  1. Yeah! I went ahead and mentioned it on the City 2022 forum. Feel free to comment about it on there.
  2. Is there a forum on here for GWPs?
  3. I'll do even better. Here is a link to the set on the official site. This is where you can see pictures of the different details of the set. I'll also send you a video. There are plenty of videos building it too, but here is a video from one of the greatest faces in the Lego community.
  4. On another note..... It may only be a small promotional set, but that sandwich shop is AWESOME!!!! I love how it comes with a road plate; making it very easy to connect to your town - if your town is supported by road plates like mine is and for a small buildng, it looks rather detailed. I also love how its basically a little drive thru for 4-stud wide automobiles (which all the automobiles in my town are) with a teller machine, serving window and a small eating area. Personally, I wish Lego would do more of these as promotional sets. For those of you who are wondering how I got one, I sorta.........kinda.......cheated and went on eBay to find it. nervously smiles Yup! If you want one that bad for your town (There's no shame in that), its easy to find them on eBay despite them being only promotional sets. If you're in the US or Canada, you may have to wait a while as most of the sellers are in Europe. But if my experience recieving it could say anything......its worth the wait.
  5. Ah yes! VIP Add-Ons! My favorite one was the City 40578 Sandwich Shop. So question: What is your favorite promotional set?
  6. I'm sorry! I don't really understand your question. Would you mind telling me what you mean? EDIT: Nevermind, I get what you're saying now. Yes they did back in 2012. It was when City was beginning to expiriment with emergency situations that were based outside of the City and it was part of the Forest Fire subtheme. However, it wasn't referred to as a command unit, though it technically was. But it was called the 4430 Fire Transporter and it carried some type of amphibian vehicle. I never owned that set though as I was going through a rough financial situation and couldn't afford to buy Lego at the time. It obviously didn't do as well as Forest Police though, thus the reason why we haven't seen an out-of-the-city based fire subtheme since. Though judging from the box art and the construction of the fire station from the 2019 fire wave, I can assume that one took place near the sea.
  7. Unless a reasonably sized charging post is included, I'm betting on a 6-stud wide vehicle judging off of how Lego has done single boxed City automobiles since 2019.
  8. I have it! But I eventually broke it up for parts.
  9. On another note.......my other curiousity goes toward the electric sports car. I'd hope for it to be 4-stud wide, but that hope won't last long. I'm assuming it'll be like the sports car that came out in 2021, but only a different color and electric. I think it should be green to represent "going green", if you know what I mean.
  10. Don't worry! You know how we clown on this forum. Some of us say "unfollowed" as a playful joke towards you not really understanding something or asking a silly question.
  11. Now that's a piece I'd like to have in my collection. I have kinda been a foamer for collecting minifig accessories lately, just in case I decide to make a specific character. A crutch with an armband sounds just perfect for my minifig accessory collection.
  12. Yeah! I think they did that with the school bus from this year's school set. I kinda wish they do a parking lot road plate pack with a handicapped/disabled driver parking space. That would give us more closure in the City theme.
  13. Now that would be nice! Until Lego does that, I had to use the wand pieces from Harry Potter as something like that.
  14. Begins to sing Eye Of The Tiger. Anyhoo! I plan to buy some of the buildings that come in this theme. I try not to include ethnic stereotypes in my city, but eh....why not give a Chinatown for my city a try.
  15. I also would recommend a walker piece. Perhaps that could represent a person with leg (changed the wording as to not offend) or back issues. Yeah! That's actually true. Can you believe I actually made it through public school with it? To make a minifig with autism is like trying to make one that's LGBTQ+. You have to use your imagination. I don't even know why I recommended it.
  16. Look! I said I was sorry. I never heard of it being a derogatory term. Not everyone is up to date with everything going on in the world. Everyone is not perfect either. Either that or people are just overreacting like @Mandalorianknightsaid. Sheesh! Now we're getting off topic. So I'm going to just mute this chat. To the moderators: Sorry if it comes across as backseat moderating. I just felt it had to be said.
  17. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to upset. I didn't know how else to ask. My sincere apologies. As a person with autism (ASD to be specific) I just felt they deserved an appearance.
  18. Yellow people are better than flesh toned. No race or ethnicity involved. What if you start a Lego fanfiction and need voice actors? No need to be ethnically correct. So yellow will always be superior.
  19. Given the topic of this forum, I feel the need to ask this here. How would Lego portray a crippled person with buckled legs? They covered wheelchair bound people, deaf people and amputated people. But what about a crippled person? Just thought I'd ask. I'm also thinking about making some portrayal of a person with autism or down syndrome.
  20. It was mainly from a personal standpoint that I was speaking on because I spoke from the personal experience of getting sets before they were taken off of the shelves. On top of that, I said "probably". That doesn't mean it's going to happen.
  21. What @TeriXeri said pretty much sums up what I was trying to say in regards to the sets retiring. Now in regards to pricing, I'll admit....I was an idiot. I guess to me, it was just worth it given that City never got a grocery store and probably never will again. It was a similar situation with the school.
  22. $53 ain't bad for what you get, in my opinion. Not for a set like that. I got mine from the Lego store (What a dumb move that was) and paid almost $80. If it does, I will be super upset at myself. I guess I panicked because they were saying that it was going to be a 2022 exclusive, meaning that it was also going to be taken off the shelves in 2022. I guess it's just a rumor though.
  23. It's often sought after and its rare. That's why it's priced so high. Its one of the special sets. If Lego knows that people are going to want it, they price it at a certain point.
