Why are short-lived themes so good?
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
......and you can forget about it ending anytime soon. Police runs City. -
I'm surprised no one was triggered by Jang's statement on that though.

If you're annoyed by the stickers, you don't have to use them. Due to expenses, Lego won't do printed pieces for every set. Another option: You could just put the stickers on the side and use them for your MOCs. But as long as there is Lego, there will be stickers. That's fact.

LEGO Store "Build a Minifigure"
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to 22kane's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love the build a minifigure. Though I wish they allowed you to get more than three for $9. But i know what people here are gonna say. "Brick tax has gone up!" "I think its s good deal" -

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Private message me the link. -
THIS year's focus was on fire. Sky Police was just a stupid side business. Or should I say....trashy? Next year in 2020, we're just getting two extra fire sets - which I don't mind. Police is the subject for 2020.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Yeah. That's what I saw. -
Surprisingly no. I actually laughed when Jang said that he doesn't believe it did well given that he's the first one on YouTube to defend the extra police sets. Though he did say that the patrol car was the exception. Then again, he is pretty trustworthy and that could also be why next year's police sets are only 6 and most of them seem average. But I am curious to see how they'll look. Especially the police station. I hope that one is small but simple like the fire station.

Why are short-lived themes so good?
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
@Aanchir Hmmm...you bring up very accurate points. Also another thing I failed to mention. KFOLs grow up to be adults. Some of those KFOLs don't even give up Lego. So they become AFOLs. Considering that we're practically in the age of the grown child....I wouldn't be surprised if its growing. Let's also look at the amount of adult oriented and based themes and sets that have come out recently. Star Wars, Friends (the TV show), Modulars, Speed Champions, Simpsons, etc. On another note....looking at recent releases, I guess you can call City and Friends neutral themes that can target both children and young adults like myself. Ironically, my gf is actually a die hard Heartlake City fan. She's got every set from there. Like me with City. So here's how I'd mostly put it. KFOLs have City and Friends. By the time they become AFOLs, usually they would've evolved to modulars and Speed Champions for buildings and vehicles. -
I honestly wish buses got more attention than they do now.

I loved the X-Ray light. I also loved the ambulance. Though I ended up putting a vent piece on the front.
