Yeah! I saw those complaints myself and I was like "All the classic police stations (2014, 2017 and 2020) had random lift gates that led to nowhere. I mean...why is it any different now? However, I do have to admit that if they do exactly what you have in mind, that would actually be pretty cool given that the police station in my town (which is the 2022 btw) would officially become the best police headquarters out there.

The only sign of abandoned buildings that I have seen in City were mostly crooks hideouts and buildings that the fire brigade were putting out fires in. Police academy was a set I recommended once, but I actually had a people pack in mind. Not a building that has almost 900 pieces. That's even better though. I'm not complaining.

A restoration subtheme? Never thought of that before. How about an abandoned port authority?

I know it would cost at least 40 USD. But.... I wonder if they could do a Hummer-like limo set. All they have to do is take the 4x4 from this year's horse trailer set and extended it. Along with make it black.

Storage and Sorting LEGO
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Hinckley's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Man! Sadly I don't have a place where I can store my Lego properly. So all my bricks are all mixed up in a container while my builds are in another. I do hope to get a large set of drawers to sort my bricks easily. Something like what JANGBRICKS has. -
I miss the people packs! In 2019, when City was overstuffed with so much police sets, the people packs were one of the few things I looked forward to. The funfair people pack was my favorite. Thanks! Paradisa would be a good way to be equal in the Lego City theme. I also wouldn't mind if they put the taxi and limo together to make one side. Perhaps it could be a ride share service set thats part of a public transit subtheme or something. I know they probably won't happen, but we can always dream.

I wish Lego would do a standalone taxi or a limo set. Those would be awesome.

I never said don't talk about it at all. I'm just talking about the hype for them. We see the same animals every year for City; house pets or some species of wild animals. We do get the occasional bug every now and then. But for the most part, it's really nothing we haven't heard of in City before. Matter of fact, I put animals on the same level as emergency based sets. Overrated! Things like a doughnut shop (2019) or a grocery store (this year) get me interested.

Am I honestly a criminal (lame pun intended) for saying that? Recently, I have been hearing way more about animals than I do about buildings. On pretty much every Lego City forum, I see comments about animal moulds. To be honest, if it sounded like I was upset when I talked about animals being overrated, its kinda because I was. City is my favorite theme, but I would like to talk about other things other than animals.

Neville is my favorite. He's totally underrated. I like the Scottish twins too.

He was one of my favorite characters in Thomas and Friends. Sad how they did him and several other good characters that were only shown a handful of times.
