  1. I should have read your comment on this thread before making my assumptions on the other one! I would rather have a Troll or Roman Lady as #16 than a Pineapple costume girl as #3. I agree! So our correct guesses could be : - Female pirate for @1panda and @roebuck - Viking Kid or Headbanger for @arnenielsen - Diver / Marine biologist for @Lego Dodo Bird and @lifeinplastic - Marine biologist, dentist and martial arts student for @darrel bricks - Marine biologist, female pirate and troll, or roman lady, or pineapple girl for me
  2. Thank you very much! That makes such a fun little logic game… Based on the previous hints, discussions and assumptions, I would say : 1) Has a sombrero. ↳ That's the leaked Piñata Boy! 2) Has the DC series piece for posing the fig ↳ A flying fig? Mabe a wingsuit basejumper? 3) Is a food costume girl ↳ Could be my Pineapple Suit minifig (consistent with the "new food costume mold" info) 4) Looks like a minifig from series 15 ↳ +1 for @leafan's Female Faun! [EDIT] Unfortunately, this would not be consistent with the gender swap hints! Maybe that's the great historical figure, which could look like the Frightening Knight - but I find it unlikely given the number of knights we already had in CMS. Maybe a very classy lady minifig to look like the Queen? [/EDIT] 5) Is a female counterpart for a figure from S12 ↳ The Pirate Wench! Female counterpart for the Swashbuckler. 6) Has an exciting printed torso with a classic LEGO set on it ↳ A Black Seas Barracuda print could look great! 7) It's an animal costumed girl ↳ With a new mold...A parrot costume could be nice if we got the pineapple! 8) Can go along with a figure from series 4 and one from series 7 ↳ This could be @ArneNielsen's correct pick : either a Viking Kid to go with Series 7 Viking Woman and Series 4 Viking, of a Headbanger to play with Series 7 Rocker Girl and Series 4 Punk Rocker. 10) Is a rehash from series 2 with a new accessory ↳ Could be @DarrellBricker's idea of the Martial Arts Student, rehash from the Series 2 Karate Master. Probably female given the previous hints on gender swaps. 12) Has footwear parts ↳ The female Diver/Marine Biologist, with flippers (and that awesome turtle)! 13) It's basically a rehash ↳ Could be @DarrellBricker's idea of a dentist : a more elaborate version of the rather basic one from the Assembly Square set. 15) Female counterpart for a guy from series 6. Oh yeah I didn't tell you that. ↳ If only she was a counterpart to the Highland Battler! No idea for #9, #11, #14 and #16...
  3. Cross-checking with the clues given in the Guessing Game thread : Like @Roebuck, I think we'll get a Pirate Lady counterpart to the Series 12 Swashbuckler If the turtle is the companion of a female diver, that could count as a counterpart to the Series 1 Deep Sea Diver And for a third one : An Aviatrix counterpart to the Series 3 Pilot is (alas!) unlikely, as one of the posters who listed her had no correct pick Probably no Fisherwoman counterpart to the Series 3 Fisherman, as there is only one animal and such a minifig would not really make sense without a fish Maybe Hip Hop Dancer, who could count as a female counterpart to the Serie 3 Rapper and could be my third correct pick in the guessing game
  4. Wow! Now the Bear Cavalry can have close air support...
  5. @Kai NRG Thank you very much for the advice! I'll take that into account to change the design of the doors. @The Reader Thank you! I have to admit that little tile is one of my favourite printed elements. It's so versatile! @Grover Thank you very much!
  6. I came to the same conclusion! The discussions on the Series 20 thread also nearly confirmed a turtle - IMO with the Biologist. That would mean that the Pirate Lady is not going to have a pet. Also, there will probably not be both a Pirate Woman and a Rat-suit Minifig, as @1Panda also listed the two of them but only has one correct pick. From @DarrellBricker's list, I'd say that Lion Suit Minifig could be correct : Itaria hinted that one of the costumed minifigs would be sort of a rehash, and a Lion Suit could count as a rehash of the Cowardly Lion. EDIT : probably no Lion Suit Minifig, as the animal suit mold is said to be new in the Series 20 thread.
  7. Indeed! The use of French makes also more sense as I'm the lady he answered to, and I indicated on my profile that I'm from France. So yay, turtle!! Thank you @Itaria No Shintaku! Unfortunately, the Terracotta Warrior was also listed by someone who had no correct pick...
  8. Ooh, given those clues and the ones in the Guessing Games topic, I really hope we'll get a non-cartoonish turtle!
  9. As an enthusiastic LEGO animal collector, I thought it could be useful to have a list of the ones available from Bricks & Pieces. Some information is given in the LEGO Animals and Latest news about LEGO animal moulds topics, but it may not be easy to find! So here are all the animals I found available from B&P today. I will try to keep that list up to date as often as possible - don't hesitate to complete or amend it! Note : I did not take Friends, Elves, Belville, single parts and brick-built animals into account, as I know I would not be able to maintain such a list. Also, other animals may be available upon direct request to the customer support service. 10. Chapter 2 - Of roofs and doors Previous | Next The building of Horgaard Hall is going on - sowly, but steadily. While the issue of the scale and size of the whole building is not yet completely solved, I focused on the porch and entryway to clarify my ideas. And by doing so, I had to face two design challenges : the border of the roof, and the entry doors. I really like "wedged" roofs. But building a nice border for such a roof is not exactly easy! After many trials and errors (and at least two coffees), I ended up with a rather satisfyign design - except from that pesky little gap in the middle of the rake. We'll see how it looks like with the definitive colors when my huge order of tiles, wedges and plates arrives. I had never built a functioning LEGO door before. But eventually, it was easier than I thought : after an interesting self-interrogation on whether the doors should open outwards (like modern-day public buildings doors) or inwards (like medieval defensive doors), I sketched a few designs, read some online tutorials, and voilà! Functioning hall doors. With pesky little gaps above and below.
  11. The first one is from the Chip minifig in the Disney Train Station (set #71044).
  12. I would be extremely disappointed if the Monkey Kid aesthetics are in line with this leaked pink tech fig rather than with the gorgeous Series 19 Monkey King.
  13. I'm delighted! This will definitely be a day 1 purchase.
  14. The LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith has been approved! The original includes many animals (a horse, a goat, a rabbit, an owl and two chicken), I really hope the final product will keep it that way!
  15. LEGO Ideas just gave us a great gift : the Medieval Blacksmith has been approved!
  16. The Medieval Blacksmith has been approved!!
  17. A whole flock of bluebirds! A pack of lionesses! And -uh- so many snakes! Your order is a Lego zoologist's dream come true. I have a single bluebird on its way, I didn't dare requesting more. I definitely should have!
  18. Let's give it a try… 1. Mouse-suit minifig (recolor of the year of the rat headgear) 2. Archaeologist (more like someone who could work in a museum than like the adventurer we got in Series 19) 3. Goddess of light (with a chinese flair, like depictions of Guanyin in fantasy movies) 4. Troll / orc (like Fantasy Era trolls, not like Trolls World Tour or bigfig trolls) 5. Cartoonist 6. Minifig with umbrella and raincoat (and a new duck mould!) 7. Aviatrix 8. Bear-suit minifig (brown or white bear) 9. Mech princess (in the footsteps of the Evil Mech, Laser Mech and Battle Mech from previous series) 10. Marine biologist (with turtle!) 11. Terracotta warrior 12. Pirate wench (with parrot!) 13. Roman lady 14. Hip-hop dancer 15. Pineapple-suit minifig
  19. Two very nice microscale castles showed up yesterday on LEGO Ideas! "Fantasy Castle" by Timiny Cricket "Lava Castle" by BrickDesignerNet
  20. @elementary Thank you very much!
  21. My first order arrived too!
  22. How great! Nice job with the turret shape and the detail of the equipment.
  23. @Svendp Thank you so much!
  24. @Henjin_Quilones Thank you very much! Now I have all the information I wished for!
  25. I definitely agree. If the line keeps close to the original story, vehicles seem unlikely. If it's just loosely based on it, then it may as well look like Nexo, Chima, Elves, or anything in between.
