or holos of Harrigan? Voice recordings? Genetic material that we can compare with Fix-It's? I don't want this turning into a case of racial profiling." OoC: "Now, if it turns out that Fix-It is Harrigan, and he finds out about our investigation and tries to run, what's our move? Just let him go, or try to arrest him? My rifle has a stun setting - it's actually what I use most often - so I can make sure we bring him in alive."
  7. Yelana raised an eyebrow. "'Curious'? How so?" OoC: Tapping her fingers on her cup of tea, Yelana listens intently to Captain Nezzar. "So, how much does the intelligence council really know about Harrigan? You said his crime spree lasted about two years - What did he do before then? Who was he, before he became a notorious pirate? And are we sure the tip-off was legit? The informant could've been a double agent, and Harrigan was never on the Red Hand to begin with. . . But that doesn't explain a potential sighting on Aluriel." Yelana thought for a moment. "What about Quantum Transposition? What tactics did he typically use in his raids? It's possible he teleported off the ship right before it went down, then lay low for the next six months. That'd explain why he's still on Aluriel - if 'Mr. Fix-It' actually is Harrigan - But why Knothole? Small towns are a great place to hide - If you don't mind everyone being up in your business. Word travels fast, and someone as notorious as Harrigan would likely be recognised - and gossiped about - in less than six months. . . " Yelana nods to Bers in affirmation. "I appreciate hospitality, Polaris, but we are here to do a job - Let's not forget that."
  8. Are you referring to the 90th Anniversary set? If so, no, we do not.
  9. Yelana took a long sip of her tea, then addressed Captain Nezzar. "Captain, I, we, appreciate the lengths you've gone to to welcome us, but if I may ask, if we could skip past the initial formalities, and you could tell us a bit more about the job you have for us?" OoC: Yelana snaps her head around as the Adamite sits down at the table. "Bers - You good??"
  10. Yelana walked through the frigate's corridors, sipping her tea and looking around at the ship's crew at work. As she steps into the captain's cabin, Yelana is surprised by its lavishness - And that of the feast before her. "A little much for such a low-level op", she thinks to herself; "Wonder what this guy wants. . . ". She ponders this as she sits down, placing her cup on the table and turning her seat to face Captain Nezzar. OoC:
  11. "That'd be great - Thanks!" "Wait, Wranquen Rainlight is on the board? What's he doing here? No offence - I just mean, half the companies in the Arm'd love to have him on, so. . . Why here, of all places? Again, no offence." Yelana glanced over her shoulder at the Missionboard. "Ah, shit - I've got to go. Can you set up a meeting with him for me when I get back? I'd like to chat." Yelana grabbed her tea and hurried out of the Hall.
  12. I know - The two sets probably can connect, but my point was that I do not think that LEGO added the supports specifically so that it could.
  13. Both the large section on the right and the central tube appear to use the airlock pieces, so should be able to connect to the 2019 station (with minimal modifications to both sets). The Gateway may also be able to connect to the left side of the moonbase, since it can be elevated.
  14. The moonbase is built directly on the ground, though, and this is clearly a space station (based on the Lunar Gateway). Those supports are most likely intended to keep the model from falling over, since the large pod on the right extends down below the sections on the left.
  15. You may have posted this in the wrong thread. πŸ™‚
  16. What feature are you using in Stud.io? I plan to use it for my quests as well (when I eventually get around to running one!), and these renders are brilliant! πŸ‘
  17. "'Wranquen'?" Yelana muttered to herself as she walked over to the tree and picked up a Briefcase, then returned to her seat at the bar. "That's not a common name, but. . . "
  18. Yelana nods to Heisenberg as he leaves. Clearing her throat and staring off into space, she finished her tea wordlessly. The unexpected celebration snaps Yelana out of her thoughts, as she looks around the hall at the tree and the decorations being put up. "Um. . . Who dragged that in here? Or was it always here? Forgot it was almost Yul'Yom. . . " Yelana stands up from the bar and stretches. Yelana turned on her seat, resting the Briefcase on her leg as she did. "Hey, Thorvald - Do you happen to know who 'Wranquen' is?" Yelana hopped up from her seat. "Roger - Maybe they've got a Yul'Yom feast planned? IDK. . . Oh, and can you make me another cup of Crimson Chai, to go? Extra strong, cream, Poojat sugar - You know. Thanks."
  19. Yelana coughed gently from the smoke, then replied almost equally excitedly. "Oh, I didn't mean it to sound negative - When I first read Thudaal literature, I was like, 'yeah, I get the point, do have anything else to say?', but I was completely missing the actual point of the texts. . . It also didn't help that I tried skimming it! Thudaal lit is very linguistically-dense, which makes skimming impossible, but that's the point - It's supposed to be a meditation on the nature of the experience of life. It's really fascinating and engaging, once you get used to the style and what it's doing." "No problem; it was just something on my mind. . . Don't worry about it." Yelana somewhat forces a smile at Heisenberg, not over their conversation, but so as to not give away her growing anxieties. "Okay - Thanks, and her office is up. . .stairs? Right?" Smiling, Yelana chuckles to herself. "Okay, let me know if you change your mind - Or want to, that is. . . Get it? Because I'd be. . . Never mind." OoC Character Note:
  20. Pausing for a moment to think, Yelana sipped her tea. "Well, let's see. . . What's not classified. . . Uh, not very daring, but I lost a perfectly good pair of chopsticks to a laser; that was annoying. What else? . . . Hmmm. . . Sorry, I've just got a lot on my mind right now. . . Oh!" Yelana set her cup down. "How long did you say you've been staying in the penthouse suite? When I joined, there was a Warbot here - not Bers, a droid - but he disappeared after my first mission. That was about a month ago; I was wondering if you'd seen him. He went by 'Tester-Three', if that helps?" "I can take a look at that, if you want - Although, there may be a reason those blockers were installed. Maybe something you wanted to forget? You won't know until you disable them, though. . . "
  21. Yelana shrugged and took a sip of tea. "Eh, you just seemed really interested in the building, so it felt like a reasonable question to ask. That's all." Yelana raised an eyebrow over her cup; "Oh, what? I can't have two jobs?" she said, smirking a bit as she put her cup down. "You'd be surprised, actually; a lot of the same thought-processes that go into analysing literature - or any art, really - overlap with intel work. Finding patterns, for example - Plus it gives you insight into the culture or person that produced it. I mean, you mentioned story structure, think about how intensely repetitive Thudaal stories are when compared to, say, Human ones. It makes sense, though, when you look the differences between Human and Thudaal cosmologies." Yelana finished the last bite of her croissant and started pouring herself more tea. "That's Rachelle. . . 'Sprockton'? I don't think we've met - Is that Enson's friend?" Yelana turns to greet Bers. "Oh, hey! No problem at all; nice upgrades, by the way, I like your new face! . . . Okay. . . that was a really weird thing to say, but you know what I meant."
  22. I had never actually noticed that before, but from what I have gleaned from a quick Google search, there are three varieties of basic Clones: P1 with belt boxes on the sides, P2 with belt boxes on the sides, and P2 with belt boxes towards the front - The last of which is the closest to the movie design and what LEGO based the 2020+ torsos on, so I am fine with their being used for AoTC P1s.
  23. I hope that we get a mix of both the 2022 and 2019 figures, since both types are useful (and they are not interchangeable). There is currently no plain Clone torso in the new style, so the print will be new. Also, there is no difference between plain P1 and P2 Clone armour aside from the helmets (so this pack increases our chances of getting P2 Shinies, since we will now only need a slightly altered P2 helmet print).
  24. They do look similar, but the NK helmet has more texture and detailing, while the City one is smoother/sleeker and is dual-moulded (not that you can tell from the front).
