  1. Yeah I heard that back in the late 2010s, to question the need for City being oversaturated with police and fire sets was something you didn't do on Eurobricks. Now it's okay because City is different now (If not better imo) than it was back then.
  2. So then hold up.....if they mark up because they know people will buy...... How come they don't do that with police or fire sets? I guess they don't sell like they did back in the late 2010s anymore. I guess complete and udder failure of Sky Police cause Lego to back track on their City sets. Then there was the second round of the Feds/Elite Police subtheme in late 2020.
  3. I payed almost $80 USD for mine. They could've at least given me a roof for what I paid. But it was worth it given that it fits into my town perfectly.
  4. I don't have that one and I won't be buying. No room for trains in my town. Soory I couldn't be of any help there! I only brought the train station because I needed the bus. I took the pieces from the train station building and converted it into a bus terminal. It actually worked.
  5. IKR! In fact, I had to pay a marked up price for the grocery store. That's sad. We'll, thankfully the train station and city bus was free as I had a voucher saved up from the long period where Lego had that weird system in place for redeeming your VIP points. Thank God they went back to the old system.
  6. I can't argue! Vehicles too! Was I the only one who was hoping that the motorcycle from the fire brigade set would be motorized?
  7. Love me some City sets. I hope the police academy and prison break sets are an extension to 60316. That way, I can make it into the ultimate police headquarters.
  8. Police sets are so common on the City theme that you can literally find them for cheap on the internet. You'll get way better deals online than at the store. I think that's why they're most ignored. Because......they're just that common.
  9. Actually......I got one on eBay for $50 USD. Of course if you ex out the small $7 shipping fee.
  10. Worth it most definitely! That's a way better price than $70 USD. That's the price it should've been imo. But of course Brick tax has gone up tremendously since 2005 when the first Lego City police headquarters came out.
  11. Nah! I don't think its too soon. From what I saw, the Ocean Exploration subtheme has been gone since last year.
  12. Oh yeah! That was it. Yes! Also give us a pelican and jellyfish mold. I think nautical themed City sets have given us a surplus of sea creatures though; octopuses, sharks, crabs, fish and stingrays. The latter was in the 2020 Ocean Exploration subtheme.
  13. Would be a good subtheme to introduce a pelican mold.
  14. Nope! It didn't show up in coast guard. But I'm pretty sure City had nautical themed set with a dolphin. I just don't remember what it was.
  15. Last time we saw the coast guard subtheme was in 2017. I made a MOC coast guard headquarters out of the 2022 beach tower set. It was pretty easy. But I just would like to see how it would look by today's City standards.
  16. That was my point in response to Jonwil. Technically coast guard is one of those themes that has animals; mainly sea creatures such as sharks, crabs, fish, octopuses and I think I saw a dolpin in one set. Or maybe that was from the DIvers subtheme.
  17. Slow down there bud! We haven't seen coast guard in ages. Coast Guard is a subtheme that we have been fighting for just like we've been wanting farm, arctic and pretty much every subtheme that could give us animals to return. Thankfully Farm made a comeback this year.
  18. @minigrab I wish the coast guard sets were real. I'd also add another one. 60397: Coast Guard Towing Barge 442 pieces
  19. I don't think so. Not unless you do some serious modding to it. I see that set as more on a Creator 3in1 scale than a City scale.
  20. Um....what statement are you trying to make?
  21. I hope the building isn't shallow. Maybe it'll be like the tuning workshop. Maybe the car is four stud wide and doesn't have many pieces.
