It all began with that Spider Man heart torso. As soon as I saw it, I thought it would be perfect for any spider lover. So I made an arachnologist. And since I had much fun building my first custom minifig series in the Historical forum, I decided to build an other serie, dedicated to scientists. To keep my arachnologist company. Note : I hesitated between posting it in this forum or in the Minifig Customization one. I chose this one because this is sort of a MOC within the Collectable Minifigures Series theme, using only non-customised LEGO parts. Sorry if I made the wrong choice! Well...yes. I'm not that good at drawing or minifig-painting, so I'm just re-assembling existing parts. @ToaIruini Idealistic...that's it! If only Series 20 Pirate looked like Robert8's Pirate Lady!

@ToaIruini I intend to post it somewhere on eurobricks as soon as it's finished! That's true. I really thought LEGO designers would find a lot of ideas to reuse it, but as of now...nothing showed up.

I'm spoiling my own future Custom CMF Serie, but there is an existing hairpiece on which the snorkel mask piece can be attached : Serie 16 Spy's hairstyle!

According to the first leaked pictures, Piñata Boy' torso is plain white.

@Robert8 Thank you so much! I had not noticed the stud of the DC stand was open and thus could be put on a bar. Which also means that the DC stands are chainable...Great!

And the diver has a turtle logo on her wetsuit! I'm always fond of such cute little details. But I'm still wondering on which part she stands?! Is there a way to attach the DC stand with the stud down, to put the bar in the diver's flipper?

While no actual collector, I'm going to get quite a few of those for various purposes. I'm especialy glad they went for a more historical design for the Viking. The color of the beard looks too cartoonish though, but that's not a real issue if the helmet and beard are separate molds. Well, probably because the Rohan helmets looked Viking-esque!

If only Series 20 Pirate Lady was very similar to yours...

Well...I'm disappointed by the Pirate Lady. Her outfit looks rather plain - but maybe it's just that the leg print is too dark to look good on the photo. On the bright side, I rather enjoy the Knight, and I really love the Viking. The discussion on the Series 20 thread seem to indicate that his beard and helmet are two separate pieces, which is good news. His outfit looks great and will fit nicely in Mitgardia! Also, I fint it great that the designer actually went for a historical design for such a small detail as a pendant!

Even if there is only one new animal, and even if there are not many historical figures, I'm rather satisfied with the listing for Series 20. My wallet, however, is going to hate it : a priori, I intend to get : - Piñata Boy - Knight - Pirate Lady (maybe more than one) - Rocket Fan Girl - Viking (probably more than one) - Diver (definitely more than one, I want an army of turtles!!) - Girl in Bunny Pajamas - Drone Guy

Promobricks.de released the listing for the Series 20 Minifigures. The turtle is confirmed! Not an actual animal, but we'll also get a new plush bunny.

The Series 20 minifigs were at the NY Toy Fair. Pictures show two new hairpiece molds and three recolors! New molds : - Dark red long hair and white cap combo - Medium nougat hair and black tricorne combo Recolors : - Flitwick's hair in black - Litte Hermione's hair in bright light yellow - Overwatch Soldier:76's hair in medium nougat

Promobricks.de released the listing for the Minifigures Series 20, and there are two medieval ones : - A new knight, clad in orange and grey, with a raven on his shield. - A new Viking with a beard and helmet. And a Pirate Lady!

Wow, right when I posted my last guess list! Pirate Lady and Diver with turtle are confirmed. Martial artist with nunchaku too, but he's male. The minifig with the DC posing stand is a Hip-Hop Dancer, which is a really clever association.

My updated guesses : 1 - Piñata Boy 2 - Wingsuit Basejumper. I really like @Accio Lego's idea of a Jetpack Pilot and find it rather probable, but I'll maintain my initial guess to avoid stealing his idea. @Masked Mini The existing flipper pieces can't be attached to a stud, so a diver with flippers cound not be posed in the same way as the DC figures. That's why I assumed a flying fig as #2 and kept the diver for #12... EDIT : well, it seems it was possible after all! 3 - Just for fun, a Shrimp Tempura Girl! 4 - Female Mech. She could look like S15 Laser Mech, would not necessarily require new molds, and it would be my third initial correct guess in the Guessing Game thread. A female knight seems probable as well. 5 - Pirate Lady! 6 - If it can't be a Black Seas Barracuda Builder, then a Classic Castle Builder with a tiny buildable castle! 7 - Wild guess : Koala Girl! There are so many possibilities...But I noticed my previous Zebra assumption is not compatible with the Pirate Lady given the results in the Guessing Game thread. Those results also exclude Teddy Bear, Stork and Dodo Bird (sadly incompatible with Marine Biologist). 8 - A Viking seems very likely. I would go for a Viking Thunder God, which could be non-royal enough to not count as a "Viking King" : @williejm listed one in the Guessing Game thread and had no correct pick 9 - Still too many options for a rational idea…Wild guess again : Bobsleigh Driver (with a helmet). Since both the Viking Kid and the Headbanger were put aside, then it could be @arnenielsen correct guess! 10 - Female Martial Artist, maybe with new nunchaku. 11 - Rythmic Gymnast with clubs 12 - Diver / Marine Biologist with turtle 13 - Green Crayon Guy : it's really a rehash, and this would make the third costumed minifig of the serie. 14 - Movie Director 15 - Female Highlander, just because this could be my favourite minifig ever. But the hints are not easy for this one! Could be a minifig related to a non-western country's culture, or just "not a counterpart to the Bandit". 16 - Not easy either! Wild guess #3 : Kid trying to solve a hard math problem! But if #4 is not a Female Mech, then it could be a Cartoonist according to the Guessing Game thread results.
