@The Stad Thank you very much! *hm...indeed, I may have been slightly enhusiastic with the two last builds, that are much bigger than standard Lego advent calendar builds...

This build is really impressive! I love the dense vegetation and very detailed terrain and rocks. The minifig posing is great too!

@Alfadas Thank you very much! Planning this advent calendar was so much fun...

@Aine Thank you very much! @Yooha @Robert8 That's also what I thought when I saw the Nisse a few days ago...And tomorrow's minifig will look familiar too! It seems like we read and listened to similar Christmas stories. @The Reader Thank you! And thank you for the book : it seems really nice!

Day 21 : Nordic Bath Given the climate of the region, no wonder that hot baths are a substantial part of Mitgardian culture. Be it in natural hot springs or in artificial baths heated by a wooden stove, the tradition is to relax in hot water before jumping in a cold lake - or simply to refresh in the snow. Previous | Next

@Yooha So glad you enjoyed Vasilisa's story! It was my favourite fairy tale as a kid.

This build is very impressive! I love how that refined and elegant architecture, with just the right amount of detail. And the story is very interesting...
-
@Yooha It may make more sense tomorrow... @Alfadas When I saw that TLG had made the rubber duckies yellow and green, I could not help but find them a way to Mitgardia!

That Nisse is perfect!

Day 20 : Bather For some obscure reason, pumice ducks are a very popular bath toy in Mitgardia. They are usually painted in yellow or green - in tribute to the Guild's colors. Previous | Next

@Alfadas Thank you very much! PS : I can't take credit for the idea of hanging fish using a hook hand though, I've seen it in several MOCs before...

@Robert8 Thank you so much! @The Reader Thank you! The torso is from the 2018 Ollivander minifig.

Day 19 : Cosy Burrow With its distinctive, classy black and white coat, the Great Northern Skunk (Mephitis Borealis) is one of the most recognizable Tundra inhabitants. It is universally known for its ability to spray a liquid with a strong, unpleasant smell when it feels threatened but is, apart from that, a quiet and pleasant little critter. Previous |Next
