@Eoin Wallace Thank you very much! @Grover Thank you, I'm really glad you like the roof! And yes, those are genuine Avalonian glazed tiles. The manufacturer guaranteed they will withstand the Mitgardian winter. Thankfully, Horgaard is located in southern Mitgardia, not so far from Avalonia. Otherwise, the shipping costs would have been horrific!

@deraven Thank you very much! I'm really glad you appreciate the details of the house, I had a lot of fun choosing them.

I had a closer look at the june Hidden Side sets, and the Castle of Mystery features some rather interesting parts for (dark) fantasy. Especially the minifigs and glass windows. I also quite like the trans light blue wings from the Supernatural Race Car. I hope B&P will be open again by june, and that the parts will be available! -
I was experimenting a few techniques for my ongoing Mitgardian mead hall in the Guilds of Historica, and could not help but deviate from the original Viking vibes! Once upon a time, deep in the forest... More photos in the spoiler section.

@Henjin_Quilones Thank you very much! I'll indeed add a step, otherwise the inhabitants will have a hard time getting inside... @Kai NRG Thank you! I'm really glad you and Henjin like the carving! It will go on all around the building, but for now I'm sadly running out of bricks with a side stud... @Lordofdragonss Thank you so much!

Chapter 3 - Woodworking Previous | Next Sigrid's journal : "Finally, the glazed tiles I ordered from Avalonia arrived! Our carpenters had already built a nice, sturdy framework for the entrance, and now it's roofed. It may not have the flamboyance of those amazing polychrome roofs I had seen in Avalonia, but I'm satisfied with that. If fits better in our austere Mitgardian landscape. The carpenters also started the carvings on the walls. There is still much work to be done, but I think that we finally manage to agree on the pattern..."

@williejm Thank you very much! @Darth Shadowthrone Thank you! I'm really glad you like them. @deraven Thank you! Your creation sounds great, I'm eager to see it! @Robert8 Thank you so much! We seem to have the same favourites... @Karalora Thank you very much! I also agree with @Digger of Bricks : why are classic/pup adventure serie and movies so scarce nowadays?? @Digger of Bricks Thank you so much for your enthusiam! @K_Tiger Thank you! And I definitely agree with you on the wihte scarf and crusher cap... @Peppermint_M Thank you so much! I have drafted a vignette for some of those characters, but I'm not satisfied with it yet. But I'll sure finish it and post it someday!

After Mitgardian Heroes and Scientists, I'm glad to share a third custom Collectable Minifigures Series with you! This time, the theme is Adventure. Inspired by adventure literature classics, pulp fiction novels, and vintage archetyps... Note : just like with the previous one, I hesitated between posting it in this forum or in the Action & Adventure one. I chose this one because this is sort of a MOC within the Collectable Minifigures Series theme... Sorry if I made the wrong choice! Jungle Adventures - A Custom Collectable Minifigures Serie Spoiler sections contain a back view of each minifig, and sometimes additional pictures too. 1. The Hunter 2. The Guide 3. The Ingenue 4. The Captain 5. The Place Miner 6. The Boss 7. The Bush Pilot 8. The Airplane Mechanic 9. The Archaeologist 10. The Bookworm 11. The Jungle Guy 12. The Damsel in Distress 13. The Priestess 14. The Castaway 15. The Warrior 16. The Ophidiophobic Bonus! The Video Game Heroine

Some of you may already know that I enjoy creating custom CMF series, with an even and coherent group in mind. But sometimes, I end up with that one individual minifigure, who insists on standing on its own without the need of a whole serie. So here is the topic where I will gather those minifigures. They will be added in individual comments, with an updated recap right here as I create them. Pictures are clickable and lead to each character's own comment.. <

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Aurore replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
While I'm much more interested in the Exploration sets than the Airport one, I really appreciate the easter egg on the airline ticket : the flight seem to be for Heartlake City (HLC), from LCI which I would assume to be LEGO City. -
No problem! And I'd love a deer too... ...sorry! I know...But I find that the shape of the otter mould could be used for other mustelids as well (with the size issue raised by @Roebuck)

Indeed! It really looks great, and could be suitable for all kinds of mustelids… Now I'm dreaming of having a white version of it in a future CMF, with a Renaissance lady like the one on the Da Vinci painting!

What looked like a BAM leaflet or poster with several minifigs leaked a few days ago as well, and the minis feature some of the parts on the above-mentioned photo. The torso of the one with the bow is not easy to distinguish, so no idea if it could be useful for Castle, but there is also a maiden/princess with the lavender skirt piece, a sword and what looks like a new torso! -
One more photo of the angler fish leaked...Hidden Side rather than City, IMO.
