Can't wait to see it on shelves. I think I may convert it to a four stud wide though.

Buildings in Lego City street layout
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Matthias83's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the tag. The police station and fire department seem to be MOCs or heavily modified versions of the 7498 Police Station from 2011 and the 60004 Fire Station from 2013. The houses are Creator sets number 4954 Modern Town House and 6958 House. The other buildings are the 60053 Town Square set and the burning shed from 60003 Fire Emergency. -

Stuntz is totally different. How can I say that? Because there are stunt teams in real life who actually do stunts like that. Prime examples of that can be seen in the Universoul Circus that happens every year here in DC. But of course, City is not going to do a circus subtheme because of cancel culture and hints of animal abuse. But I think this would be close enough to that. I will also disagree on 2k Drive. 2k Drive is also realistic as custom cars are a thing and I do mean that there are people who customize their cars in crazy ways, thus the 2023 2k Drive sets. Heck, they may even add spinning propellars - though they don't seem to be lifting the car off the ground. Why do you think the Fast & Furious franchise became so popular? I still think Lego was inspired by that saga to do the 2k Drive custom car subtheme. Also, saber tooth tigers and woolly mammonths like the ones you saw in Arctic, actually existed - and proof of their existience can be found in almost all natural history museums accross the globe! Though they are extinct. As was said above by @Silverhurst, said animals were supposed to be "dead". But because its something for children, Lego didn't want to scare the crap out of the young children. But when you look at aliens.......well I ask you. Are they real? Can we prove that they are real? Do aliens actually fight in cities? City is supposed to be based on real life.
-
Yeah! I'm all for aliens too! But I just don't think they belong in City as City is more on the realistic side when it comes to scientific stuff like arctics, oceans, mines and space. However, everyone has argued me up and down that there will be aliens in these new City space sets that I'm almost coming accross as someone in denial.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thats not an even an unpopular opinion. That there is just straight up false. Lego has sets for KFOLS just as much as they do for TFOLs/AFOLs. But Lego also has tons of options for playability. So much so that there is absolutely no reason why possibilities should be limited. A quick visit to the official site will show you that. -
Noooooo! Me want bendy bus!
-
I say it fits more into Speed Champions as it is an 8-stud with vehicle. I love how you did the doors too! Sorta reminds me of a Ford B-Series with a Thomas bus body.

Your favorite non-licensed hero minifigures?
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Lion King's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Pepper Roni most definitely is one of my favorites. Lego Island is my main influence for getting into town building. As far as Lego is concerned, I owe Wes Jenkins everything. My other favorite non-licensed hero is Chase McCain.- 6 replies

Favorite themes
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to iluvspacepolice's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Because I'm a town builder, my favorite themes are City, Creator, Friends, Chinese New Year, some Ideas and Modulars. -
I don't have very many favorite non-licensed villains as I usually make up my own. But I do have one favorite..... THE BRICKSTER!!!!! The Brickster was of course one of the first people on Lego Island and the Infomaniac created him as his first friend. They had a great life, but one day, Infomaniac decided that he wanted to build more minifigures, which made him jealous. So he began to steal bricks to create his own island, known as Ogel Island. When he returned to steal more bricks, he was caught and arrested for stealing. The rest is history. But here's the thing. Its what we DON'T know about that guy that makes him soooooo mysterious! Like what REALLY happened between him and the Infomaniac? Did the infomaniac do something to hurt him? Did Infomaniac betray the Brickster in some way? Like I find it hard to believe that he destroyed an entire island because of petty jealousy. Brickster had to have been screwed over in some other way in order to go that far. So that's why Brickster is my favorite non-licensed villain. An authentic Brickster minifig was released in the Island Xtreme Stunts theme in 2002.

Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion

Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I actually like the Chinese New Year sets. I think some of them are good for town builders. -
Duke DeTain is back fellas! It's like Lego City Adventures is still here. Only the main characters are four teenagers who can do anything instead of one person to represent each line of work. I like this a lot better than LCA. Not that LCA was bad.

Bro YES!!!! I LOOOOOVVVEEEE that corn on the cob piece! Sometimes, I like to just order food molds off of eBay and Bricklink just for the heck of it. I may get some of those for my grocery store too.
-
Food pieces too! The 2022 Farm/Food Distribution System subtheme introduced a boiled egg mold with the chicken coup. We've also got a strawberry piece with the downtown set from this year.

Probably something exciting or something we've never seen before.

Minifigures with Disabilities: Discussion and Rumours

I would definately go for that walker piece. But as for the cane, I thought they already had one of those because of the elderly woman in this video. -
Minifigures with Disabilities: Discussion and Rumours
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Legochaek's topic in LEGO Town
Ok! So no bad intentions here but.....I wonder if Lego could do a head to represent a female with hirsutism. Like if they were to make a female's head, but add like a light mustache or a beard. Though....it probably doesn't count as a disability. It's more of a physical situation. I mean I figured that since they had torsos to represent muscular men and hair pieces to resemble bald headed men (though that can really be achieved by just not giving them a hair/head piece, I figure it would be good. But feel free to disagree. -
